The best villa we've stayed in

This is a beautiful, well equipped villa with stunning views and a delightful infinity pool. Beds are comfortable, the showers are good and the kitchen well equipped. There is little to fault Villa Lemoni - as a family we felt at home within minutes and had a lovely stay.

Amazing views from this fantastic villa

We had a wonderful week in Old Skala. The pictures just can't do justice to the wow factor of view from the pool. We walked down to Skala one evening and easily got a taxi back up and also had meals out at the local taverna which was an easier 20 min walk away. Great escape and week of relaxation.

Relaxing villa

Beautiful place with excellent views. Pool could have been heated as water was very cold (22.5 c). No washing up liquid or cloths, salt and pepper etc. but otherwise fine. Great communication from hosts.

We felt very sorry that the weather was so bad for your stay. Totally unseasonal, unexpected and bad enough for it it hit the national news in the UK. The 2 sets of guests after you have enjoyed using the pool. No amount of heating any pool is going to compensate for such extreme weather, but we appreciate that this is disappointing.

Unbelievable view!

We had a really relaxing week at Villa Lemoni. It's a bit outside of Skala, but therefor we had one of the best views we ever saw, especially when enjoying the pool. If you searching the silence and a romantic stay, Villa Lemonier is the best choice. Nice bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen made the stay perfect. We can 100% recommend the Villa and our hosts, which gave us good tipps for exploring Kefalonia as well for all other questions.

Great family holiday

This a great property with the most fantastic views (get up for the sunrise!) and all the facilities you could wish for. The owners are great to deal with, very responsive and helpful. Kefalonia is very peaceful during October when we visited. There were only three restaurants still open in Skala due to the time year, but we eat in all three and they all served excellent traditional greek food. A great family holiday. Thank you Keith & Jasmine.

Simply the best!

The villa was everything we could have asked for & more. Loved the layout, what was provided (including outdoor cinema), & the view really was fabulous! Hannah was always on hand (online), helpful, friendly & informative. In order to be helpful to others, we found the steepness & narrowness of the roads all over the island absolutely fine, but some people may not, & the pool was colder than expected, but again hardly an issue. Would highly recommend & if we’re lucky enough, would definitely book again, 10/10 :)

This was our first Villa holiday and wont be our last Villa Lemoni was amazing could not fault anything ,the views are great overlooking Skala which we have visited for the last 20yrs. The Villa was well maintained and spotless and you have everything you need for a great holiday. The outside kitchen area is great for BBQS and well equiped. Keith & Jasmine were great if you have a problem or not sure about something they are only a phone call or a email away and are very happy to help with anything.Hopefully we will be returning to Villa Lemoni for another glourious 2wks next year would highly recomend this Villa to anybody.

Beautiful, more than met our expectations

The best family holiday we've had in years. The villa is lovely, clean & well laid out with everything you could need. We love to cook and the outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were great fun. Even so late in the season we didn't feel that Skala had closed for winter. Having wanted to visit Kefalonia for many years but never got around to it we are so glad we found Villa Lemoni. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would love to visit again. A week is certainly not long enough! Thank you Keith & Jasmine for allowing us to share your little bit of paradise.

We have just returned home from the most exceptional time away at this villa. There were so many highlights from our stay. The squeals from the children as they entered the house said it all. It’s a stunning home, spotless throughout, with up to date rooms and bathroom towels in abundance, not to mention all you need inside and out. Such plush and thick sun beds! We stayed 7 days (I wish it had been 70) and in that time the cleaner came by, changed all the towels and bins and ran over the kitchen and rooms once again. It was so appreciated and enabled us to truly relax. We were so impressed. The infinity pool is a treat, the views of the sea and passing boats special and memorable and the owner gave fabulous restaurant recommendations in nearby Skala, with pretty beach bays close by. It’s exceptionally quiet bar the beautiful sound of goat bells in the evening as they traverse the hillside. I wish I was back right now. I also wanted to add that our hire car failed on our final departure day and the arriving cleaners were so helpful with our significant problem, even trying to fix the vehicle. If you want a stunning, peaceful holiday location with perfect airy tooms that are beautifully decorated, as well as kind locals on hand who would do anything to help, this is for you…. Go enjoy, we will be back!

Wonderful Villa Lemoni

We have just recently returned from the most wonderful two week holiday staying in Villa Lemoni, situated high in the hills in a semi-rural location. The setting is just stunning and it was quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we needed. The villa is spacious and very comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday, with the outside space giving you the real ‘wow’ factor. The views from the fabulous infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean and Skala were breathtaking and sitting outside in the evening with the lanterns on and a glass of wine was just fabulous. The owners, Keith and Jasmine, were incredibly helpful and recommended a family restaurant in Skala called Mikelatos which we could not recommend more highly. When you choose to book a holiday you can only hope that it will live up to expectations and we can honestly say that Villa Lemoni gave us everything we could have asked for. Stunning Skala

