About this property

This modern, detached eco-friendly property completed in 2012 was built to the highest standards and is new to the rental market this summer. The three reception rooms all have bi-fold doors which open onto a raised stone patio and have spectacular panoramic views of Falmouth Bay, Pendennis Castle, the Manacles and beyond. Four of the bedrooms have views out to sea, with two having bi-fold doors opening onto balconies with glass surrounds. The property is ideally located next to Castle Beach just a few minutes walk from Falmouth Train Station and also from Events Square and the town with its shops and many and varied eateries.

Fantastic property and location

Well what can I say. This property is absolutely fantastic, in a brilliant location with breathtaking sea views. Communication with Chris and Jane from first booking our holiday was really good and they are so friendly. We had a couple of small issues during our stay but these were dealt with really quickly by Chris. Everything you would possibly need is provided in this property, it has to be the best house we have ever stayed in and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay Chris and Jane.

Absolutely stunning house in a stunning location, perfectly situated close to town , beach and amenities. The host couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely be back.

Sensational views and lovely house

The place was great. Very lovely home, nicely furnished and comfortable lounges. Woodburner was nice for the cooler nights though we had to request the handles to be able to use them, though that request was no problem. The views are especially fantastic and the location very good being so close to Town centre. Parking was available on the drive or on the street was easier sometimes. There is an aga which was a bit warm for our summer stay but the kitchen is fully equipped and a nice dining room with views made cooking and eating in lovely, but we only did that once. The master bed mattress was a bit firm for us, given shoulder issues but otherwise the house is superbly appointed, especially the bathrooms. Hosts were available to help with requests and issue - smoke detector battery died. Though we had very changeable rainy weather we still enjoyed our visit, though in a sunny week it would have been spectacular. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Family break at half-term

It was precisely what we were looking for. There was space for all 10 of us to be together but have some personal space. Its a wonderful location overlooking the sea and the beach was just the other side of the road. Falmoth high street was a short walk away

We moved to Falmouth ten years ago and would never dream of living anywhere else now!

Why they chose this property

The view from the house into the Bay changes constantly as ships, yachts, cruise liners and paddleboarders come and go. On Saturday evenings in the summer, we often enjoy firework displays from Pendennis Castle or from hotels along the bay front.

The location is ideal for everyone - a short walk into town for an evening out or to the shops during the day, the leisure centre s short walk in the opposite direction, the beach directly opposite and peace and quiet in the garden or house if that's what you'd prefer.

Falmouth has festivals and events throughout the year. It is well worthwhile checking out the town website http://www.falmouth.co.uk/ for more information on what's on.

What makes this property unique

Once you're here, you can abandon the car as there's plenty to keep you entertained in Falmouth with the beaches, bars, restaurants, art gallery, Maritime Museum and swimming pools. If you wish you can take the local train service into Truro (the local train station is just a few minutes walk away) or get a ferry across to Flushing, St Mawes or even into Truro.
