Olive Tree Villa Sleeps 4/5. In the lively Greek village of Lardos Near Pefkos and Lindos. Fantastic views and not far from the beaches

Great private pool easy access and outdoor shower, with large sun terraces and sunbeds wonderful views and lots of shade. The village is busy and only 5 minutes walk to the square. Lovely villa in Lardos

Lovely villa with its own pool which is a really good plus side. Owner communication excellent. Lardos village is great and has plenty to do there really comes alive of an evening.

Spent a lively week at Olive Tree Villa, great location on the outskirts of Lardos but easy to walk into village with Lindos about a 15 min drive away. Communication with the owner was spot on and villa was exactly what we wanted for a quiet break.

Beautiful and peaceful

The pool and outside area was absolutely perfect. It was quiet and peaceful at all times. It was a very short flat 5 minute walk into Lardos which had plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. The accommodation itself was great, plenty of room and had everything that you could need. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Lovely villa

We had a lovely week at Olive tree villa. The villa had everything we needed, home from home. Lardos village had a great selection of tavernas and we got to know some of the friendly locals. We had great communication with Pamela. Hope to be back again one day.

Fantastic holiday in Rhodes

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Lardos. Communication with Villa owner was easy from start to finish. Location of the villa was perfect, you can walk into the village easily with plenty of choices of places to eat and drink. Lovely private setting for the villa with no one overlooking you. Plenty of outside space to relax in the sun and shade too! Thanks again, look forward to coming back.

Lovely quiet villa in a peaceful location

We really enjoyed our stay at Olive Tree Villa. It's in a very quiet location, with the very occasional car going past, total privacy in the garden and pool area, yet just a few minutes walk from Lardos with shops / restaurants / bars etc. Nice and clean, and everything we might need including inflatables for the pool! Communication with Pam was excellent, and she was very flexible with our times - as we had a late flight we were able to stay longer (as the next arrival wasn't the same day). The beds are very comfortable, and the shower mostly fine - a couple of low pressure afternoons and one morning with no water, but that was due to an issue with a pump locally, and it was perfect after that got resolved. The kids loved the pool - perfect depth for my 11 year old to practice handstands in the water, and a good enough size to swim around. Lots of outside seating as well, with plenty of shade as well as opportunities for lounging in the sun. Lardos is a great location as well, just an hour from Rhodes airport, very close to Lindos, and an amazing hours drive through stunning scenery across the island to the beautiful castles on the other coast. I would highly recommend anyone else to stay here, thanks Pam!

Book NOW! Beautiful villa with fantastic pool and outdoor space

We stayed at Olive Tree Villa 24/07 - 31/07 and it was perfect. When we arrived the place was brilliantly equipped: clean, fully air conditioned and towels provided. The inside is spacious and tastefully designed whilst the outside is divided into various pretty outdoor areas - suitable for eating meals in the shade, sunbathing or just relaxing. The pool was beautiful - just the right size and plenty of deck chairs surrounding it. As we arrived at night we were welcomed with fairy lights along the outside of the wall! Overall this villa is a wonderful place and made our stay in Rhodes 5 stars. Our top places we visited were Anthony Quinn Bay (about 40 mins away) - beautiful turquoise water although very busy, St Pauls Bay (much nearer, about 10-15 mins) - a lovely quieter little bay with nice sun beds, The acropolis of Lindos and Lindos itself, Parasailing at Tsambika Beach (great fun!), Faliraki Waterpark and of course Lardos itself which is a small, vibrant town with a great selection of restaurants. We went to 'Greek Night' in the town and loved it. There are 2 donkeys living just across the road which we enjoyed saying hello to. Lardos is also full of cats roaming the streets! During our stay Pamela made sure everything was right, she was a great host. Have recommended this villa to our friends and family. Thank you! Annie

Very nice villa in Lardos, the villa has a great pool and a great lounge area. Inside there are 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs. Lots of things to see and do in the area. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help.

Fantastic holiday

My husband and I have visited Rhodes many times, but this villa was superb for facilities and location with a five minute walk into Lardos where there are many friendly bars and restaurants. Pamela was a lovely host, friendly and nothing to much trouble, even setting up second room for a visit from our family while they were in Rhodes. Would definetly recommend this villa and a visit to Rhodes ❤️

Die Lage ist optimal. Alles für den täglichen Gebrauch (Lebensmittel,, Bäcker, etc.) zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Haus ist im ganzen gut ausgestattet inklusive Küche. Allerdings duschen war nicht möglich. Der Duschkopf über die Badewanne ist defekt, das Wasser läuft überall aber nicht aus dem Duschkopf. Ich finde einfach schade.

The most relaxing holiday EVER!

