Nice small apartment with vintage charm—furnished nicely. Due to my inexperience could not operate the stove top, air conditioner or toaster effectively without instructions.
The carriage house was very comfortable for me and my husband but the best thing of all about the rental was the location. We spend many hours just walking around the area as it is a historic district of Gainesville and also walkable to Gainesville. Highly recommend this property for a couple visiting the area!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and the communication before and upon arrival was professional and informative. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable but the sofa bed and trundle in the living room aren't far behind. We didn't spend much time in the house but having a Roku tv was nice at night when we were winding down. We commented several times over the weekend how clean and well decorated the house was... Very cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again any time we come to Gainesville.
Overall the property was very nice. We did not spend a lot of time at the property ,we were out most of the day. Didn’t really care for the Roku TV took a great amount of time to see the weather which was a big part of our weekend. The bed was great (we have same mattress) .The apt was very unique not all will like it,but we will be back.
Cute apartment, perfect for 3 of us to stay during a weekend trip to Gainesville! The bed was extremely comfortable and the coffee, milk and granola bars were much appreciated! The decor in the apartment was also nicely done. As far as the location, it wasn't extremely close to campus but a very easy (less than $10) Uber ride away.
