Located in the hills above Coral Bay this spacious property is beautifully furnished, decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The 2nd floor apartment is one of only six in a quiet, 2 storey block forming part of the popular Desire Gardens complex with its own covered car park. Our apartment has fantastic sea views from its stunning private roof terrace and garden, and is a 5 minute drive from the coast. On the roof terrace we have a wonderful splash shower so that you can cool off whilst sunbathing on our reclining sunbeds, it also has a table with umbrella that seats six and a barbeque for al fresco dining. The site has a very large private communal pool with sunbeds, umbrellas, poolside toilet and shower facilities, all set in mature gardens. Peyia is a charming village a short 10 minute walk away, with excellent bars, restaurants, banks, post office, supermarkets, bakeries, police station, doctor and pharmacy. Pafos, a World Heritage site, with all its historical attractions is a mere 12km from the apartment. In the other direction, you will discover the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, a wildlife haven, and over the picturesque hills some of the most beautiful and deserted beaches on the island.

Fantastic property located in the heart of Peyia village with a number of bars and restaurants in walking distance, however you do need a car to get around. The property has a wonderful roof terrace with amazing views all around. Everything you need is in the property which makes it really convenient. The beds are super comfy and the ceiling fans keep you cool at night, even in the high temperatures of July. We really enjoyed our stay at the property and would definitely return. Thank you for allowing us to rent the property.

Great outdoor space

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It has two great outside spaces with good views over Peyia and down to the sea. It is a 10-15 min (rather hilly) walk to the top of Peyia with plenty of bars and restaurants and a decent supermarket. We had plenty of information from the owner beforehand which made finding and accessing the apartment a breeze. Having a covered parking space is a super bonus, keeping the car cool! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, highly recommended.

We had a fantastic week. The apartment is well equipped although there is very little kitchen workspace. A long and very hilly walk into peyia. Definitely you need a car. Lovely solarium with bbq, we spent many a night up there enjoying the sunsets. Would definitely consider coming back . Owner was brilliant with communication and even allowed us a late check out.

Another lovely couple of weeks in Pegeia, the apartment and the owner as always didn't disappoint and we felt most welcome and at home from the minute we arrived. Well appointed apartment with everything you would need for your stay, beautiful views to the sea and the mountains we spent most of our time on the balcony. You can walk to peyia village but it’s very hilly! Would recommend hiring a car to visit the area and beyond.

This is our second visit to this property. The apartment is exactly as described and is in a good location with the centre of Peyia and its good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Ideal Apartment

The property was exactly as described and was ideal for our stay in Cyprus. The owner was easily contactable and provided fully detailed information relating to the use of the property. Although it was an apartment it was very spacious internally with a linked outdoor area. The real bonus was that the property was on the upper level of a 2-storey building and also had the benefit of a large roof level outdoor area with loungers and other facilities.

We were not disappointed.

Although we know Pegeia very well we were not familiar with this part of the area when we booked. Everything was as we hoped it might be, very welcoming, clean, well equipped and it felt more like a home that we were visiting rather than a letting property. The owners were most accommodating with the arrival/departing times and the most testing question when reviewing is always "would we come again"? The answer is most definitely "yes".

We stayed at Desire Gardens a complex just a little outside the village of Peyia. We were there for our wedding/honeymoon and stayed for a month. As soon as we arrived we were shocked at the size of the apartment (huge) ! We couldn't have been happier but do bare in mind this is not a village to go if you have mobility issues, the hills are , well v.steep. But it does have everything you need. Thanks to Janie (the owner) who was so helpful with WiFi issue and very kindly left us a bottle of champagne 🍾 ( sweet of her and Raymond) Thanks for a wonderful stay x

The property itself was excellent and the facilities within and surrounding were as described in all the other reviews. For me personally I would have liked to have seen an air-con unit in the main living area as well. Because whilst there was a fan unless you were under it in the seating area it was very warm and humid. But the rest of the apartment was excellent. The only other thing of note were the residents immediately below us who I believe live there. They have two dogs who whilst were quiet at night time, during the day they would constantly bark at anyone walking by or if they heard us in our balcony. This for me I felt disturbed the peace and quiet on too many occasions. Overall though a lovely apartment and Janie the owner would respond very quickly to any queries. I would stay there again but only if the two things I have mentioned were dealt with.

Wonderful apartment with awesome roof terrace

Having visited Peyia on several occasions this was our first stay at this apartment. This apartment was absolutely perfect for us. The secluded roof terrace with its awesome views was probably our favourite place to be. The large swimming pool was quiet and there were plenty of sun beds to go around. The apartment itself is very well equipped with everything you need, a real home from home. We were very pleased that the kingsize bed was so comfortable! Also the undercover parking was a real bonus and kept the car nice and cool. A short 10 min walk into the heart of Peyia village for a selection of restaurants and bars or a 10 minute drive to Coral Bay for a wider choice. Thank you Janie for sharing your lovely apartment with us. We will be back for sure!

