If you are looking for a vacation 'Destin'ation we have a place for you in Sandpiper Cove. Our rates are as competitive as any in the community.

We have a spacious, fully-furnished, two bedroom condominium with a king-size bed in the large master suite, and a queen-size and bunk beds in the second bedroom. The sofa in the living area is a queen size sleeper. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. We are located at the fifth hole tee of the private nine-hole, par-three golf course.

From our condominium, it is a short walk to the private, white-sand beach of the Gulf.

Our gated community has five swimming pools, six tennis courts and three hot tubs. Sports equipment is furnished FREE to our guests in the Sandpiper Cove office. WiFi, wireless internet access is picked-up in the unit and is always available nearby in the Sandpiper Cove office during business hours. Plus, our on-site Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant has a wonderful harbor view and outdoor seating.


Sandpiper Cove is located in Destin, Florida between Fort Walton Beach and Panama City.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Check out is by 10 AM. Please return all keys back to the key box outside the front door. Remove all trash and food items from the refrigerator.
Please make sure all ceiling fans are off and the air conditioner is turned to 76 in the summer and 70 in the winter.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect beach getaway

The condo was great! The beds were super comfy and everything was in working order. If you plan to cook, they had all the pots and pans you needed. You will need to bring filters for the coffee maker but there is a Winn Dixie and target across the street. Check in and check out we’re super easy.

We have stayed at Sandpiper several times and I was shocked at how roomy this condo was! Very well-kept and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Beautiful view of golf course and water. Will definitely be back!

Overall, this was an excellent location and just across from the beach. We didn't have to drive far to get access to the beachfront because it was just across the street and it was a private beach. Terry, our host, was very responsive to my query. I didn't have to wait long. The condo had everything that we would need for our short vacation. Albeit, some of the appliances were older, these still work so this was not a problem for us. Restaurants were not far away and Target was also a walking distance.

Just what we needed!

Had a great stay. Nice condo, had lots of extras in kitchen. Property owner was great! This is our 4 th winter in this area, i love to watch ocean. First time we didn't have ocean view . But there was a canal view. So much fun watching the ducks splash and the pelicans were so funny diving into the water. The ocean is right across the street. So GREAT time! GREAT CONDO!! GREAT owner!

By day the condo was very nice. Great location and very clean. By nite the condo was very uncomfortable. We are not an overweight family. The mattresses are in terrible condition in the bedrooms. Extremely worn out! Would never stay here again unless mattresses are replaced!

I am terribly sorry you had that experience! The mattresses are only 3 years old and were quite expensive. As an owner, we stay for 3 months and are quite comfortable. Other guests have told me how comfortable the mattresses are. Again, I am sorry you had that experience.

We had a great time. A couple of things: It took a while to get the Wi-Fi’s correct password which was okay but it was weak security. So we were afraid to use. The main thing was you can not use a tent or a tarp of any kind at the beach only umbrellas. The closet that had the umbrellas in it was locked and we couldn’t get them. So that was a bummer. But other than that it was great

This condo was perfect for our family trip to FL. The entire process was very easy! Terry was very quick to respond to my messages. It was great having access to multiple pools and the private beach. The location of the condo made it relatively easy to get to the softball field in Ft. Walton despite the traffic! We would stay here again!

We are a group of family members who one day decided we wanted to purchase a piece of paradise. We reside in Louisville, KY - about an eleven hour drive from Destin.
We hope you enjoy Sandpiper Cove as much as each of us does every time we travel down!

Why they chose this property

Buying this condo in the private/gated community of Sandpiper Cove was smart. Our location within the community is great and the Gulf is just steps away. Security is a 24 hour operation. The wonderful thing is we never have to leave the property.
We chose to buy in Destin because it is a quaint beach town, next to Fort Walton Beach and nestled between Pensacola and Panama City. Plus, New Orleans is just a few hours away!

What makes this property unique

Our condo is newly remodeled with new flooring, appliances and cabinetry in the kitchen, bath and living area. Sandpiper Cove offers many amenities - tennis (6 courts), golf (9 hole, par-3), pools (5, two heated) and more. Security is on duty at all times. We even have an on-site restaurant, Louisiana Lagniappe with outdoor seating and a harbor view. Everyone is always friendly and helpful!
Located beachside is a snack bar and a beach service offering daily or weekly rates for your beach chair setup.
Come to play, rest or take a relaxing walk on the sugar-white sand while enjoying the emerald green water. It's often just what the body needs!
