Just across the road from the beach, 5 min drive to NYC train, highway & downtown Stamford. 10 min drive to Greenwich. 45 min commute to NYC. Popular/w MALS guests. The most expensive, convenient & desirable Stamford location with parks, tennis courts, picturesque places to go for a walk & beautiful quiet streets (which bump into the water). This polished all over house with an antique flair comes with a seasonal furnished porch. A great attention was paid to each and every tiny detail to make sure it matches the nautical decor. All new furniture including comfortable beds, mattresses, etc. Nautical Fairy-tale Beach House is across our other listing. Larger groups could reserve both houses and stay close to each other. CONTACT ME FOR 1 MONTH+ RESERVATIONS EVEN IF SOME DAYS ARE UNAVAILABLE. WE WILL ALWAYS ACCOMMODATE 1 MONTH+ RESERVATIONS.

Also, we provide iron and ironing board, hangers, hair dryer, some toys, high chair, Pack&Play Crib. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, powered cream. Kitchen has a coffee-maker, toaster, electrical pot, multiples dishes, pots and pans. We want you to feel at home.

A very Happy Thanksgiving!

We stayed at this beautifully updated home Nov 2024 for Thanksgiving week and had a great visit w our kids in the area and our parents from out of state. The owners were most responsive to our requests, the home is clean and well maintained, and the area is beautiful… daily walks on the beach were perfect. Highly recommend this home!

Cute and cozy stay at an amazing location

The house is very cute and cozy, and the location is great. 1hr-ish drive from Manhattan and also close to Stamford train station. Victoria is a very welcoming and kind host, and made sure that every aspect of our stay was fine.

The house was so close to the beach. A short walk, easy for young ones. We enjoyed the house, sleeping was a challenge, cots are not the same as beds, and a pull out sofa is not a futon. Everything else was fine.

Wonderful experience

We spent a weekend at Victoria’s beautiful house, celebrating a bridal shower. The house was spotless, nicely decorated and comfortable for our party of 11. The neighborhood pleasant for a morning walk, the beach close for a quick swim before the party. The communication with Victoria was excellent, she responded very quickly to all the questions . Highly recommended! Don’t hesitate to book this home!

Beautifully decorated

The inside of this home is amazing. Everything is new, clean and designed for your convenience. There’s a beach a short walk away that’s small and quaint. A walk to the end of Shippan takes you to a strip of rocky beach to explore and beautiful homes. The rental is on a very busy street with no backyard so use the porch to relax. Parking is on the street, directly in front of the house as the other rental is immediately behind this house, an arm’s length away. The guests in house two get the driveway. Victoria was easily accessible and welcomed us with candy, cookies and sparkling cider. A relaxing time with Greenwich just 10 minutes away.

terrible experience very dirty house

the house wasn't ready when we arrived, she stayed doing the garden while we where there. After spending a night we realized there was moist in the air condition and despite what the owner said (it is moist) and never were cleaned at least for the past 6 months. Fungus on one window upstairs plus a lot of dust and insects in the windows who were almost never opened. The oven was really dirty and greasy and not only a stain as the owner insited on. We had to move very quickly from the house as we didn't want to get sick from the AC moist plus we had a baby and toddlers with us. the owner wasn't easy to talk to as she never admitted anything and didn't want to reimburse. just don't go there unless you want a filthy and unhealthy house.

Great house for all age groups!

My husband and I were stain the house with our adult daughter and her 3 year old. While we weren’t at the house much, when there the kid toys were great. Being able to walk to the beach was great. The host had everything we needed: cart, towels, umbrella! It was awesome!!!!!

Perfect For The Whole Family

Wow! Such an amazing stay, and Victoria was an incredible host. The house was well stocked and just minutes walk from the beach, food, parks, tennis courts and soccer fields. When we arrived, we quickly realized we needed a high chair and more towels, and within a couple of hours, both were hand delivered to us with a huge smile! The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the porch is a perfect place to start your day with ocean breeze and coffee. Our group included adults ranging from 28-65 and kids ranging from 6 months - 5 years old and all had a great time!

Great and relaxing stay!

We spent a month in this property for our summer vacations. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of room even for big families. The house is well placed, about 5 minutes walking from the beach and in the middle one of the most beautiful neighborhood of Stamford. The owner, Victoria, was very helpful and provided us with all the things that we needed. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing seaside getaway with family and/or friends.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. It was conveniently located, and beautifully styled. We wanted a weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. Victoria was great to work with. She’s responsive and informative. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Although I have a successful career in real estate now which consumes all my life, I am also a former teacher, member of Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, University Professor, interpreter and translator including United Nations, and my life has always been about people.

I feel sad :) when my phone doesn't ring, and I love it when somebody needs me which explains why I answer my phone 24/7.

I don't think it is possible to fake being a people person, and I am certainly is and have always been one. Thus it comes as a given that I will be happy to socialize with the guests and help them with advice, etc. if they need me with the emphasis on the latter because being social, friendly, caring & helpful is different from being intrusive, and your privacy will always be respected.

I live 10 min from the house, and I will be available when you need me (either on the phone or in person). I will certainly do my best to make sure you will enjoy staying in my place as well as the neighborhood because I want it to be a memorable experience for you. Let's develop life-long relationships! I want you to come back :)!

Why they chose this property

The part of Stamford where the house is located is very unique (it is a peninsular called Shippan Point). The main road (it takes 1 min to reach its end by car) goes all the way to the Atlantic ocean (we call it Long Island Sound since the water is separated from the ocean by a row of mountains). Thus, where the main road ends, the water starts. It is a neighborhood like no other: people walk, and jog, and bike there, it has a resort vibe and ocean breeze.

The house is across the road from the beach and at the same time it is just 1 mile from downtown Stamford with its shopping and restaurants as well as the Train Station (50 min commute to NYC which could be less than it would have taken you if you stayed in NYC depending on your NYC location). Also, large grocery store Shop Rite is right around the corner from the house.

Shop Rite is surrounded by many restaurants including Subway. On your way to ShopRite there will be a very popular Ice-Cream Shop.

Famous Irish Pub Brennan's is a short walk from the house (right at the water). The food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and it has a Cape Cod vibe (and children's menu).

This neighborhood has it all. It's a great place to spend your vacations or just stay for a while when visiting Stamford on business, etc.


What makes this property unique

The house has 3 new queen beds and one new bunk bed as well as a new queen sofa-bed. Pack&Play cribs for babies could provided upon request as well as a high chair.

There's a washer & dryer, iron and ironing board.

New kitchen is fully equipped and seasonal covered porch is furnished with outdoor furniture.

The number of made beds depends on the number of guests we host. We are asking to please not use the extra beds (whether they are made or not) since they are reserved for larger groups.

Even if some guests, who are part of a group, do not sleep all booked nights (for example if they sleep only 2 nights out of 6 booked nights) they will still be charged for all booked nights since once a bed is used (even if only for 1 night) we will need to wash the beddings which is the most time consuming and difficult job.

I hope you will enjoy our beautiful house with every piece of decor being handpicked to match the theme of the house.
