Free Wi-Fi & English TV - A Short Stroll from Picturesque Peyia Village
About Mark Grover
My wife Julie and I live in Kent with our two teenagers. We have travelled extensively, Julie working overseas for many years. We purchased our apartment in anticipation of our children not wanting to come on holiday with us for much longer! We love spending quality time in Cyprus and really enjoy the relaxed pace and beautiful climate. We absolutely love Peyia with it’s friendly charm and great amenities. We've spent time really getting to know the village and we're sure that you'll love it as much as we do.
Mark Grover purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Mark Grover chose Peyia
We chose our apartment in Peyia as it's just a great village. It's very peaceful and relaxed, but with a selection of lovely friendly local tavernas. There's everything you need right on your doorstep; a couple of good supermarkets, a fabulous bakers, a pharmacy and a good butchers. There's even a gym!! Peyia is so close to Coral Bay and just a short drive into Paphos for a faster pace and a livelier night out. We love to eat outside and with such breathtaking views, this locations perfect. The beach at Coral Bay is beautiful, very clean with crystal clear water and the best things is that it’s lovely and shallow for the little ones. There's a cafe at either end of the bay or simply pack up the cool box in the apartment for a cheaper option. There really is something for everyone.
What makes this Apartment unique
Wake up everyday to beautiful views from the balcony looking out over to Paphos. Catch the sun all day on one balcony or you can cool off on the shaded balcony – so many choices! In the evening you can enjoy some fantastic sunsets. We absolutely love our apartment in Peyia. It’s located in a very relaxed and peaceful location yet just a short walk into the centre of the village. If you don't want to cook there's some great tavernas in Peyia offering a wide variety of choice, from traditional Cypriot meals to fish and chips. If you don't want to go out there's even an Indian take away. There's now a regular bus 616B from Peyia village square. Simply hop on and you'll be in Coral Bay in just a few minutes where you can pick up a connecting bus to Paphos Harbour and the Old Town.

Lovely apartment with amazing views
We arrived late at night and easily found the apartment following the owner's excellent directions. The apartment was just as shown in the photos - however, the best surprise was in the morning when we woke to amazing views from both balconies. The owners have thought of lots of touches that make you feel at home including the benefit of British TV. The property is in a village with plenty of bars and tavernas to suit everyone, but we would recommend a car to get about. Please note that there a quite a few steps to access the apartment and very steep steps to access the pool. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment and hope that we will be able to visit again before long.
Beautiful apartment with stunning views!
We absolutely loved this wonderful apartment. The owners gave very clear directions to the property and found it easily arriving at night time. From the moment we entered we felt at home. Spacious, bright and well equipped, we couldn't have asked for more. The two balcony's have stunning panoramic views down to Coral bay and beyond and also watch the sunset in the evenings. There were two sun loungers on one so we could sunbathe all day if we wanted. Bedroom was bright and the beds were so comfortable, iPod dock/radio was a nice touch too. Good WiFi and British TV channels were a bonus. The pool which was lovely is down lots of steps to the side of the property which was an effort to climb back up.
The apartment is in a peaceful setting and only an 8 minute walk to Peyia village with it's lovely bars, restaurants/taverna's and a well stocked supermarket. We recommend Cafe Grande restaurant (pork chops are to die for) with a lively atmosphere and lovely staff. The Mill bar is a great place for drinks and lively chats. The Jail pub is good too. More bars/ restaurants around also and are quite traditional, some a further 5-10 mins walk down the hill. We recommend hiring a car (as we did) to get around the whole region with plenty of beautiful places to visit. Coral bay 5 mins, Paphos 10-15 mins, Latchi 30 mins, Baths of Aphrodite 40 mins... Locally taxis or buses are easily accessible for Coral Bay or Paphos which are quite lively.
On our last day of 7 nights we didn't want to leave. We had a late flight and the owner Mark allowed us to have a late checkout with no charge which was fantastic. The owners were very informative and helpful throughout the booking process and stay.
We will definitely be booking to come and stay in this wonderful apartment in the near future.
Thank you Mark & Julie for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment.

Really comfortable apartment with amazing view
What a great place. Comfortable and has everything you need. Great to have the two balconies. Owner very helpful and accommodating. managing agent in Cyprus was lovely.
We stayed at this apartment for 7 nights, arriving late at night. It was pretty easy to find, taking us about 40 minutes from Paphos airport (we used Google maps) and in a great location with fantastic panoramic views of the houses below and further on to coral bay. Close to Peyia village, it took us about 15 minutes to walk, where there was a couple of banks, restaurants (we recommend cafe grande) and a couple of supermarkets. Further down the road there is a nice English chip shop, we had breakfast at Harris restaurant which was lovely. Both Coral Bay Beach and Coralia Beach were lovely. The apartment itself is ideal, with everything you need, if you need to cook there were plenty of pots and pans, the TV had British channels which was great when the weather wasn't so good! It was also a nice touch to have a few essentials available (suncream, mosquito repellant etc.) The 2 balconies were great, one is covered which would be ideal if it was really hot outside. The place was also very clean with modern decor. We definitely recommend and will visit again!
