Villa in Hisaronu, Oludeniz, Aegean Region, Turkey - Tranquil Location, But 5 Minutes From All Shops, Bars And Restaurants Of Hisaronu
About Joy McAllister
I fell in love with Oludeniz, Fethiye and Hisaronu from my first holiday there in 2002. I felt at home with the people there and decided to invest in a beautiful holiday home in Hisaronu where I could go back time after time and also meet my friends who have also invested in the region. Once people have holidayed in the area they come back time after time. I have made my villa home from home and are grateful for the repeat business I get as well.
Joy McAllister purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Joy McAllister chose Hisarönü Mahallesi
My late partner Tony and I had spent holidays in Fethiye and loved Oludeniz. We saw an opportunity to buy in October 2004 and with the location being so close to Hisaronu main streets but nestled in the Pine Forest it was too good to let go. The villa was completed in July 2005 and has been a wonderful place to holiday ever since. The area has grown rapidly and with the Turkish Lira currency being so weak against the pound in 2014 it has made the location even more popular. It's great for families. Lots to do and the locals are so friendly.
What makes this Villa unique
The benefits of staying at the property is that you don't need a car. You are just a few minutes from the High Street and all shops, Bars and Restaurants. At night the high street is closed for traffic and the Dolmus buses run down to the road adjacent to our villa. If you want to go to Oludeniz it's only around 10 - 15 minutes on the Dulmus bus which run every few minutes and Fethiye around 15 - 20 minutes. Having the baby pool is great for young ones and safe to splash around in and a great addition to the pool area.
No refunds for cancellations made after payment is made
This is a perfect villa for families, so near to everything yet very peaceful. Joy the villa owner could not have been more helpful and the welcome goodies were lovely. I would definitely stay here again
Apparently a lovely villa according to my family as I didn't travel due to a family illness.
Great villa great location, as above. Joy was a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone
Thank you Joe. Your family were a pleasure to have stay at my villa. They left it immaculate and treated it as if it was their own. Many thanks for your lovely feedback it is very much appreciated.
We have just returned from a fortnight in Hisaronu at Joy`s villa to celebrate my 60th birthday - what a fantastic holiday we have had! The villa is in a really convenient place not too far to walk which was useful in the 40 degree heat. The pool was a godsend our grandsons, daughter, son in law and us made good use of this. The air conditioning on the ground and upper floors was also a blessing. The villa is super equipped with everything you could possibly want, even down to spare pool towels.
We had a couple of days to ourselves after the children/grandchildren had gone home and so we just chilled out and relaxed by the pool - heaven! We aim to return to this villa and Turkey. Thank you Joy for letting us share your villa.
Special interest holidays:
There are two go-kart tracks and horse riding stables within a short walk of the villa. The wind surfing and kite surfing beach at Coca Calis is only 20 minutes away by bus. We have free coach pick up daily from the villa to the private beaches at the lagoon at Oludeniz or you can get the bus there within 8 minutes. Also at Oludeniz you can do paragliding or micro lighting. Fethiye is steeped in history and a main vibrant town and only 15 minutes away by bus.
Oludeniz can be reached in just 8 minutes from our villa by daily dolmus buses which run every few minutes. Fethiye by Dolmus is 15 minutes. Calis is 20 minutes by Dolmus or Taxi Boat from Fethiye.
Dalaman is the nearest airport and is approximately 50 minutes away. We provide pick up from the airport to the villa and vice versa. The cost is £90 return for up to 4 people and £25 per return per person thereafter.
The villa is just a few minutes walk from the main high street of Hisaronu. Hisaronu has many travel agents and trips to the historic landmarks around the Turquoise Coast.
There are many money exchange shops in Hisaronu and cash points exchanging Turkish Lira and Sterling. The money exchange shops do not charge commission and you get a better rate of exchange in the resort than in the UK. The villa is just a short stroll into the heart of Hisaronu where you will find many wonderful shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. It also has cash machines, doctors, pharmacies, supermarkets, a post office and a weekly market. There you can haggle for leather goods such as handmade jewellery, crafts and of course Turkey's "genuine imitation" designer goods. The local people expect you to haggle which can be a lot of fun, especially when you end up with a super bargain. Shops are open from 09:00am - 23:30pm daily. The dolmus (local bus) is available every few minutes and from 7pm - 1am the dolmus stops adjacent to the Villa, this is because the main High Street is pedestrianised at night and the bus passes by our villa.
