Riverside Lodge is a spacious, 2 bedroom farm casita set in an idyllic area of this beautiful Catalunian countryside and benefits from mains electricity. The garden area has a barbecue/eating area, Private round swimming pool alongside a sunbathing area, tree swings for both youngsters. For those who want to experience fishing on the famous River Ebro, we have a private, well established, fishing swim with perfect depth and pace for catching a variety of fish, including the famous giant Ebro catfish. This holiday destination benefits from peace and tranquility although is a short distance, via a well maintained, tarmac farm road (3.4klm) from the warm and friendly village of Benifallet. You will find bars, restaurants, a grocery, bakery, a butchers and more to cater for your every need. The nearest beach is approx 30 mins away. Locally there is rambling, cycling, the local caves, guided fishing, bird watching, kayaking, river boat trip and so much more. It's an amazing location for all ages, family friendly. Please note that our facilities are sadly not adequate to cater for those who have physical and /or mental disabilities of all ages.

La casa está bastante lejos del pueblo y no está vallada, pero el entorno es precioso rodeado de montañas y a pocos metros tiene un pequeño embarcadero propio. La propietaria es muy atenta y viene cada dos días a limpiar la piscina.

Hemos pasado una estancia muy tranquila en la casa de Benifallet. La casa en si es muy basica pero tiene las comodidades suficientes si lo que buscas es calma y desconexion total. Tener la piscina privada con esas vistas maravillosas a la montana es un verdadero plus. Y Claire, la propietaria, es muy simpatica y sonriente y ha estado siempre muy disponible. Muchas gracias Claire por todas las recomendaciones!

Super location pour un superbe endroit. Je suis venu pour le cadre en famille et pour le repos et c etait tres bien. Le lieu était fidèle à l annonce et les propriétaires très accueillant et très gentils... Je n ai pas péché donc pas d avis la dessus, on a juste profité de la tranquilité de ce coin perdu !

We moved to Benifallet in Dec 2003 with our 2 young children and started out a new adventure abroad. Rob has fished the River Ebro since 1998 & always wanted to start up his own guided fishing business which is exactly what we did. We started out with a boat and have built up our client list over the years, mostly due to word of mouth, which we take great pride in. Our passion for this beautiful area resulted in us buying and renovating this 2 bedroom farm bungalow, the neighbouring farm casita and a 2 bedroom village house, so others can enjoy and experience this breath taking area of Cataluna. We look forward to welcoming new and old customers to our adventures.

Why they chose this property

Why did we buy this farm? The scenery, the friendly locals, the River, the fresh air, the tranquility, I could go on forever. We fell in love with Benifallet instantly & craved a retreat we could go to for weekends, we found Riverside Lodge after 2 years of searching for the idea property. And by luck Riverside Place came up for sale in 2012 which is situated right next door.The area is perfect to get away to relax & ideal because it is such a short distance from the main village if you want to mix with other people or locals. The main reasons we bought this property was due to having mains electricity, good tarmac road access & access to private fishing rights. We bought Riverside Place for the same reasons as Riverside Lodge & its perfectly situated right next door for bigger groups bookings.

What makes this property unique

One of the main benefits to this property is having the most amazing all round views. You can make this holiday what you want. Quiet tranquility throughout your total stay or mix this with the friendliness of the village life or venture out further afield. Or enjoy the local sports activities. This area is filled with many surprises suitable for all walks of life. And not forgetting the private pool & private well established fishing swim into the famous River Ebro.
