Dan went over and above to make us feel welcome! He left food and snacks for our arrival and offered early checkin and late checkout to help make our travels as smooth as possible. The house is very clean and well stocked with any supplies you will need. Lots of towels, comfortable beds and an amazing kitchen. The kitchen has everything appliance you will need and plenty of dishes, glasses and pans. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for 12 and borrowed only a very few items from local relatives. We will definitely stay here again when returning to San Antonio! I've stayed in many rentals in San Antonio and highly recommend this property as one of the best I've experienced and Dan as probably the best host we've had.

The property manager was quick to respond to all of my messages. After finding out we were traveling, there was snacks waiting on us in the fridge so we could relax some after we arrived. One of the best property managers / owners I've ever worked with.

Stayed in this beautiful home for six weeks in February-March 2016. Very nicely appointed with beautiful office, top of the line appliances and every kitchen gadget imaginable. The rooms are a generous size and the bathrooms are large, clean and complete with amenities. Dan is a great owner! He is patient and easy to communicate with as I needed to extend my stay. This home is convenient to the city but just far enough away to provide a peaceful, relaxing home away from home. Walkable community and pleasant neighborhood I would highly recommend this home!

Good to use as home base

The property was as described so far as it went. No mention made, though, of the absence of a useable or child-friendly yard. It's a typical housing addition unit looking into the back windows of a couple of other units, and vice-versa; the view outside was disappointing. But it served it's purpose as a place to sleep, then leave for the day to see the sights of S.A. and environs. Cooking pans were barely useable; hopefully that can be easily remedied. Memory foam mattress in master br was very nice! The home office and entertainment center objets d'art were pretty, but a hazard with an active 2-yr. old. Really wouldn't recommend it for small children -- but the swimming pool access and tennis courts were a definite plus for school-aged and up. Interactions with owner were very pleasant and prompt; couldn't have asked for better. We enjoyed our stay, and it served our purpose well.

A very gracious host.

We came in to bury my Mother, and from the time of our initial contact, Dan made our time of grieving a much easier one. As we were traveling over night, he made sure our accomodations were ready and easy to check in. He even went above and beyond and had breakfast and lunch for our arrival ready for us. His communications with me where second to none. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet him and shake his hand, thank you Dan!

A nice quiet place to stay

3-month Winter Retreat

My wife and I stayed for three months at Dan's residence. We used to live in the area and the house is perfectly situated in the Far Northside/Stone Oak/Timberwood Park area with quick access to 281 and amenities likes parks, restaurants, grocery, and retail - that area is growing and will only get better once the 281 freeway is finished in the next year or so. The home is laid-out well with an office and two smaller bedrooms at the front of the house and the master bedroom, living room and kitchen in the back of the house. This way I could work in the office without disturbing my spouse. We took advantage of everything in the house - the small patio out back with an electric grill, the High-Efficiency washer/dry combo in the laundry room and pretty much every appliance in the kitchen - including the wine fridge. The house is well-appointed - you shouldn't have to bring anything with you. The check-in process was seamless even during the pandemic. We felt safe and well looked after by Dan. Dan was incredibly responsive (30 minutes or less response time - day or night) - before, during, and after our stay. We were at the house during the historic 2021 Winter Snow storm that hit Texas. We never lost power or Internet, but we did have pipes freeze in the garage. Dan's brother came out within 24 hours (less than a day after the snow hit) to unthaw the pipes and get our water back running. We lost water a couple of more times, but more due to the local water and power utility - nothing to do with the house. Through out everything, Dan was communicative with us to keep us up-to-date as events developed. It's this kind of commitment to guest service that really stood out to us. If we can do another retreat with Dan and this property, we would more than do it again. We would recommend this property and Dan to our parents, friends, and family.

Dream Host

Better than the comfort, functionality, and location of the home is the host. Dan is absolutely engaged with you and your comfort in the process and stay in the home. His communication exceeded expectation in that he was prompt and/or would give you an idea of when and how he would communicate (he used the mode of communication that was best for me...text, email, or phone dependent upon time of day). Finally, he was extremely flexible and understanding. We had a couple of unplanned issues that caused for a need to extend our stay. He made the process seamless and quick, which relieved a ton of stress. I'd recommend this home, but especially Dan as the host (i.e. any property that he manages) as short and long term stay to friends and family.

Short trip to San Antonio

This was the right house for us as we had some business to do and needed a place right in the middle between all the locations to attend. The Owner has a good taste for the interior and was friendly, accurate in his descriptions and very responsive. Especially under the Covid 19 situation, we found all appliances to cook and serve our own meals, wash clothing. Sleep was quiet and comfortable, what else could we ask for.

Ideal Location on the North Side

This location met all of our needs. Ideally located on the north side. The only bad thing was traffic on 281 but we learned to detour around it. I would rent it again and recommend it

Family getaway

Daniel is a fantastic host. The property is both very well decorated and cozy. We found everything we needed and more in the house and the fenced in yard was a bonus with our two dogs. Daniel was quick to respond and was very accomodating.

From Hill Country to Riverwalk

This was a great location for our large family to be able to easily access all of the activities that the area has to offer. We tubed the Guadelupe, swam at Sea World's water park and strolled down the Riverwalk all within a short drive from this well appointed home. The host was always quick to respond if we had any questions and even shipped us an item overnight that we had left behind . We would definitely rent this home again.

We absolutely loved staying at Daniel's home. The master b/r is remote, so we had plenty of room to spread out. Space is good when you are traveling with 2 teenagers, lol. All appliances are in perfect condition, comfy beds, tons of fluffy towels & a great fenced yard. Loved having a garage to park in. Neighborhood is great...quiet and friendly. Great location, just minutes away from all of the surrounding attractions. Highly recommend and we will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

The owner was nice and the place was very clean. His art work and family collections are nice and we found it interesting. It was nice to have a place to set up my computer. Beds were comfortable. My daughter lives close by and staying here to visit her was much more convenient than a hotel.
