This charming Craftsman style cottage set on 3 acres and nestled in the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau sits in the cove just below Sewanee and the University of the South making it a convenient 8-10 minute drive to University events, hiking trails, and local attractions. Other popular attractions are only minutes away such as Tims Ford State Park (18 miles) and Jack Daniels distillery and visitor center (28 miles). This beautiful family home has been recently renovated from top to bottom and is beautifully appointed and fully up to date. The state-of-the-art, spacious kitchen boasts brand new Samsung & Kitchenaid appliances, a Kitchen Aid mixer, a Ninja blender, and a Keurig machine for your use. A lovely screened-in back porch with a magnificent view of the mountains makes for a lovely spot for relaxation or visiting with family or friends. The cottage's setting offers a great opportunity to unplug and get away from it all while also being fully equipped with amenities such as Wi-Fi you expect.

The 2 bedroom cottage features double beds with brand new top quality mattresses including a Tempurpedic in the back bedroom, which also features a beautiful picture window with a lovely view. An air mattress and extra long couch are available for extra sleeping space bringing max capacity to 6.

This lovely cottage is our family's 2nd home, so it is well cared for and ready to welcome you!

Great location for Sewanee events. Beautiful pastoral setting and close to local towns. House is very charming and clean. Would stay there again.

Charming and comfortable farmhouse

The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is a nice open area good for cooking and visiting. It’s a great place for family or friends.

Came for dgtrs Sewanee graduation. Beautiful home, well appointed, everything works and looked brand new inside and out. Charging stations for electronics in each bedroom and living area, extra touch well appreciated and Starbucks Kpods.

Sewanee Gem

Beautifully restored farm house at the base on the mountain below Sewanee. A peaceful five minute drive from Shenanigans. Enjoyed sitting on the screened back porch watching horses graze beside cornfields, with prefect mountain views in the background. Charming exterior and completely modern interior. Can’t wait to return. .
