The place was very clean, and having everything downstairs was so convenient. It’s also a great location—being so close to downtown made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. I’d definitely stay here again
Bakery downstairs woke us at 6am when opening their store. Street noise was a little loud. Overall liked it. Good location. Would stay again!

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the location and overall stay. I appreciate you noting the early bakery activity and street noise—being in a downtown location, some noise is unfortunately inevitable. We’d be happy to host you again!
Best,

We loved this spot. We thought we’d try something different with a city feel. Space was very clean, beds comfortable, host responded readily to all of our questions. We really enjoyed the bakery and restaurant down below too. Close to all of the places we wanted to visit in Asheville and free parking! We realized the only thing we didn’t love was the noise of cars going by at night and streetlights but that is to be expected when booking this type of location. Thanks for a great stay!
Great location, central to downtown and Biltmore. Awesome to have a coffee shop on the ground level with other options within 1 block. Beds were very comfortable and the area was very safe.
Awesome visit. Great location. Met all of our needs. Would recommend to anyone.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Communications with hosts was quick and concise. Location to downtown was decent, you can walk or take a Uber/Lyft ride (didn't cost too much). City Bakery and Bone & Broth right downstairs was fabulous. A few things to note - noise from the street is very loud in the room facing the street (middle of the night not bad), especially in the morning. Room is very bright, could stand to have curtains added. My biggest disappointment was that there wasn't a luggage rack/dresser/chair/table in the bedroom to place our bags/clothes. Yes there's a closet, but had to place our bags/clothes on the floor. Would also be nice if there was a full length mirror in each room. Overall our stay was fine, may not seek this accommodation again in the future unfortunately .
Great place, new and in a good location with restaurant and bakery below. Worked well for a girls getaway.

Great little place. Not recommended for light sleepers due to people and city noise. Great location. Comfy and cozy. Probably needs a little sprucing up from rental wear and tear but it was overall a cute place with everything we needed.
The location was nice and loved having a bakery right downstairs. We were able to check in early to put my toddler down for a nap which was really helpful and the property manager was communicative. Unfortunately, there were children who presumably live in the building running around for hours each day and the walls were quite thin so we could hear it all. Overall, it was a nice experience, just wouldn’t choose it if you have small children or light sleepers.

Reviewer Comments:
The building was lovely, great location, nice kitchen and 2 bathrooms was perfect. Having no elevator was not a problem ( both my husband and myself are in our 80’s). However, we really missed having a dining table.
This was a great place for us! Close to downtown and less than 10 minutes from the Biltmore property. Check in was super easy and when we had questions - the hosts answered super fast. It was very clean. The unit is exactly as pictured - in an old, charming building, but totally updated. FYI - you do have a walk up a flight of stairs and the building is on a rather busy street, so if you are a light sleeper or have mobility concerns this is perhaps not the place for you.
Great location and charming, but sorely needs maintenance
This was a great location and overall was a charming unit.
However the apartment is sorely in need of maintenance - the windows are drafty, the walls are patched and the bathrooms floors are peeling up - making it hard to shut the doors.
We had no communication with the property manager besides the introductory email with the codes.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of a Starbucks and three grocery stores. Road noise was significant in the master bedroom, but we were too tired after walking miles each day to let it keep us awake.
The location was great everything seemed to be within10 min. the bakery downstairs is amazing and super convenient.

Not so good stay
Noise was terrible, couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. Parking was another problem especially getting luggage in and out of building. Would not stay there again.
Expected an impressive experience but found the property somewhat disappointing for the price. No seating in small bedrooms. Small baths. No table for eating/no eating area. Living room furniture not up to expectations for a “recently upgraded “ place.

Not ready for prime time...
Many loose flooring tiles. Not one surface appropriate for dining.
Very noisy with building on busy city street. This is my second vrbo experience and most likely, my last. Fees are too high. On my first stay the need to bring our own sheets & towels was in the rental contract. Honestly, why hide that fact by not putting in the listing itself. vrbo need to get it together.
We brought our Canadian friends up to Asheville for a few days and nights of exploring. We LOVED the king beds (and sheets!). Having two bathrooms was just what we wanted and appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed for a great stay. We also enjoyed the common space living room for visiting! So convenient to walk to 3 terrific grocery stores. Thank you!
We had a lovely stay in Asheville! The property was perfect for our family of four. Everything was super close and we loved being above the bakery and restaurant.
Listing was super clean and decorated nicely. The building is historic, but it didn't feel like you were somewhere outdated. AC/heat worked perfectly as we needed it (that fall weather is all over the place from AM to PM). The cafe, restaurant, and butcher shop all came in super handy during our stay. 10/10 recommend.
The apartment/condo looks just like the pictures. Easy access to the the interstate and downtown amenities. Great location for a couples getaway or weekend with friends. Beds were comfortable and rooms extremely clean. Only recommendation is for the master bedroom window blinds to go all the way down. The streets lights have the room bright at night. The 2nd bedroom windows blinds are AWESOME.
