This luxury two storey villa is an ideal haven for those looking for something that extra bit special. Located very close to Desert Springs Golf Course, this beautifully constructed villa sleeps four comfortably and is a must for any golf fanatic but offering much more in the local area to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Situated in the hamlet of La Algarrobina, in superb landscaped grounds, the enclosed private area to both side and rear of the villa encompasses a beautifully laid out pool and sunbathing area. The hamlet is approximately 200 meters from a lightly used main Road , the current road surface leading to the Villa is hard core awaiting tarmac. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL .The nearest town of Vera is 2.5 km away providing access to a number of Supermarkets .The fishing port of Garrucha (home to the re-known Garrucha prawn) is a 15 minute drive and Mojacar Pueblo which is set up in the hills with its whitewashed villas, quaint boutique shops and stunning Panoramic views is a 20/25 minute drive . The area offers miles of sandy beaches with water sports available in Garrucha . The area is re-known for cyclists and there are numerous cycle hire shops available .Golfers are catered for at Desert Springs (5 minutes from the villa) Europes only Desert based course , Valle de Este , Marina Playa , Aguillon . The recently opened Lunar Cable park is a state of the art adventure and water sports complex - activities include kayak , Ninja park , Aqua glide and paddle boarding located near Cuevas about 15 minutes drive. La Geoda Pulpi is a spectacular Crystal mine home to the largest mineral Geode in Europe . This is located 30 minutes drive from the villa having passed through the small town of San Juan with its long but shallow sandy beaches (ideal for young children) .

The Host sharon made booking and locating property very simple. Also we were fortunate to have great neighbours if you needed anything. I have been to the area many times and it is next door to Desert Springs Golf Resort. The property was excellent and very relaxing. Will return.

Beautiful villa, great views, peaceful with private pool!

Great area, only 5 mins from main town Vera and 10 mins from the beach via car,close to Mojácar too which has plenty of great places to eat in the local area. Villa has AC, own pool and is in a really peaceful area. Villa had all mod cons - sky, and sky movies, WiFi, washing machine etc.. I will definitely be returning next year

Wonderful home from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. The photos do not do it justice. It is so well equipped with everything you need (in abundance) for a totally relaxing, stress free holiday. The location is perfect for exploring the area and the hosts provide useful and informative guides to help you enjoy your stay. Communication is excellent and it was just like staying with friends (except your friends are away!). The pool was perfect with plenty of sun beds and towels provided. Sharon and Carl have thought of everything to ensure guests have a lovely time. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa and look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely villa and owners

Carl and Sharon's villa is comfortable and very well equipped for a stay, whether you plan to lounge by the pool or hit the beach. The villa is 10 mins drive to the nearest supermarket and 15 moms to the nearest beach, both on quiet roads. Access to a car is essential. The garden gets the sun from sunrise to sunset and there are terraces that allow you to enjoy the sun or the shade, depending on the time of day. Sharon was great and provided lot of great information before we arrived and kept in touch before during and on our return from our stay. Chris and Pete, the neighbour and the pool guy were also friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Recommended for couples and small families. We would definitely look to book again in future.

Villa perfecta para descansar

La casa tiene todo lo que se necesita, incluso más. Los dueños fueron muy amables dejando incluso cosas para desayunar. Tiene todo lo que debe tener una casa que está en uso por una familia, no la típica que es solo para alquilar con los 4 típicos tenedores contados. Esta súper equipada con todo tipo de electrodomésticos. Él área es muy tranquila y la piscina es espectacular. Lo único negativo era la televisión que iba a través de una aplicación que no funcionaba muy bien. Pero el dueño ya está al corriente de ello y va a poner mejor wifi y antena de tv. Es 100% recomendable para cualquier tipo de viaje.

