Casa Samar is a spectacular registered vacation rental property (VV) . It has been tastefully furnished and decorated. Panoramic views of the sea, from both the kitchen, the living room and two of the bedrooms. The air conditioned living room leads directly onto a large terrace with a 6x3m heated pool. Whilst very secluded and private, all the amenities that you require for a fabulous holiday are right on your doorstep. Less than 100m from the nearest supermarket and only 5 minutes walk down to the old town, whatever you want, you won’t have to go far. Beach towels are supplied to all guests .

Great location with everything you need close by but still very peaceful

Had a brilliant time with the family. Love the gated area that the villa is in. Very convenient for local supermarket and a few bars and within walking distance of Puerto Del Carmen. Perfect if you are looking for quiet holiday with easy access to busier resort a short walk away

Die Villa Samar ist absolut perfekt für einen gelungenen Urlaub: Sie ist sehr geräumig, nur ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom alten Hafen entfernt, vielen Restaurants und einem Supermarkt in nur 50 Metern. Ferner eine sehr schöne Promenade auch direkt in der Nähe, ein kleiner, aber netter Pool, beheizt (wir waren dort im Dezember und das Wasser war richtig warm), sehr gut isoliert und wirklich ruhig trotz der Nähe zu touristischen Orten, einer großen Terrasse mit schönem Blick. Gute Kommunikation mit Lynn vor und während unserem Aufenthalt. Insgesamt perfekt! Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Wonderful Villa

Just arrived back from a wonderful week in this Villa. Our grandsons loved the pool. The views to the ocean are lovely. Walking distance to restaurants and local supermarket. The villa itself has everything you need. Would highly recommend a visit to this island and Villa.

I fully endorse the positive comments, regarding this property, made by the previous reviewer. The villa was: clean; tastefully decorated; well maintained and equipped; spacious; cool and airy; quiet; and, convenient to supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops, and the old town. The large terrace and pool bask in the sun all day and they are totally private. The booking process was a breeze. Sheamus, the owner, responded promptly to enquiries and provided clear, comprehensive information in respect of: payment, the villa location, access, equipment operation, local restaurants. I would particularly recommend the Casa Cabana and Flat Boat restaurants. The latter is exceptionally good value. Many thanks to Sheamus for a superb, stress-free holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending this rental property.

Brilliant villa, just as described.

My wife and I have just spent an extremely enjoyable fortnight at Villa Samar. This was our second holiday at Samar having spent our honeymoon here in 2013 and every great memory from that time were reinforced by this visit. Having visited Lanzarote several times we no longer need to participate in all the tourist activities and visits so we spent a lot of time relaxing round the villa and pool in particular. Although there was only two of us the villa has plenty of room for for a family or 6 adults with all the facilities required for larger groups provided. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quite little gated cul-de-sac with great views of the ocean and harbour, yet within 30 yards of a Spar supermarket which stocks all self catering requirements. Also nearby are two UK run pub/restaurants both with good service, entertainment and a variety of beers both Spanish and UK. Next to the Spar is Mario's Pizzeria, one of our favorites on the island, providing informal dining, entertainment, great atmosphere and even English breakfasts Although out of the way, the Samar is only a 10 minute stroll downhill to the harbour, which provides countless bars and restaurants of multiple nationalities. If like me you get thirsty during the stroll there are a couple of bars to frequent on the way, I just can't resist a large San Miguel. Taxis back from the harbour, approx 3 Euros. Taxis into and out of the main resort are inexpensive and readily available. We were provided with all necessary information prior to our visit, and as our return flight was not until early evening and Samar was not booked for the the following week, the owners allowed us to use the Samar facilities until late in the afternoon which was a real bonus. Many thanks for that. Overall Samar is an excellent villa, very peaceful location yet within easy reach of evening entertainment elsewhere. I would recommend Samar to friends and family as long as they don't book the weeks I may want in the future. Vic Viveash
