Cozy 1-bedroom Hawksbill Cottage in Islamorada, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Hawksbill Cottage - The Hawksbill Cottage is located in Turtle Cove, Islamorada's quaint enclave of five cottages all with their own personality and characteristics. All five cottages share the oceanfront property's amenities: pool, boat basin, tropical sprawling grounds, ping pong table, kayaks, paddle boards, oceanfront shaded tiki area and more. This peaceful garden bungalow is secluded in lush tropical landscaping. It features a king bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, living room and private patio. The decor and furnishings give it a tranquil feel. The Hawksbill Cottage can be rented separately or in combination with any of the other four homes. There is a cottage above the attached garage, referred to as The Treehouse, that is convenient to rent for family and friends.

Many of our guests' re-book the same property on an annual basis. No reservation is confirmed until you speak with us.
Please note: before proceeding with your booking, kindly review the following information. This property is managed by a local Islamorada rental company, Freewheeler Vacations. Payments for your vacation rental will be made thru Freewheeler Vacations. You will also see a charge from VRBO which covers their booking service fee which is already included in the total cost. We prefer payments via personal check or eCheck. However, if you opt to pay by credit card, a 3% convenience fee will be applied to your rental. You will receive the Freewheeler Vacations Vacation Rental Agreement via email, which must be signed before your arrival. All future correspondence will be made through Freewheeler Vacations.

Beautiful cottage in a great location

Beautiful space that was close to great restaurants and activities. Bed was comfortable and linens were extra soft. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Cozy little cottage

Sue was great in answering questions. Good location with beautiful ocean views from the property. Even though there were several other cottages, it was not crowded. Lovely pool as well.

This is a great property, location in the keys is perfect, allowing you to do both upper and lower key's in a short drive. The property is well kept, small and quaint. They are quick to make any repairs, and show warm hospitality. We would choose this property again for sure!

Cozy But Not Comfy

Excellent setting, with privacy and great views. In the comfort category, the bed, pillows, and living room furniture should be updated to justify the price tag of the rental property. A daily cleaning of bird poop by the pool area would also be recommended. Other than that, the agent we worked with was very responsive and overall it's a nice rental property.

Islamorada getaway

The cottage was adorable, clean beautifully decorated and spacious. A couple of things came up and the rental manager Sue was very attentive and took care of the situation promptly.

Great property

This property was everything we wanted and hoped it would be. Very lush landscape. Beautiful views of the ocean. The pool was just the right size. We will definitely be back, and hopefully some of our family will join us next time. Sue was great to work with and made this a breeze.