I HONESTLY cannot think of a single negative to write! The villa catered our every need. It was clean, tidy and spacious for our family of 4, and in a beautifully tranquil and picturesque village. We are DEFINITELY rebooking to visit Olive Tree Villa again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

Sehr komfortables Haus, ruhig am Dorfrand gelegen.

Das Haus hat zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer, eine gut ausgestattete Küche (nur der Geschirrspüler fehlt) und ein Wohnzimmer mit bequemen Sofas. Da es immer warm genug war, konnten wir alle Mahlzeiten draussen auf dem Sitzplatz geniessen. Der Pool ist eher klein, eignet sich nicht zum Längen schwimmen, aber ist gut zum Abkühlen. Das Dorf hat uns super gefallen, Lardos hat einen sehr lebendigen Dorfplatz mit super guten Restaurants und gemütlichen Bars. Es hat zwei Supermarkets, Apotheke, Metzgerei, .... Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic!

It was our first trip to Rhodes and we will definitely be returning. Olive Tree Villa was perfect! Everything we needed and more. Beautifully clean and very well maintained. The setting was gorgeous, quiet, with just the odd goat wandering by. Nearby Lardos village a 5 mins stroll was delightful. Good bars/restaurants and shops for all the essentials. Fantastic Villa

We had a fantastic stay at the Olive Tree Villa. The villa was lovely and clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We travelled with a young baby and Pam made sure that we had everything we needed for him. The villa is in a great location - very peaceful but only a short walk to the village square where you will find some great restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend this villa and we would book again in the future.

A little gem, has everything you need!!

This villa is a little gem that is located in Lardos greece. The villa itself has everything you need and within a ten minute walk you have supermarkets, bars, restaurants, gift shops, butchers, bakery and even a flower shop. Lardos is an unspoilt area and you get a real feel for the greek culture, loved it!! The food served in the restaurants was gorgeous and we sampled some fab cocktails....We especially loved drinks in yamas bar!! The villa was lovely and clean on arrival and it has all the facilities like you would have at home including washing machine. The pool is gorgeous, perfect size, kept clean and it feels like getting in a warm bath on those very hot days. Our 4 year old daughter spent every day in the pool and loved it!! There are plenty of beds around the pool and places to sit and relax. The views are fantastic and the local people are very welcoming and friendly. We cant wait to return again next year!! Thankyou for letting us into your holiday home Pam!! Xxx

Extremely well equipped, catering for all our needs. Very clean, and great outside space and pool. Plenty of sunbeds, and loved the snug area for an early evening drink before going out. Located 5 minutes from Lardos square with our favourite bar Memories, and restaurants Valentina's, and Roulas where we never had a bad meal. Small ghekko outside was lovely to watch, and outside fridge was a bonus to avoid walking through house for cold drink. Beaches are also lovely and not too far to plakia, Glystra, and Pefkos by car. Olive Tree Villa thankyou for being a home from home, we will return.

Fabulous

Can't really remember who many visits we have taken to The Olive Tree Villa, but each time we go it seems to get better. Lovely, peaceful villa, great accommodation, comfortable beds, airy rooms, well equipped kitchen and best of all, a private pool! What more can you want? Lardos itself is a very friendly village and only a very short walk from the front door of The Olive Tree. Great bars, well established restaurants and a new restaurant, Kavos Taverna, also well worth a visit. Spent 2 weeks here this time and returning on 31st August for yet another 2 weeks. What ,more needs to be said? Thanks Pam, Kev and Jennifer xx

Brilliant

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa - very comfortable, clean, well equipped and peaceful. Ideal location on the edge of the village - just a few minutes walk to the centre with shops and some good restaurants. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Olive Tree Villa

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to this villa. The villa is very well furnished, equipped and clean. The rear garden and pool have beautiful open views to the hills beyond. Lardos village has everything you need to self cater plus several very good restaurants and is only a 5-10 min level walk. Pam, the owner, has many repeat guests and it's easy to see why. We recommended it to family who visited for the first time this Summer. They have already booked for next year.

A Very Special Villa

Olive Tree Villa sits next to an olive grove, overlooking beautiful scenery and mountains and is wonderfully peaceful and rural, but is within 10 minutes walking distance of the delightful village of Lardos. The villa is spotlessly clean and very well equipped and furnished. The aircon is welcome in summer and extremely quiet. The people of Lardos are lovely, relaxed and kind and the food in the nearby restaurants is wonderful. It’s also so easy to hop on a bus from the village to pretty Lindos or fascinating Rhodes town (both not to be missed). You don’t necessarily need to hire a car, and taxis are freely available in the village. The travel agent in the village will also book excursions, including a coach trip to Rhodes Town. There are also 3 supermarkets within a 10 minute walk (including a Carrefour Express). We have already booked a return visit to Rhodes and this beautiful little corner of Lardos.

