In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 2, the maximum allowed occupancy is 4, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers two bedrooms and bathrooms, a screened porch, and long lagoon views. The second-floor Turtle Cove Villa is just a 5-minute walk or quick bike ride away from the beach.

The living room with comfortable sofas and a chair is a great gathering space to watch a movie, play a game, listen to music, or read a book. The kitchen opens up to the dining room with a table and seating for 4 and has convenient access to the screened porch. The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a nearby full bathroom. The TV in the twin bedroom is an APP only TV, there is no cable box.

This villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Dogs under 100 lbs are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet per day, with a maximum of two (2) pets. Contact us directly to add pets to your reservation.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

Great trip to Kiawah

The condo was very comfortable and perfect for a vacation. The property was convenient to all the attractions and it was easy to bike or drive anywhere. The beautiful scenery and adjacent pond were a wonderful benefit.

Nice Kiawah Getaway

Nice property on Kiawah. Convenient with second bedroom and allowing stays shorter than one week. Wish it were slightly closer to the beach but that’s finding things…I’d still come back and recommend this to friends.

Great Kiawah Marathon location

Absolutely amazing! Marathon runs right next to the location. Perfect for cheering on the runners. Easy walk to the beach and our digs enjoyed their stay as well. We would definitely rent again!

Enjoyed our 3 day golf villa stay on Kiawah Island over Christmas. The second floor villa was comfortable, pet-friendly, offered a nice view of a lagoon, had a well-equipped kitchen and a great location for bike rides & beach walks. TV & Wi-Fi worked well.

Great place!

The condo was sparkling clean when we got there. It has a great view of the water and everything that you will need for your stay. Beware that the pond behind the house has alligators and to keep kids and pets away from the edge. It was still nice to see the wildlife from the top floor window. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great Porch, very peaceful area

Nice little condo home a short walk from beach and the screened porch was our favorite place to hang out between biking and beaching. Biking the beach was amazing (very hard packed sand) and dont miss marsh island park with a tower to climb and view. Not far to walk to Jasmine Porch, our fav lunch restaurant within gated community, otherwise we rode our bikes just outside the gate to freshfields village for eating out at reasonable prices.

Weekend stay with dog

The home was well set up for our needs. No complaints. Furniture and beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the porch as it was chilly. (Noted that there was a hole in the screening that needs to be patched.) The kitchen was well stocked for in house eating.

I explained 12 times about my wife being Handicapped and 76 years old. I asked for easy beach access and pool property. I was ignored ignored by ellis akers and Vrbo repeatedly. The ocean access point #28 had me cross a golf course. NEVER will we use you again. Thanks for making our week physically exhausting and a true lack of any positive memories.

We are again truly sorry to hear of your disappointment and experience. As noted in the rental agreement, our guests do not have access to resort pools. It was for this reason and the fact that the property does have steps that we authorized a cancellation with full refund after your rental agreement and total payment were processed. However, that offer was declined and the reservation continued as planned. We never wish our guests to have a negative experience and do our best via our rental agreement and property descriptions (both through our website and third party providers) to provide as thorough information as possible as well as pictures of the unit. We will certainly review our material to ensure that is the case and make any adjustments necessary to make this clear to all guests.

Dirty, old, gross

Do not rent this. The pics are very misleading. First, it is a second floor unit and not first as it stated. Second, there are holes in the screens in the screen room, leaves all over the screens. The inside, has paint peeling on many areas, dirty walls, dirty kitchen, the carpet feels as though it is 50 years old and very dirty, wallpaper peeling in many areas and the bathroom is dirty and old with cracks all over. Finally, the toilet barely flushes. The only thing going for it is the location. Otherwise find another place near it and don’t pick this.

Pet friendly condo

The condo is clean and comfortable but a bit shabby. E.g.,paint and wallpaper peeling off the wall. Gouges in the sheet rock. The kitchen is very under stocked. There was only 1 teaspoon and 2 tablespoons in the cutlery set. Cookware is not high quality. The owners really need to attend to the kitchen equipment. Also, the safe in the closet is inoperable so I would not bring valuables. However, the furnishings are attractive and comfortable and the setting is lovely. The grounds are pristine but surrounded by nature. The management company was very responsive. It was pet friendly and we appreciated being able to have our little dog with us. Overall it was a mixed experience. Some things very nice; some not so nice.

