About this property

Beautiful holiday villa in Calafell with private pool

You will love my house, its main features:

- Large living room with open concept kitchen that opens to a pergola with barbecue and an outdoor table for 8 guests, where you can enjoy outdoors pleasant meals in the company of family or friends.
- 4 double rooms for a total of 8 people, two of them with double beds (1.50 and 1.80 m) and the possibility of 1 cot / children's bed of 1.40 x 70 cms. in one of them, the other two bedrooms have each 2 single 90 cms. bed. All rooms have their own wardrobes. Two of the rooms have access to a terrace overlooking the sea.
- 2 toilets, 1 on first floor with a shower, another on second floor with a whirlpool bath.
- Large leisure area with a table tennis, a table football and a dart board, all on the same level as the garden with swimming pool and protected from the sun, ideal for fun.
- Salt water pool 8 x 4 meters (unlike chlorine water, very healthy for skin and eyes)
- Incredible chill out area with a beautiful fish pond, to relax in the company of the sound of water, ideal for sunset.
- Air conditioning in all rooms except one of the double rooms, where there is a ceiling fan.
- Safe.

The house has bed clothes and a set of bath towels for each guest. You can choose among different pillow thickness so as to have the one that adapts the best to your needs and that you are as much as comfortable as at home.

There is a garden and swimming pool maintenance service every 3 days to guarantee that you enjoy them in the best conditions.

You will fully enjoy my house because it is very spacious, with lots of light, and it has everything that you may need during your holiday.
Very well connected and placed in a quiet area.

The house is located on a street with very little neighbors and no exit. You will not have parking problems, although if you want you will be able to park your car inside the land and even in the garage.

It will be your refuge where you will enjoy a wonderful rest, fun and privacy.

Everything was perfect. Monica and Dave are the best hosts. House was big and inviting with so many place to relax ( inside and out). Games in a huge garage space turned fun room. And they have a Koi pond. 15 out 10!!!!!!

The villa was absolutely wonderful. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

The villa was our last destination after a worldwind tour of Europe. There were 7 women and the first night we simply sat outside and watched the stars. The home itself was immaculate and we enjoyed the pool and the fish pond. No one wanted to leave. We arrived late and a bottle of wine , water and pastries were waiting. Thanks again

The villa was beautiful, child friendly and perfect for a party of 8

First of all, a huge thank you to Mónica for helping with everything, always replying very quickly and just being on the ball. I’d definitely recommend a car. Because of some problems, we didn’t hire one and it was more expensive and less practical that way back but Mónica gave us a list of taxi drivers, told us the car capacities and which ones had car seats and even booked the cabs for us because our Spanish wasn’t very good! We absolutely loved visiting the places Mónica suggested, I think my favourite was the small quaint village of Castellet, situated in a National Park, with an old medieval castle. The castle isn’t usually open to the public, so check dates! But we enjoyed the lake view and the nature walk. There’s one restaurant called “the Trilby Hat” (that’s he translation, I don’t remember the spanish name), and the fish (my husband) and duck pancakes (me)were absolutely delicious and high standard - we have a foodie in our group and he was fully satisfied! Price was good too. Another town we visited at Mónica’s suggestion was Sitges. It was very pretty, with lots of shops, a beach and gorgeous narrow streets - much more touristy AND the shops / restaurants didn’t close between 4 - 8 pm which was very useful! There was a beach 5 - 10 mins drive (45 mins walk) from the villa, with a supermarket where we ended up doing our shopping. Luckily, the beach wasn’t very busy but that’s probably due to time of year (early June). Very pretty, with a promenade and some restaurants and cafes with a beach view - these operated the usual hours for food so would serve food from 1 - 4 pm and then again from 8pm. In terms of villa contents, the rooms were great, beds comfortable, showers very good, living room nice and spacious with some games (poker, jigsaw puzzles, cards). The BBQ was the best one we’ve ever used! The sitting area outside was also lovely. We spent quite a lot of time in the games room on some days, and having the garage door open made it more cosy. The pool, unfortunately, wasn’t heated so was quite cold (too cold for our toddler to stay in for more than a few minutes at a time) - normally it would be warmed up by the sun, but we had rainy days inbetween sunny days so it never warmed up properly. We found a small pool for kids so used that instead. And there were some floaties for kids! When the dishwasher wasn’t working, Mónica called an engineer straight away. The only “warning” I’d give is that there are lots of dogs barking.

Amazingly quiet and private.

This was the PERFECT place for our family of 7. We wanted somewhere safe, private, and comfortable. The description and pictures of the home where exactly as advertised. We loved that we could step out onto terrace/balcony from bedrooms. The windows offer natural light which my family loves. It came equipped with everything we needed such as dishes, dishwasher, bathing towels and cloths. Monica was an amazing host. Not only was the inside clean but the outside was clean including pool and landscaping. Monica walked us through how to use the stove/microwave combo (something we'd never seen), as well as how to set alarm and etc. She provided typed instructions as well and even had a list of restaurants and attractions for us. There's a nearby beach and it's only about a 35 min drive to Barcelona. This was by far our best family vacation. Definitely recommend this property.

Lovely Villa

Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 friends The villa was absolutely lovely with every thing you needed and immaculately clean. Monica was a great host and gave us lots of information leading up to us going there, she also advised us to hire a car which i think is a must. Unfortunately because of the health scare around the world we were unable to see much of Barcelona which was no one's fault. Maybe in the future when every thing settles down we will return to Barcelona. A massive thank you to Monica for every thing. Highly recommended.

Als erstes möchten wir Monica und ihrem Mann Dave für die sehr nette Betreuung und die umfangreichen Informationen zur Umgebung danken!! Das Haus ist genauso schön, wie die Fotos es versprechen - sauber, groß und sehr gemütlich. Und der Salzwasserpool war unser Lieblingsort!! Auch das Spielzimmer mit Kicker, Tischtennisplatte und Dart wurde viel genutzt. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!!

Beautiful Home away from home!

Luxury house with all modern facilities. Pool and garden were fabulous and completely secure. Hosts were welcoming and very informative. Location very convenient for Barcelona, Sitges and lots of beaches. The garden had several different areas to escape to and plenty of shade if you required it. I would definitely recommend this villa.

Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden

We spent a week here with our 3 teenage children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house looks exactly like the pictures - really beautiful and clean with a lovely pool and plenty of outside seating and eating areas. Our hosts Monica and Dave were great at communicating with us before we arrived and showed us the house and how everything worked. They had left a gift of cold drinks, essentials and a bottle of wine for us which was much appreciated. They kept in touch to make sure that everything was ok during our stay and gave us information about places to visit and local supermarkets. We really enjoyed our time here, thank you.

Calafell is a charming village, I keep magnificent memories of my youth, fun, beach, friends, the ideal place to spend the holidays. We took it further since I met my partner, a Dutch boy, in Calafell, and decided to build our house in this coastal town.