Antes de nada, agredecer a Carl y a Sharon su atención y su amabilidad. La casa está fantástica. Comodísima, limpia y muy bien cuidada y equipada. La zona de piscina es su punto fuerte. Una piscina grande, con zona de comedor muy agradable y espaciosa. Nosotros hemos disfrutado muchísimo. Totalmente recomendable.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette jolie maison, tout était conforme à l'annonce. Les indications données étaient très claires, nous avons trouvé nos marques rapidement. Nous sommes arrivés en soirée, nous avons apprécié les cadeaux de bienvenue et les choses à grignoter dans le frigo :) La maison est au calme, idéal pour le repos, mais également proche des plages, magasins, etc.. (15 minutes en voiture) La piscine est magnifique, et très bien entretenue. Les seuls bémols pour nous ont été l'absence de lit 2 places et certains équipements un peu vieillots (la cafetière par exemple). La climatisation dans la pièce principale serait un plus. En dehors de ces détails, tout était parfait, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Très bon séjour dans un belle villa

Les propriétaires sharon et carl et rhona leur amie, ont été très attentionné à notre bien être, on est arrivé tard le soir la lumière étaient allumé pour que l on puisse trouvé la Villa, ils nous ont rempli le frigo pour que l on puisse manger à l'arrivée de notre voyage, ( ça fait plaisir) On a passé 12 jours fin juin. la Villa est vraiment comme sur les photos magnifique ! la literie est très bien ! on est au calme dans cette villa la terrasse avec la piscine privé les palmiers et 29° tous les jours que du bonheur, on est à 10 /15 mn de la plage, supermarché, je recommande cette villa

Desastrosa

Para llegar a la casa hay que pasar por medio kilómetro que no está asfaltado lleno de piedras y baches. Cuando llegamos la persona que nos entregó las llaves recogió delante nuestra un cenicero lleno de colillas. La casa estaba limpia pero el patio estaba lleno de excrementos de pájaros. Entiendo que con el paso de los días se ensucie pero creo que es lo mínimo pedir encontrar la casa limpia. Cuando nos entregaron las llaves la señora que nos abrió se dio cuenta que la puerta del garaje estaba rota. Dijo que avisaria a su marido para que la arreglarse esa misma tarde pero no se paso. Por la tarde me puse en contacto con la propietaria para decirla que un perro vagabundo se había colado dentro de casa puesto que la puerta de la calle que daba al jardín no se podía cerrar. La comente que me daba miedo por que tenía una niña de 2y otra de 4 años. Dormimos con la puerta abierta y el perro se colo destrozando los manguitos de las niñas. Se lo comente a Sharon el último día por correo y no me contesto. Además también tuvimos problemas con la luz que saltaba cada dos por tres sin tener casi nada funcionando. Además los armarios de la casa estaban llenos de cosas de los propietarios tiradas sin casi espacio para colocar. Por si todo esto fuese poco no se puede hacer uso del porche por que esta lleno de moscas y avispas. Dentro de la casa aparecieron cucarachas. No volveremos

Isabel thank you for taking the time to feedback on your recent stay . We take all feedback seriously. The gate was fixed ASAP the next day . Rhona and I responded to all your emails / messages in a timely manner. In these messages we out lined what / when we would come back to you . From time time there will be issues in a Villa that need fixing , you were kept updated at every stage . Roaming dog , the hunting season and recently finished , sadly Podenco’s are let free to roam . We have now put protective cover over the gates which will deter dogs . All of our personal items are locked away in our own bedroom, anything left in the Villa is for our guests to use , extra towels , bedding ,beach chairs .etc . Due to Covid and protecting your safety at the Villa there would have been extra cleaning items left for you . You are aware that we don’t mass rent the Villa , your personal experience is really important to us , we aim to think of things that you may need but may have forgotten . I will make that clearer when we have future guests . Villa description your point on road we have amended the wording In homeaway . When you emailed me on your arrival you said how pleased you were with the Villa and how clean it was. We were disappointed that even though you knew what time you should vacate the Villa You didn’t . When Rhona arrived at the agreed time you were all in the pool , you asked for another hour which we agreed . We were extremely disappointed at the condition you left the Villa , we had to pay extra to get the Villa Cleaned to the same standard. The kitchen was left in a unacceptable condition. Lovely spacious villa with large pool

The villa is really well designed and fully equipped. We had a wonderful 5 nights there! The neighbourhood is very quiet but this suited us well, we had a car so could easily travel to Vera for shopping and restaurants. The area around the villa is great for running and cycling.