Desire Gardens - Jacarnda appartment

We had an amazing time in Cyprus. The location of the apparment, Peyia, was ok: quiet town not too far from Paphos and other bigger cities to go and eat something. Also close to the sea, we could see the sea from our appartment. Appartment itself was ok, 2 bedrooms, big living room and small kitchen, bathroom with bath / douche / wc, terrace with a roof, on second floor another terrace with a splash shower. Lot's of fun things to do: buggy ride in Akamas (full day) with swim stops to spot sea turtles and to snorkle in the blue lagoon, Avakas gorge, Troodos mountains with Caledonia waterfall and waterparc Aphrodite in Paphos. We also drove all the way to Green bay to spot sea turtles, long drive, but worthwhile, we saw them, in the morning. Conclusion: Cyprus is a very nice holiday spot - we advise you to go there! Die Wohnung ist ganz in Ordnung, sollte aber nicht als Luxus Apartment beworben werden. Statt einer Adresse gibt es gefühlt eine Schnitzeljagt, echt nervig nach einer langen Anreise. Sucht bei maps nach: Desire Gardens Townhouse F5, dann seit ihr an der Anlage. Die rote Leder-Couch im Wohnbereich hat eher ausgedient, als dass sie an Luxus erinnert, aber man kann darauf sitzen (ist halt durchgesessen und älter). Die Schlafbereich sind klimatisiert, allerdings kann man die Klimaanlage nicht durchgehend laufen lassen, sondern maximal 2h, denn die Stromzufuhr wird über eine Zeitschaltuhr realisert, sehr nervig. Dazu ist der Wohn-Essbereich nicht klimatisiert und es war jetzt im Juli viel zu warm in dem Bereich. Da hat der Deckenventilator nicht viel gebracht. Über eine Innentreppe kommt man auf die Dachterrasse. Wir konnten sie gar nicht nutzen, denn die Treppe geht sehr steil um 180 nach oben, so dass im Kurvenbereich die Stufen sehr schmal und eng sind und es für unseren kleinen Kindern zu gefährlich gewesen wäre, hier hoch und hinunter zu gehen. Das Badezimmer war okay. Etwas stock- und schimmelflecken am Silikon und auch schon etwas optisch in die Jahre gekommen, aber ausreichend für einen Urlaub. Störend fanden wir die Handbrause der Dusche, da der Strahl nicht verstellbar war und dieser sehr fein verteilt und hart herauskam, was sich dann wie tausend nadelstiche angefühlt hat. Die Küchenschränke schließen teilweise nicht. Ansonsten alles da, was man braucht. Boden klebte.

Our property is family owned and is a much loved home from home. The children have enjoyed going over since being babies and now that they are older it has been great to also have their friends come over and spend time with us too. Over the years we have made some wonderful friends in the local area, and with so much to do, everyone is able to pursue their own interests. We have endeavoured to make our property a real haven, furnishing it with care and consideration, so that when we go over for a holiday we can totally relax in comfort and at ease. We are delighted that all the guests who have stayed, have also had this experience.

Why they chose this property

We have been holidaying in Cyprus since 2000. It is because we all enjoy our time there so much, and find the Cypriot people extremely warm and friendly, that we decided to buy a property of our own. Peyia is a lovely village set on the hillside overlooking Coral Bay to the South and to the East, Pafos Town. The village is typically relaxed, with excellent amenities including several very well stocked supermarkets, banks, butchers, bakeries, post office, police station and some superb restaurants and bars. There is also a doctor, dentist and pharmacy. Peyia is only 35 mins from Pafos Airport, 12km from historic Pafos town and 5 mins drive from the lively Coral Bay resort. A place where you can have a fantastically relaxing and rejuvenating family holiday.

What makes this property unique

Our apartment is large, airy and quiet with stunning views of the Mediterranean from our private roof terrace and garden. There is nothing lovelier than sipping a long cold drink whilst watching the sunset over the hills; the twilight sky a canvas of fantastic colours, different every evening! As night falls the sky is full of stars, and the lights of Coral Bay, Pafos Town in the distance and the local villages, dot the darkness with their luminescence. For the day time, the complex boasts the largest pool in Peyia, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, so if you are not out seeing the many cultural delights on offer, you can relax on a sunbed, under an umbrella and catch some rays! But if you need to check your emails we provide Wifi and if you need to keep abreast of your favourite programs - Internet TV too. As well as board games and cards we have a large library of books if you need to take a rest from the sun.
