2-bed Villa with Private Pool and Panoramic Views

Newly upgraded bathroom (2024) in wet-room style as well as upgraded bedrooms , windows and shutters. A pallet burned installed for winter comfort. It is a 2-bedroom villa situated at the highest part of Praia da Luz. A car is recommended, as although the beach is only a 15-minute walk, it's a steep walk home! If you prefer it's a sub 10 euro taxi/Uber ride, your choice! Casa LaLa has a private pool and is located in a peaceful, residential area. There is a balcony off the lounge with sea and rooftop views. A table and chairs are provided. A BBQ is provided in the purpose designed "Pool area". A table, chairs and sun beds are situated around the pool with a sun-shade and outside shower for your comfort. There are 2 fans available for when the weather is really warm, which is most of the time. Shutters on the windows and doors enable fresh air and give extra security. The high wall surrounding the garden provides privacy and security. There is a strong 'child-proof' lockable gate at the rear of the outside pool area.

Family vacations

First time in Portugal and assuringly not the last. Casa Lala is in itself worth it all. After a day of exploring the surroundings, nothing better than sip a little glass of wine by the pool while the kids play. We deconnected to reconnect. Awesome property, very well located and very welcoming.

This was our 6th stay at the Casa Lala . Again we had a fantastic two week holiday. The Villa is lovely and private with a nice pool , outside BBQ , upstairs and downstairs accommodation and kitchen. Would highly recommend this Villa for visiting Prais de Luz and surrounding areas .

Fab villa and hol

Just got back from a week at this lovely villa. Fab pool and views and although it is quite a walk from praia da luz town that didn't really bother us as we are happy to walk and it was only £3.80 when we did get a taxi. Lovely place and quiet area. Had a great time

We had a lovely stay at Villa LaLa just a few weeks ago. The location suited us well - out of the village, but within walking distance for dinners, etc. The pool was lovely and poolside area brilliant! Very private and able to sit in sun all day or take cover in the shade if that is your preference. The use of owners pool inflatables made for a very fun pool-time! We also like the fact that there were several dining tables to choose to eat at, on nights when we stayed in and bar-be-qued.

Did the job

Served the purpose in that it was near our friends' property. We had an enjoyable stay. Given 4 stars as there were some mosaic tiles missing from the pool and some weeds in the garden. Didnt alert at the time as it would have been unlikely for pool tiles to be replaced during our short stay. Thank you.

Just home after a fantastic 2 weeks stay at Casa Lala. The villa was lovely and clean and surprisingly cool at night time. Clive the host was in contact to ensure we had everything and any queries we had were answered straight away. He recommended a transfer service from the airport who was waiting as we stepped off the plane. Due to the late time of our flight , Clive arranged a welcome pack (for a small fee) which ment we did not have to rush out and but the essentials. Will definitely be returning to Casa Lala.

A casa está muito bem situada, só é pena estar realmente em mau estado. o piso estava muito sujo, tanto dentro como fora de casa. O piso de volta da piscina estava tão danificado que o meu filho se magoou no primeiro dia e continuou sempre a dar no mesmo sitio ate virmos embora. A piscina estava suja quando chegamos tive que a limpar, assim como o piso.

Bon emplacement. Maison fraîche et agréable Rafraîchissement est souhaitable:carrelages cassés dans salon et autour de la piscine, portes à ajuster car frottements, tiroirs des commodes à ajuster, deux panneaux de séparation au niveau de la piscine ne tiennent plus. Visites de fourmis dans chambres et sdb. Ai payé 25 euros pour explications sur place mais code internet et type de modem avait été changé avant notre arrivée; dès lors il était normal qu'une employée devait se rendre sur place afin de nous donner les codes d'accès; ces 25 euros ne me paraissent pas justifiés.

LAS MEJORES VACACIONES

La relación calidad - precio es perfecta. La casa está muy bien ubicada para explorar la zona sur de Portugal. Los servicios que ofrece son buenos, excepcional la zona de patio con piscina. Aunque por dentro no está reformada del todo, la casa tiene encanto, las camas y el sofá cama son muy cómodos. Para nosotros lo principal es dormir bien y tener espacio. Por eso la estancia ha sido la mejor en los años que llevamos viajando. Las instrucciones para entrada y salida han sido correctas. Clive se ha preocupado de que estuviéramos bien atendidos y al mismo tiempo nos ha dejado tranquilidad, a nuestro aire. Otro aspecto muy positivo es la renovación de ropa de cama y toallas, no todos ofrecen este servicio incluido en el precio. Agradecemos muchísimo la atención y esperamos volver pronto!

Super contente mais beaucoup de vent les joue de notre séjour

La dame qui s’occupe de nous super gentil adorable 5* mais la maison aurait besoin de nouvelle fenêtres et porte d’entrée car laisse passe beaucoup de vent et de bruit et le congélateur à l’entrée fait du bruit durant la nuit aussi si non maison super d’image pour le vent. Merci

House cleaning needs improvement

The pool and outdoor area was fabulous, however the bathrooms need a good clean and there is black mould in the cupboards under the sink. This meant the kitchen smelled musty. The linen was old and needs replacing. Cobwebs need to be removed before guests arrive.

I will address the cleaning and cob-web issues with the management company. I'm not sure what Linen you had as most was brand new this season so I will check that out too. Second time here

This is our second visit to this property.Perfect for our needs. The only reason for marking down on cleanliness was that there were quite a few cobwebs about the place which are noticeable against the white walls but by no means a dirty property. We had an issue with both showers which Clive had replaced in less than 24 hours which was impressive and appreciated

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at our property. We are a small family of 4 and have owned the property since Oct. 2008. We visit as often as we are able and are pleased the children, now young adults do so also with or without us!

In Portugal Luz offers everything a family needs for a great holiday and of course a dedicated private swimming pool. Golf courses close by.

We have made the properties a home from home but with a local feel. We enhance them each year in order to retain high standards. Major upgrade completed June 2024.

Why they chose this property

Casa LaLa ticked all the right boxes for us. It is located in a quiet residential area - ideal for relaxing, but is near enough to the beach and restaurants to get the real holiday feel of the resort. Short journeys can put you in the heart of rural communities, hills or national parkland. The sandy beach in Luz is safe – ideal for families – and being surrounded by golf courses is a real bonus. Praia da Luz is an ideal family resort which we have fallen in love with.

What makes this property unique

The overriding benefit of Casa LaLa is its lovely private pool. The surrounding patio area has been fully tiled and is nonslip. We have purposely raised the surrounding walls to provide privacy and security. Small children will not be able to negotiate the gate and 'escape'. The panorama is 360 degrees, with views of the sea, village rooftops and mountains in one direction; and countryside and the beautiful sunset in the other. We renew equipment as often is necessary in order to retain high standards.