Très bon séjour

La maison est bien équipée, conforme aux photos et très agréable à vivre. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Le linge de maison fourni est en quantité largement suffisante. La situation permet de bien sillonner la région et de découvrir de beaux endroits. La voiture est néanmoins indispensable, mais chaque soir, on rentre dans un endroit calme et tranquille (perturbé uniquement par les mouches!!!). Une attention très appréciable de Carl et Sharon à l'arrivée: un frigo garni pour un premier repas et un petit déjeuner! Merci. Beaucoup de documentations laissées par Sharon pour visiter les environs et un itinéraire très détaillé pour accéder à la propriété. Au final, de superbes vacances.

Toutes mes excuses pour le retard avec lequel nous vous recontactons, nous sommes récemment devenus des grands-parents pour la première fois. Nous aimons bien soigner nos clients. La cafetière est un type particulier de cafetière il y a une cafetière à filtre dans la cuisine. Les meubles de cuisine de la société qui a aménagé la cuisine ne sont plus là, je conviens que plus de placards seraient préférables. Je cherche à mettre en place un service supplémentaire par le réfrigérateur. désolé pour les mouches, parfois, si elles ne sont pas pulvérisées, elles peuvent être ennuyeuses. A little piece of Heaven.

Take a minute to imagine sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine in your hand with the only sounds being the birds tweeting and the gentle lapping of the swimming pool water. That is exactly what spending time at this wonderful villa is like. It's in such a tranquil location and very private and peaceful. You do need a car but Vera and supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive away and the beach with some great restaurants is only 10 minutes away. It's an easy 50 minute drive from Almeria airport and I love the area for its distinct lack of traffic. The villa is decorated to a very high standard and fully equipped with everything you could wish for. It truly is a home from home. Wi-fi, TV if needed, Air con, Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside the pool area is spacious with sun loungers and plenty of seating. It has some lovely features and plants and the lighting looked pretty on an evening. Sharon and Carl have thought of everything and the welcome hamper in the fridge including a bottle of Cava on arrival was thoughtful, kind and much appreciated. They are really helpful and give you plenty of advice and info on the area before you arrive . Although the Villa is in a quiet location you are not too alone. Sharon and Carl have some wonderful neighbours in Pat & Chris and Ian & Rhonda who are on hand down the road if you need any advice and are very knowledgeable on the area. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind and I will definitely be looking to visit again in the future.

Lovely villa for a quiet relaxing get away

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the villa it is well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is set in a rural peaceful location, a car is a must. Sharon and Carl were very helpful prior to our arrival giving us a lot of information about the villa the surrounding area and places to eat. On arrival we also had a welcome pack a very thoughtful touch. The outside area was spacious with a fabulous patio and pool. The town of Vera is only 5 minutes drive away and the Lidl supermarket also 5 minutes away. The Vera Playa beach is a 10 minute drive,there are also several good beaches close by. We would definitely be returning to this lovely villa.

villa magnifique ma femme est moi nous avons passés d excellente vacance sharon la propriétraire toujours a notre écoute pas mail accueil adorable par pat et chris personnes adorables et accueillantes bouteille de bienvenue pour notre arrivé et nourriture d avance dans le frigo pour le repas du soir et le petit déjeuné nous recommandons activement cette villa pour passer de superbe vacance Michel et Cyndie

Juste parfait

Nous sommes restés 11 jours 10 nuits dans cette merveilleuse maison. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. A notre arrivée, la maison est très très propre, le frigo est rempli de provisions et nous sommes accueillis par les amis des propriétaires. Rhona et Pat.. Que de gentilles personnes ! Accueil chaleureux, ces personnes sont on ne peut plus serviables. Bref, le contact aussi avec les propriétaires se fait régulièrement. Ils s'inquiètent de savoir si nous ne manquons de rien. Très gentilles personnes également. La maison est très bien placée, au calme et en même temps à proximité de tout (plages, commerces, endroits touristiques...). Très belle maison avec piscine privée, à l'abri de tout regard, au calme et avec TOUT ce que nous avions besoin. Rien à dire. Si ce n'est que nous sommes comblés par notre choix et que nous conseillons vivement cette location. Encore merci a Sharon et Carl ainsi qu'à leurs amis. En espérant revenir un de ces jours !! Mes enfants étaient aux anges !!!
