Private Villa Crystal provides an exquisite and romantic setting for couples, offering spectacular panoramic ocean views. The villa is situated on 22 acre area of ocean view hillside land known as Sitara Retreat, which provides 24 hour security.

The Villa has a large Infinity swimming pool with sun beds, parasol and Lotus pond with colourful fish and turtles. This spectacular setting is surrounded by wonderful lush greenery, swaying palm trees and outstanding ocean views. With its magnificent 180 degree panoramic view of the shimmering turquoise ocean, Villa Crystal is uniquely perched amongst, around and against the ancient granite boulders, which are a special feature throughout the Villa. The villa is also very popular for honeymoons.

Sitara, where Villa Crystal is located, is an exclusive private residency, surrounded by nature, and with outstanding natural beauty. The Villa is in the unspoiled south of the island which largely remains unaffected by over development that unfortunately blights the north.

Entering Villa Crystal from the private car park, steps navigate around an impressive granite rock, which is one of the many features of this stunning villa. Positioned at the entrance of the villa is a lovely Lotus pond, with tropical fish and turtles.

Outside is a large and private, infinity edge swimming pool, decking with sun beds, lush greenery and magnificent ocean views. A gas barbecue located here by the beautiful poolside where you can cook local fresh meat and vegetables bought from the local market.

From the poolside is the beautiful and spacious open plan Living area with 55 inch SMART tv with Netflix, YouTube etc, together with a lovely Dining area. These areas are blessed with natural light, a high elevated ceiling and provides sensational 180 degree ocean views. The stunning views, which can also be enjoyed from the three balconies that forms part of this Living area, are found throughout Villa Crystal.

The Kitchen area consists of a fully equipped, brand-new, western-style fitted Kitchen with Breakfast bar. Also on this level is a partially open shower room, with WC, uniquely designed around a gigantic granite rock which provides another individual feature.

From the balcony, you step down to the Bedroom en-suite with sliding doors and leads you onto another balcony, with its own small colourful garden and table and chairs. Here you can also relax and enjoy the fabulous tropical setting.

The en-suite Bathroom consists of bath tub, separate walk-in shower, vanity unit and wc, and has been created using the classic touch and feel of Terrazzo to give a cool and sophisticated look.

The unique features of both the Bedroom and Bathroom is the stunning look and imaginative display of the beautifully created rock formation.

Please note that no additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa, are permitted to stay overnight.

All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.

It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.

All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank.

No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. The complimentary car is not to be driven off the island.

Neighbourhood description:

Villa Crystal is for couples that want a private and romantic setting with the most amazing ocean views that look over to the islands and also the mainland over 20 kilometers away.

Within 5 drive from the Villa there is the charming area of Laem Sett. Within this area there is local Laem Sett beach, which is quiet and secluded. Here one can enjoy and admire a beautiful sunset, and sometimes see the local fishermen with their long tailed boats come into shore. Located on the beach is the popular Thai style Cool Bar when you can enjoy good food and a drink whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.

Also close by is ShaSa Resort, Centara Villas Resort and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and has many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars.

There are many fine restaurants serving delicious Thai and Western food, coffee shops, mini-marts for your daily needs, well reputed massage shops, taxi services etc within 5-10 min drive of the villa.

Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 6 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.

Less than 10 mins away by car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market and also the home of several small local shops, coffee shops, doctors surgery, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM, together with a Chinese Temple.

Lamai is a beach side tourist town a 10 min drive from the Villa. There are individual shops offering locally made souvenirs and clothes. When the sun goes down the streets come alive with lights from the night market and variety of restaurants serving excellent Thai and western dishes in the town and on the beach. Thai boxing is also popular and Lamai has its own professional and amateur boxing ring.

Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 mins drive away, which include Namsuang Waterfalls, Crocodile Farm, Elephant trekking, The Grandmother Grandfather Rocks, water sports, excellent Thai cookery classes, a snake farm and many temples, amongst others.

Here there still has the feel on Koh Samui of over 20 years ago, unlike the north of the island. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people.

Remember nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes away. The southern part of the island, where the villa is located, remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north. It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. The beaches on the south remain pretty much undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline.
