The villa is superb and very popular with guests year after year, so early booking is essential. With its own private pool and gardens the villa is very secure. The ground floor consists of kitchen and lounge, both with patio doors onto the terraces, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, both serviced by a family size bathroom. There is also a utility room with all your essentials and clothes drying area at the back. Upstairs you have a large bedroom with king size bed, family size ensuite bathroom, and large balcony with table/chairs. Outside you have BBQ area, sun terraces with 6 sun beds, 2 large umbrellas and outdoor dining table with pull over shade. During the evening the pool has lights and there are garden lights around the property.
It's in an ideal location, quiet on the evenings but just a 4-5 minute walk into the centre of the resort where you have many very good restaurants, bars [serving cocktails], play equipment for children and supermarkets. A few bars have children's entertainment as well as shows for adults. You can also walk to the local coves for snorkelling, swimming and fishing and the resort has its own Scuba Diving Centre and boat hire. There are a number of small sandy beaches with the main one being the Pirate's beach on the roundabout as you enter the resort.
Just 4km from the beautiful city of Ciutadella (walkable along the picturesque coast road in about 25 minutes), and surrounded by beaches, beautiful coves and rocky headlands, it's one of the island's most popular resorts.
The rest of the island is easily accessible by car or bus with regular services to Cuitadella - the island's capital in Roman times. Ciutadella is full of historic grandeur and architectural splendour, with narrow cobbled streets lined with trendy shops and designer boutiques. Its tempting waterside bars and restaurants overlook the stylish marina. Boat hire is also available there. Guests always say a visit to Ciutadella is a must!
A good night out is at the La Trot Races which are in resort, where you can place a 2 euro bet - don't expect the winnings to be life saving, or anything lavish - its all very simplistic.
It's not a must to have car hire when staying in this resort but there are local car hire companies in the resort if you want to explore the island for a few days.
