A story :
 Château Cicéron, is built on an old Roman "Villa".
Its park, the recreational area, the Garden of Rare Vines form a unique whole, a privileged setting.
The Estate has been completely redesigned and renovated for the Quality of Life of the men and women who stay there.
We feel the respect of Claude the winemaker, for the Occitan history, his concern for detail, his requirement for Wine, his epicurean fondness, and his love for Nature.

Claude and his companion Alain, work to protect the eco-system and the beauty of the place: we are here in the permanent search for a sustainable economy where Man and Nature live in symbiosis.

Location:
Estate and vineyard are located in a superb setting which overlooks the meanders of
the Orbieu, backed and protected on the North side by the majestic Alaric.
Cicero is
- 35 mins from Carcassonne,
- 17 mins from the A61 motorway, exit "Lézignan- COrbières":
- a short walk from the village and the Lagrasse Abbey
- 20 mins from Fontfroide Abbey.
- in the heart of the Cathar Country and its castles: Villerouge Termenes, Quéribus ...

Stay - rental "La Grande Maison":
Our 2 formulas:
 September to June: guest rooms with breakfast
 July and August: weekly rental, lodging formula.
-> gastronomic and regional dishes served to order from local products or from the area that produces its olive oil, vegetables, fruits, depending on the season.

Rental services of "the Big House"
We offer up to
4 double bedrooms and
 2 parental suites (1 double bedroom + 1 bedroom for 1 child)

The "living" rooms are composed
- a large dining room decorated and furnished with taste, lit by large openings which overlook the terrace and the Alaric.
Cozy warmth from a wood stove for fall or winter evenings.
- a comfortable TV lounge with a large fireplace.
Mixed wood and electric heating. Double glazing for all openings.
     -> Fall or winter stays are particularly pleasant!

Overnight accommodation:
1st floor:
- the "Look on the Alaric" suite consists of 2 twin bedrooms each with its own shower room, 160 cm bed and 1 WC in the hall of the suite.
- the “Côté Jardin” suite includes the master bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 child's bedroom, shower room in the hall of the suite. 1 separate WC
2nd Floor:
- The "Cers et Marin" suite covers the entire floor. A transverse corridor separates the 2 spaces, independent access to each room.
-> "Coté Cers": bedroom with 140 cm bed + ch. child + SDE / WC in the hall of the suite.
-> "Coté Marin" is made up of a bedroom + shower room / WC 160 bed.

Sheets, towels available + hairdryer in the SDE.

The exteriors of "La Grande Maison":
- A private terrace> 35 m2: The Dining Room opens onto a large terrace reserved for tenants, the view of the Alaric Mountain is striking!
From spring, the terrace is equipped for meals and "lazing around".
- BBQ available.
- Private parking.
- The Orangery of the 19th century where the heated water pool (9 m X 5 m) and the solarium nestle.

The surroundings of the Estate:
- Paths to discover the flora of the Corbières, walk to Lagrasse (4 kms)
- The path of the Garden of Rare Vines which cover the 10 hectares adjoining the Estate.
- The Orbieu and its waterfall at Ribaute 1.7 Kms, swimming.
- Corbières rich in abbeys, Cathar castles.
