Enjoy Paradise! Villa Berici is set in the tranquility of the Berici Hills providing you with an excellent private base to discover the treasures of Venice, Lake Garda, Verona, The Adriatic and the Dolomites one hour away!. A car is recommended, there is ample parking for 3 cars in the drive & in the Garage. Take days out relaxing at the villa with its own Private Pool ( 6.5mtrs X 3mtrs X 1.2mtrs deep) Gardens, Swings, Boule court, Olive grove, Vineyards & Woods. Embrace the nature Fauna & Flora; listen to the Grass Hoppers, watch the butterflies & chance to spot a Praying Mantis, Iguana & Deer.
Feel comfortable with the layout of the bedrooms as it is suitable for two families or sets of friends who wish to share the villa together. Bedroom 1 & main bathroom are off the hall landing & have access to a Balcony overlooking the Hills. The 3rd door on the landing leads to another hallway with separate bathroom & to bedrooms 2/3/4.
Have a Breakfast Brioche on the balcony taking in the views & morning sun! Enjoy memorable evenings cooking and eating al fresco under the Portico with its panoramic view overlooking the Val Liona's Medieval villages and Villas. On foot explore the springs, fountains, forna and flora in the woods, or follow the local footpaths into the hills nearby and find caves and ancient cart tracks. Take a gentle walk down the hill to eat at the popular Pizzeria, Ice cream Gelateria or drink at the bars in town. By car discover the areas gastronomic delights and participate in the local Festas and Sagre , Taste wine or Grappa in the Cantinas & Distilleries and visit the Palladian villas of the Veneto region.

Perfect vacation house

Beautiful villa with panoramic view

We spend seven relaxed days with two families and enjoyed the Villa and it’s amenities. We loved the wide Terrace with sunbeds, hangmock, the chilling pool. In the kitchen, we could find everything we need. We enjoyed the barbecue outside. The panoramic view was magnificent. Best greetings to Cecilia

Fantastic stay

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property immensely. It features absolutely fantastic views from the patio, pool and yard area as well as from the large balcony. The property is very well equipped on the inside as well as on the outside. The patio with its various options to eat, lounge, sit, play table tennis, etc. can’t be beat. The yard surrounding the house is huge, offering relaxation and serenity. It truly felt like a piece of paradise. Olive trees, vineyards, fruit trees, and breathtaking views…Just wonderful! The pool is very refreshing and well maintained. As it was pretty hot during our stay, the air conditioning in every bedroom at night offered restful sleeping, and the rest of the house stayed cool as well. We definitely hope to return one day and would recommend this house to any of our friends or family.

Nice holiday house with beautiful view.

We stayed in Villa Berici for a week in August with 7 people. Villa Berici is a big house with enough space for everyone. The beds are a bit hard but ok in most rooms. In one room the bed was definitely worn, you could feel the springs through the matras when lying down. The kitchen is big and has all tools necessary. The garden has a lot of nice places to sit. There is a nice lounge set in which to chill, a good dining table with enough chairs and 6 lounge beds to laze by the pool. The pool is small, but nice to cool down in. Unfortunately we had a storm during our stay, after which the water was left green and unswimmable so we couldn’t use it the rest of the week. The biggest asset of the house is the amazing view at the beautiful landscape surrounding the house. Contact with the owner was perfect: she always responded very quickly to our questions.

Lovely property. Easy entry, the owner contacted us with access details ahead of us arriving. Location: you’ll drive everywhere. We followed google maps in the car. Don’t. It will try to take you cross country! There is a path into the village but it’s a steep 25min walk back to the property and too warm (for us) in summer! Property: spacious and clean. Air conditioning in all the bedrooms. No aircon in the ground floor living areas and we missed it during the hot summer days! We liked the balcony area accessed from the bedroom. The kitchen is well supplied. We cooked a few times and all equipment / utensils were available. The bar area was a nice addition. There were lots of games available. Outside: nice to have table tennis and games. The covered sitting area was comfy. Lots of seating options. There were 4 recline loungers at the pool. The pool is small but great for cooling down. Large well maintained garden areas. A quiet location. There are lots of mosquitos as you might expect in the countryside. The owners kindly provided citronella candles. We kept indoors after dusk! Sossano: A quiet village. A nice takeaway pizzeria at the bottom of the hill. A couple of supermarket options. We drive to Vicenza and took the train to Verona and Venice.

most relaxing week in Italy

Frankly, this is paradise. Well kept house, lots of details (as lived in by owners, with being a rental in between). Some showing of the years but that adds to the character of the house. Had good sleep in bedrooms. Loved the patio and the view. Even the teenagers calmed down and gave their parents a relaxing week.

Die Villa ist ein echter Traum - herrliche Lage, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet mit vielen einladenden Sitzgruppen für jeden Anlass. Wir haben eine Woche dort genossen, in der gut ausgestatteten Küche viel gekocht und lange Abende im Garten genossen. Die Poebene liegt zu Füßen, und viele schöne Ausflugsziele sind schnell erreichbar. Und Cecilia rund um Buchung und Übergabe war immer so freundlich und schnell - thank you! Danke für eine traumhafte Woche - wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Great views and greathouse

We rented for 2 weeks with 3 young kids. Facilities are good and it’s great to have 2 fridges for keeping food and drinks cold. It’s pretty close to Verona and Piacenza and Venice if you want to do day trips. The area didn’t feel touristic and there are nice walk routes to go for walks or hikes. The pool was a bit on the small side which we knew beforehand but was large enough to refresh yourself during hot summer days. Thank you Cecilia for being a great host.

We love taking day/evening trips to Venice, Verona, Lake Garda & Mountains.
Locally my daughter and I cannot resist visiting Noventa and Montagnana Markets and enjoying an Aperol Spritz with our finds beside us.

Why they chose this property

My Father was born nearby and I have always found the Veneto Region so Culturely Rich, from Architecture to Folklore. I love this area as there is so much to see, do and taste. We visit the local Wine Cantinas for Venetos Prosecco, Pino Grigio with Soave being a short drive.
As a family we take in the local Festa & Sagra that are so well attended and a great way to spend an evening (see Facebook page: Villa Berici & local posters for details).

It's position provides panoramic views from the Mountains to the North to the Po Valley to the South; Euganean hills to the East & further Berici Hills to the West.
We have a Large Portico with outside living space to benefit from the views & A large wrap around Balcony ideal for that Breakfast treat! At Night The magic of lights in the Valley and a firework display whilst eating All fresco is a memorable experience. The location is ideal for day trips visiting Venice, Lake Garda, Verona & Mountains!
To make the experience richer & safer why not have your meals prepared by our local chef & be taken on day trips to Verona or Venice by our local Chauffeur!