Pet-friendly should not mean filled with pet hair

While this is the perfect spot to walk to the beach, there was nothing perfect about our stay. Our dog is NOT a shedding dog, so we were shocked to find pet hair everywhere--the floors, the bedding, and the furniture. It was so bad that we asked for an additional cleaning. When that didn't work, our 24-year old son had to leave early (due to the allergens everywhere) and the rest of us took extra allergy medication--just to put up with it. In addition, the twin beds really are for children, not adults. My two young adult children did not enjoy sleeping in those beds, and we ended up buying a queen air mattress at the local ACE hardware store, which they both agreed was much more comfortable than the beds. We have been coming to Kiawah since 2000 and this was by far, the most dirty place we have stayed. There are so many things that need fixing. We won't be returning here.

We are sorry to hear that you were not pleased with the villa. As stated, we did have housekeeping return when it was advised that the cleaning hadn't been adequate. Regrettably, with pet friendly properties, even with the absence of hair it is nearly impossible to remove dander entirely from a pet friendly unit, especially without breed restrictions and within the midst of the summer season. Additionally, I can advise that the twin beds are as depicted and standard twin size. I am also pleased to advise that the owner has made a few upgrades that are not pictures that have resulted and mostly positive feedback throughout this long and busy season. We hope that you were able to enjoy your time on the island otherwise and will be sure to work with our housekeeping partners on their attention to detail in regards to pet hair.

We loved the quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get on ble trails. Be sure yo rent bikes if staying on property. There is a playground for kids just minutes away and the walk to the beach was about 8 minutes. 2 bedrooms were spacious and not next to each other creating privacy. Nice screened in porch and patio doors to let in the cool evening air in April.

2 weeks at Turtle Cove Villa on Kiawah

Our vacation was very good. Location of villa was excellent -very close to beach which was one of the prettiest and close to beautiful golf courses. Peaceful and pristine! Note to golfers - green fees are very high! Villa was cozy and comfortable and I would say well equipped. We ate in a few nights and it worked well. The porch overlooking the lagoon was excellent and we spent a lot of time out there. Lots of wildlife. Bed was comfy and bathrooms very nice. Some updating is in need in areas cracked tiles , grouting, stained carpet and a good painting everywhere would spruce it up. Shopping at FreshFields was fun with lots of great restaurants. Overall we really had a great time

This Unit desperately needs work.

This unit is in desperate need of a cleaning, painting, new carpeting, and overall attention. Overall the place is dirty! It needs a fresh painting desperately. The molding around the doors frames in the bath and kitchen area are beat up and dirty. The carpets are stained and filthy. The furniture is stained and dirty. The louvered door to the AC unit has dust caked on each louver. There was an overall smell of mold throughout our stay. The kitchen cabinets are dirty and gross. The bathrooms need to have all the grout removed from the tub/shower and re-caulked so guests don't have to look at built up black mold. The shower curtain in the master bath is 6 inches to long so it was soaking wet after each shower. It would be nice if the screens on the porch were blown free of all the built up debris on the outside so one could sit out on the porch, relax and not fell like bugs are going to be crawling all over you. The floor beneath the dryer was covered in sand as well and the lint area and ledge inside the dryer door. A cockroach crawled across my husband our last night there and there were other bugs in the unit during our stay. Best thing about the unit was the ice machine. We had plenty of ice for our cooler each day. We will not be rebooking in the unit again.

We are sorry to hear of your displeasure with the unit. From our records, we show that you reported upon your arrival that it wasn't cleaned properly. We offered to have housekeeping returned, but the offer was declined. Our maintenance team did however come to address and issue reported with the fridge. Unfortunately, I don't see that any other issues were brought to our attention. We take the health and safety of our guests extremely seriously. Our team has investigated these comments, and we can assure that there is on black mold anywhere in the property, though there was some mildew found in the shower that has since been cleaned. I am extremely pleased to advise that no other guests throughout this busy season have reported the same issues. Our team will continue to investigate everything mentioned and address each one as needed.

Property needs a updating tile in bathrooms showed signs of need a good cleaning or replacement the up stairs villa was a real problem for my wife because of her mobility, carpet had a lot of stains, size of villa met our needs very effectively
