Our Lefkadian-French family built this house as a tribute to traditional local architecture, using natural materials from the ground, and the skills we had inherited.

Why they chose this property

We bought the land in 2001, having fallen in love with its location and views, secluded and yet close to everything. We started building it in 2002 with the arrival of our first child and achieved in 2006 with our 3rd.
We've been renting from 2007, enjoying very much what has now become our main activity, giving all our attention to improve our offer from one year to another, and sharing the best experiences of rental with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Ideal for 2-3 families or a group of friends, melivaro covers all holiday needs: activities with its direct access to sea and mountains sports (best wind, kitesurf and paraglidding spots), 10 to 40 minutes drive to the West coast's most famous beaches (Pefkoulia, Milos, Kathisma, Kalamitsi, Eggremni, Porto Katsiki,...) 10 min drive to town for its colorful narrow streets, museums, churches, theater, dance, concerts, exhibitions, shopping, or wanderings in the villages,... If you only want to rest: you'll enjoy the views from the shadowed terraces surrounding the house and the pool area. The atmosphere and the breathtaking scenery will relax you from the first moment, and the level of comfort will match all your expectations while leaving the smallest possible environmental footprint.
