Lovely apartment lovely location

Arrived out of hours . Full easy instructions of how to get key. Apartment very close walk to marina and beautiful beach. English channels 1-5 film 4 also on tv. The only thing missing was an hairdryer. (Forgot to pack mine) we had everything else you could possibly need. Even tupawear boxes for picnics! We visited albuferia by taxi . Pool was lovely . Never packed, even though it was August. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Carlos' beautiful traditional appartment for one week. All communications with Carlos were prompt and friendly. We particularly loved the peaceful location and communal pool. The appartment was perfect for our needs of 4 adults and 2 children with the addition of a super comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen was well equiped with all appliances needed to self cater. We also loved the washing machine and dishwasher. We were unable to get a good wifi signal but we used our own data so it wasn't an issue. Also we could not get sky but this was definitely not a problem for our family as we enjoyed exploring vilamoura and making lovely memories as a family in the beautiful July sunshine. We would definitely recommend the appartment and would return again without a doubt. Thank you Carlos for sharing your home!

Um local paradisíaco

Excepcional em tudo, o local, o condomínio Solar dos Pinheiros, está construído num local calmo e sossegado, com construção esparsa que nos faz sentir no meio da natureza. Apesar disso, está-se a uma curta caminhada do centro de Vilamoura e Quarteira. O apartamento em si é tudo o descrito: cómodo, simpático, bonito e com uma disposição de divisões muito boa, a varanda voltada para a piscina, é simplesmente maravilhosa e foi o local onde tomámos todas as refeições que fizemos em casa. A zona ajardinada e a piscina, simplesmente excepcionais. O check in e check out, sem dificuldades, o contacto com o anfitrião, sempre cordial e simpático. Foi uma semana de praia excepcional; Não poderia esperar nada melhor, voltaremos com certeza. Obrigado. Ah, a única coisa que é um pouco fraca é o sinal de wi-fi, mas apanha-se bem nas divisões do lado da piscina.

Nous avons été vraiment enchantés par notre séjour, tant par la qualité de l'appartement que la gentillesse de notre hôte, Carlos, et celle de l'équipe d'accueil. Brigitte a été adorable, ainsi que la dame chargée de l'entretien de l'appartement. L'appartement est très agréable, le cadre magnifique et nos petits enfants ont adoré la piscine. Nous aimerions vraiment revenir !

Beautiful location pools were kept lovely and clean

Apartment was exactly as described. Only thing I would say was the WiFi was very slow and couldn’t connect in some rooms (kids moaned) nearest beach was amazing for the kids very shallow waters we visited a number a different beaches during our stay and this was the best for kids, shops and restaurants across the road from the beach. Would deffo recommend and would love to go back 😁

Enjoyed our stay

My sister and I stayed in this apartment which was spacious enough for the two of us. Sheets, blankets, duvets and towels were all provided. The kitchen was sufficiently kitted out for our purposes. We did not use the cooker. We were grateful for the air conditioning in the apartment. The pool and surrounding area was cleaned and tidied up once a day. The nearest supermarket is 10-15 minutes walk away. Vilamoura Marina is about 25-30 minutes walk away. Quarteira is also about 25-30 minutes walk away. We enjoy walking and was pleased to stretch our legs after sitting in the sun all day. However, if we come out again with our elderly mother, we would choose to hire a car. My sister and I enjoyed our week at the apartment and would definitely return.

Lovely stay, good pool area, in a quiet and safe neighbourhood located 10 mins walk from the marina

We had a great stay in the apartment, furnishings a bit dated but very clean and had everything we needed- and fresh linen and towels were provided throughout the stay, a little disappointed that the freezer was unavailable as prevented us storing ice and ice creams but managed. Location was good for the marina and shops about a 10 minute walk, further for the beach - more like 20 minutes, the pool area was lovely and not too busy, lots of families and likeminded guests who were respectful of each other’s privacy. Communication with Carlos was all very good and had no problems - happy to recommend!

Lovely quiet location

The apartment complex is situated in a quiet location within a 15-20 minute walk of Vilamoura Marina. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything you would require for a short or long break. The balcony over looks the well maintained gardens and pool. The receptionist and night security were helpful.

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful surrounding

We (4 adults) stayed at this beautiful property for two weeks and had a great time. The communication with Carlos before was easy and very friendly. The apartment is well equipped and the pool never too busy, so you can relax there whenever you want to. If you are willing to walk a little bit, you don't need a car - it's a 15 minutes walk to the beach and the marina and a 7 minutes walk to the supermarket. Another advantage of this property is the reception - the receptionist is very, very friendly and helped us to get a rental car for our trip to sevilla and along the coast. The apartment is a great starting point for excursions, even if you don't have a car, you can take a train from faro to get to various destinations. We enjoyed our vacation very much and we would recommend this apartment! Thank you, Carlos!

Great apartment in an ideal location - only 10 minutes from supermarkets, and a further 5 minutes to the Marina. Lovely pool area to use during the day or you can use the sun loungers on the balcony. Spacious enough for 4. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed.

Lovely quiet location though close to the marina

Very clean fully equipped comfortable apartment. Air conditioning a plus. Lovely gardens and great pool for both adults and children. Pool cleaned every day and grounds kept tidy. A lovely tree lined safe walk to the marina. Reception and security staff very helpful and friendly. We booked our trips via the reception and nothing was too much trouble. Great for families and very relaxing

A lovely clean and well equipped apartment exactly as described and surrounded by the most beautiful gardens.The swimming pool was well maintained and never too busy so we were totally relaxed on our return.The location was good,not so far from the centre and unless you want to do a lot of sight seeing a car is not necessary as taxi prices are very reasonable also there is a very good bus service.I would definitely recommend this apartment and we are hoping to return to this lovely part of Portugal in the future.Thank you Carlos.

RELAXING PEACEFUL HOLIDAY IN A TRANQUIL SETTING

A lovely tranditional Portugese property, nice open plan living area and two large bedrooms and bathroom, complete with everything you need. The balcony overlooks the private well kept garden and pool, all set in a residential area 10 minutes walk from the Marina, golf, beach, bars and shopping area. NIcely situated to explore other towns and villages within 30 minutes to 1 hour car ride.We had a wonderfull month of nice hot weather. The owner and the staff in the reception are so friendly, helpful and welcoming nothing is too much trouble, this just completed our stay and we look forward to going back again in the near future. Highly recommended.

Why they chose this property

Although I love London I do miss the warm sunshine that we're not so blessed with here so back in 1986 I decided to buy my property in the Algarve and haven't looked back since. It immediately appealed to me for it's lovely tranquil location and really nice gardens.

What makes this property unique

The property is one of only 37 apartments so it's a very small, well designed and maintained development. (Only two Floors high) It's really peaceful as only a handful of apartments are used as holiday lets. The proximity to the marina and all it has to offer is ideal for those without a car. It also serves as a great base for those who want to explore all the nearby villages/towns.
