Wonderful Peter Bay Home

This property was terrific for two families of five. Everything about this home was great including the views, pool, beach, living area and kitchen. I would not hesitate to visit again.

Villa Vita

Great house in a great location. House is well appointed with all you need for cooking and eating in, if you want. Beautiful views and close to all the north shore beaches. Pool and deck area are large-loved all the outdoor spaces. We had a great week!

Wedding week

Very nice property but disappointing. We did not have a functioning hot tub when we arrived. It did get fixed and half of the bedrooms and kitchen had no hot water five of our six days. I would not stay here again.

Dear James, thanks for choosing LaVita Villa! We value your feedback. My team and I went above and beyond to ensure that you and your guests had an amazing time during your stay! Unfortunately, the hot tub element fell out (completely unpredictable) and we went over to St. Thomas (sister island) on the car barge the same day to purchase the part and had someone repair it for you within hours. The hot water issue was also repaired by the plumber. I would like to offer my sincere apologies again. The villa still offered amazing master suites throughout and all with breathtaking views of Cinnamon Bay Beach and beyond! Full air-conditioned property with a gym, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVS in all master suites, covered and uncovered parking for up to 6 cars, beach and snorkel gear etc.. My hope is that you had an amazing time despite the minor hiccup.

First rate holiday home.

LaVita is the most beautiful home on St. John. I don’t know where to start. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want. There is 2 of everything. 2 dishwashers are the best. The 5 bedroom suites are spectacular, 4 of the suites have outdoor showers. The outside living, dining and swimming area are wonderful. We spent every minute around the pool when we were not at the beach. A private beach is an easy walk. Luciah, the property manager, was very helpful. She kept in contact with us during the stay. The maintenance team was available 24/7. Everything in the house is top of the line, from the soap in the bathrooms to every piece of furniture and appliance. There is absolutely nothing that could have made a much needed Covid family vacation any better. Thank you.

Amazing house in the most beautiful location

Our group could not have had a better trip and this house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Each bedroom is set up as a master suite, 4 out of 5 of them with pretty outside showers and all with amazing views. The house is just beautiful. You’d be hard pressed to find a better location - the private beach was a short walk, though we would shuttle chairs, etc with the jeep. Luciah was great and very responsive - we had an issue with a noisy air conditioner in one of the rooms and the hot tub was not working when we got there, but she got maintenance to fix both quickly. Can’t say enough about this beautiful home and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful spot!

The location of this house is amazing! The views are beautiful and it is a very short drive to two of the best beaches on the island! The house is spacious with well appointed bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The infinity pool and hot tub were at the center of our week. From there we could enjoy the gorgeous views and escape from the heat. The kitchen and the outdoor grill were great - we cooked all week and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our only issue with the house itself was that the living space (living room, dining room, kitchen) was not very conducive to hanging out together as a family. It was not possible to completely close up the living space from bugs, because there is a decorative feature over one of the exterior doors that is an open oval of about a foot wide that has no screen over it. So in the evenings there was no comfortable space for the whole family to gather where we didn’t get eaten alive by mosquitos. The living room furniture is four oversized armchairs, that technically fit two people, but there are no couches, so a max of 8 people can sit to watch something on TV, but only if they split evenly into 4 couples. There were also some housekeeping issues, but Luciah was very responsive and took care of our needs. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all the showers was not refilled before our stay, so I asked Luciah about it and she responded immediately and bought more for us. We also almost ran out of toilet paper. When we first got there, the wall AC unit in one of the bedrooms was leaking water all over the floor - Luciah again immediately sent someone over to take care of it - the unit didn’t leak anymore, but also didn’t cool much either. The pool lights didn’t work during our whole stay - Luciah sent someone over to try to fix it, but they were not able to fix it. The bedrooms don’t have room darkening shades or curtains, just lighter white ones and not over all the windows. So for some of us it was not a problem, but others had a hard time sleeping past sunrise. And lastly, the person who met us to take us to the villa the first day was not very flexible with our delayed arrival (had a delayed flight and ferry), so my husband had to rush with her to the villa on his own in our rental Jeep so that she could show him the house and leave, then had to come back to get the rest of us. Overall, we had a great week, but it was not as restful, relaxing, and social as I was hoping.

Better than imagined

Villa LaVita was everything we hoped and more. This property is GORGEOUS! The views were amazing, the vegetation and flowers were beautiful, fairly easy walk to the beach (definitely wear shoes though), great location with a easy drive to Cruz Bay, Maho/Francis bay as well as other north shore bays. Had the time of our lives and did not want to leave. Will definitely be back!

Simply the best!

Brandi and I and I stayed for 5 days and we were blown away by LaVita! The kitchen is fully stocked with all equipment required for even the most experienced chef. Everything you could possibly need except the groceries The entire Villa was impeccable! The Spa takes a short 20 minutes to warm up and the pool is crystal clean and sparkly and very refreshing as well. With a view that extends for miles, you literally feel as if you’re on top of the world. Lucy our host was very quick to respond with anything we needed. This Villa is a solid 5 stars in a 5 star world!
