Large Family House With Heated Pool And Panoramic Sea Views

This traditional Madeiran family house has wonderful views of the sea from the sunny garden and all south facing rooms. The heated swimming pool (7.9m x 5m x 1.4m deep) is available all year round - the heating cost is included in summer rental rates and costs an extra €20 per night during the low-priced season November to March.

Casa na Colina has easy, level access from the street level into the oak-floored sitting room with picture window and wood burning fireplace, ideal for cooler winter evenings. Sleeping up to 9 adults comfortably in 4 bedrooms plus a sofabed in the sitting room, it is good for couples or families. The master en-suite double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and main family bathroom are also on the entrance level.

A beautiful marble staircase leads to the lower floor where there is another en-suite double bedroom and the kitchen and dining area. From here doors lead out to the veranda and garden with its panoramic sea views offering peace and quiet.

The house is situated in a quiet suburb only 2 minutes drive from the Via Rapido which gives easy access to many of Madeira's attractions. A 10 minutes drive takes you to the sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants at Calheta marina. Other villages, with swimming areas and restaurants are also nearby.

There is parking for a small car on the front drive of the property. The road outside the house is not busy, so other (or larger) cars can easily park here.

The house is now under the management of Catarina Gouveia, who has many years experience in the tourist market. She lives in a nearby village and will be contactable during your stay if any problems develop. For guests staying for more than one week, she will provide a mid-holiday bedding change.

In order to provide a safe stay for you and your family, we make sure our cleaning standards meet the current needs of travellers. This will include the following actions:

Hand soap is provided in all bathrooms.
Hand sanitizer is available in the property upon arrival
All our towels and bed linen are washed at high temperatures using products that will kill 100% of germs.
We change all our linen and towels after every stay.
We buffer days in between stays to make sure the property can be aired and disinfected before the next guests arrive.
