The Chalet will provide its guests with a calm and peaceful holiday and is a great base to experience the joys of outdoor life in the Alps. The location is ideal for access to the 'Portes du Soleil' skiing area, one of the largest in Europe, straddling the border between France and Switzerland and offering a wide variety of skiing opportunities, from absolute beginners to adrenaline seekers and off-pisters. In addition there are numerous snowshoe and cross country ski trails which pass the back garden. Summer activities are amazing too: mountain biking, road cycling, walking, white water rafting to name but a few. Alpine food is wonderful and being situated in the Abondance valley, a traditional farming area, copious amounts of delicious local cheeses are readily available to try and to buy.
