This idyllic stone built 17th Century Cottage, 5 bedroom property has recently being refurbished throughout to provide an executive quality finish. Less than 1 minute from the village centre, accessed through a 'secret passage' and yet tucked away in a 'hidden' street, that enables the garden to become a quiet sanctuary from the lively village life. The 5 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, layout allows maximum flexible sleeping arrangements. The property includes many original features, including underfloor heated Yorkshire stone floors in the kitchen and dinning room, as well as original exposed beams and open fire in the dinning room and log burner in the lounge. The mature and well stocked garden benefits from sufficiently high garden walls to ensure privacy, yet big enough to enjoy the sun all day round. Wonderful Week in Yorkshire
This property exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable, convenient, interesting (love old houses), and the view from the third floor bedroom was unbelievable. We found more than enough to see and do in and around Grassington; everyone was friendly, especially the members of the Congregational Church.

Family gathering
The house was a perfect place for us to meet up with our adult children, with plenty of space and nice sleeping accommodation. The garden was a real suntrap, in fact almost too hot in the amazing weather we just had. We were thrilled to find that not only is Grassington a charming village but also it has a river with lots of fun swimming opportunities. There were lots of lovely walks rightfrom the doorstep.