Brilliant!

Not all descriptions of hotels, villas and apartments are as accurate as the owners claim.....in this Villa you get exactly what is said. Start with Lardos....lovely, friendly sociable village, Yamas Bar, Roulas Restaurant to name but two places, are wonderful. Am amazed that staff actually remember you from previous years. Bus service available to Rhodes and Lindos, good position for the village makes Lardos a great base. Lardos resort and beach both very nearby and both worth a visit. Short trip both to Pefkos and Lindos, only 5 and 10 minutes away by taxi that is easily obtainable in Lardos square. Onto the Villa, the description on the web site says it all. Fully fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer, dining room table and all the utensils you could ever wish for, we did make great use of the bottle opener!! Lounge has sofas, TV and DVD player, air conditioned with sliding doors to a patio which gives shade if and when required. Bedrooms are bright and airy both air conditioned with plenty of storage space. The safe is handy . Outside the pool is lovely, lit at night and cool during the day. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas should you want to escape the sun. Nice BBQ which gets plenty of use when the sun drops. There are two patio areas which can be used to have a rest from the sun and watch the donkey in the adjoining field. The view from the pool is across a dried river bed to a mountain in the distance, lovely to look at but perhaps not for walking up!! The pool is cleaned twice a week and contact numbers are there for the couple who look after the Villa. The villa is cleaned on your arrival and sparkles. I would, and have recommended this Villa to friends and family and would not hesitate to do so again. Brilliant and roll on August 2014!! All in all, a great Villa in a great location, a credit to Pam and Kevin.

Bee-eater heaven

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa, beautiful pool and everything you could possible need is provided. The location is superb, beautiful scenery on the edge of lovely Lardos with its ample choice of restaurants, would particularly recommend Roulas for wonderful food & friendliness of Roula and her brother Yannis. We were a party of 4 adults with a particular interest in birds and wild flowers, the sound of the bee-eaters flying round the villa will be a constant memory of our holiday. We had a car for the week, arranged through George Cars as recommended by Pam, the villa is ideally situated for visiting many beautiful areas on Rhodes. We would highly recommend Olive Tree villa for a relaxing holiday in a lovely area.

Tranquil

We have had a fantastic week. The villa has everything you could possible need. Lovely setting, total privacy. Pool is gorgeous and air conditioning an added bonus. Pam is so friendly and helpful from recommendation for car hire, directions from the airport, places of interest, best beaches and where to eat. Lardos is a traditional Greek village. Great place to eat is Roulas, people really friendly and so laid back. The perfect retreat to de stress, soak up the sun and enjoy a slower pace of life. Loved it and did not want to come home. Our daughter loved the donkeys who lived next door. It was a daily adventure feeding them, by the end of the week they greeted her every time she passed the field. It was lovely to see all the trees growing olives, limes and figs. And you have to try the ouzo. Would highly recommend this villa, which is within walking distance of Lardos. Thank you so much to Pam for sharing this little piece of paradise.

Lardos is appealing because of the village setting and the amazing village life and its very friendly people. The position of the villa is stunning with panoramic 360 degree views and this alone makes it stand out from all other properties for rent in the village. The family of donkeys live along the lane and it is a bird watchers paradise. This lovely villa is beside an olive grove and an orchard and vineyard. A short walk brings you to Loukas Monastery maintained to a high standard by the owner

Fantastic location in a lively Greek village, views from the villa over the countryside and mountains. Easy reach of several lovely beaches. The village has several bars, some lively music bars such as Memories and some traditional bars, also several great tavernas and restaurants with high standard of menu and also traditional Greek dishes, try Roulas. There is a cash point, 2 supermarkets, 2 butchers, two bakeries a fish shop, pharmacy, and several other small shops, a taxi rank,and a regular bus service. Very friendly and happy Greek village folk who give everyone a warm welcome. The villa was completed in 2009 and is of a high standard with its own pool with easy access roman steps Both bedrooms have their own large terraces, ideal for private sun bathing.

What makes this property unique

Ideal for sun lovers, walkers, and for peace and quiet although night life is only a few miles away in Lindos. The South of the island is very picturesque and green and the beaches are excellent, some small some large, almost all soft sand and gently sloping into turquoise water. Local beaches offer water sports from banana boats and para gliding to water skiing and wind surfing. Rhodes Town has boat trips to several surrounding islands and to Turkey.Rhodes Town also offers excellent shopping but is primarily a World Heritage Site because of its 'old town' and its medieval walls and castle where the Knights Templars lived.