I am not really one for writing reviews, however the villa and location deserve praise. The villa is very well laid out and the views are amazing, sunrise on the chairs looking out over the islands - just try it. We went as a family of 5 (Three boys) and once we had unplugged from the commotion of normal life the villa provided a fantastic location far enough away that it felt private but close enough that getting anywhere was not a chore. Yes the villa is set high up in the hills, yes you can walk to town, infact we did most days but its a 2 hour round trip but the walk is fantastic and the boys loved finding hidden shortcuts and chasing the goats and sheep. The reality is a car is essential though. Jasmine and Keith were great, and I couldn't have asked any more from them. Thankyou both ! Skala as a town when we stayed was very very quite mainly locals but that suited us as we do not like busy tourist places however in season you have a vast selection of resturants, bars water sports and beaches. This was our first holiday for 3 years and if I'm honest it was everything we wanted it to be and a touch more. Back next year ? Oh Yes

Lovely Old Skala

Our 2 week stay was just too short, as is always the case with the Ionian Islands. Villa Lemoni was perfect for us and the view is incredible from all areas. A better equipped villa you will not find, Hannah has ensured there is everything you could possibly need! Lovely bed linens, plentiful towels, big slouchy sofas for relaxing on (first 3 days were a bit iffy weather wise!) decent sized coffee cups - a new bean to cup coffee machine and my personal favourite - the juicer, fresh OJ every morning was blissful. Comfy beds - close the shutters at night and the insect screens for perfect darkness and no buzzies- loads of cupboard space, in fact it’s very spacious all round. Comfortable seating under the pergola and upstairs on the balconies, where the view just gets better. The sunbeds are an absolute joy - massive big pads make it somewhere one struggles to leave when the sun goes down, hugely comfortable. The pool, although heated to small degree, was a bit chilly for us, but it was early in the season and quite a deep pool, perhaps not suitable for very young children. Late June/July/August and it will be perfect. Not the easiest villa to find but a combination of Google Maps, Waze and having been to Kefalonia several times before helped, once you’ve found it, you’ll be fine. It’s very quiet and I mean very quiet - all we heard were the goats bells!!! Faye the cleaner is lovely and super helpful - we never got to say thank you, so thank you 💙 we’ll be back!

Beautiful villa with stunning views

This is a beautiful villa with stunning views of the Mediterraneon off the edge of the infinity pool. Waking up and opening the shutters each morning was joyful. The pictures can't do it justice. The villa itself was well equipped, but could do with a quick and easy gas BBQ to complement the lovely outdoor space, which would have been used a lot more than the wood burner. Wasps were an issue on most days throughout the town so worth getting repellent. The local taverna mentioned in the description was not open (probably due to fewer people as a result of Covid19). This was disappointing because it looked fantastic and the nearest taverna was a good 15-20 minute drive away. Make sure to have a car that you can easily manage on sharp edges and steep climbs. If this taverna opens again it would provide a fantastic benefit to this property with its large verandah and magnificent view. There are many fantastic tavernas in Skala and beyond to Poros in the north to Kaminia Beach in the south. We rented a boat on two days which was fantastic. The first we rented from Katelios and the second from the one on Skala beach. They were the same price (EURO 170 plus fuel) but the second boat was much nicer and more comfortable, and the motor was better. The staff were really helpful and pleasant to deal with. The layout of the villa was perfect for us - 3 couples - and there was plenty of space for all. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a good ensuite and there is another toilet and shower downstairs. The airconditioning worked well and made a big difference as the temperature reached around 30 degrees on most days. We rent villas for summer every year and this one was definitely the best we've stayed in. Highly recommend it, but check if the Taverna is open first if it's important for you to have a local place to eat.

Traumhafter Blick bei Tag und Nacht

Das Haus liegt hoch über dem südöstlich gelegenen Dorf Skala mit Blick über auf das Meer (Golf vonPatra) bis hin zu den Bergen auf dem Festland und dem südlichen Zakynthos. Die Anfahrt ist etwas beschwerlich, aber oben angekommen belohnt der Ausblick - vor allem, wenn man im "Infinity-Pool" schwimmt, der ohne Rand in das Meer überfließen zu scheint. Auch der Blick von der Terrasse oder dem Balkon beim abendlichen Apperitiv oder einem Eiskaffee sind einzigartig. Nachts kann man seinen Blick dann nach oben richten, denn die wenigen Lichter aus Skala erhellen den Himmel kaum und so kann man die Milchstraße, Sterne und Sternschnuppen genießen. Wird es zu kalt, nutzt man die Glut am großen Grill und macht noch ein kleines Lagerfeuer. Alles sehr romantisch! Neben der Lounge am Pool und den Sesseln auf dem Balkon gibt es auf der Seitenterrasse auch einen großen Esstisch, der überdacht ist. Auch innen ist das Haus toll ausgestattet. Drei Schlafzimmer, vier einfache aber gut im Haus verteilte Bäder mit Duschen, eine geräumige Küche und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Sofas und einem weiteren großen Esstisch, sollte es mal draußen doch zu kalt sein. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Die Übergabe bei An- und Abreise war sehr unkompliziert und die Vermieter bei Fragen für uns immer erreichbar. Sehr angenehm war es auch, dass einmal in der Woche die Böden gereinigt, die Handtücher gewechselt und die Betten frisch gemacht wurden. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben...

A wonderful location and a view you could never tire of seeing. A really high standard villa in all elements - location, facilities, layout and support from the owners. We had a wonderful stay and benefited greatly from the advice given by Keith and Jasmin. Their local knowledge allowed us to avoid wasting time searching for restaurants and supermarkets. Quiet, relaxing location with super views

Beautiful, high quality villa with plenty of room indoors and outdoors and with every facility you would want. Gorgeous, good sized pool with amazing views of the sea and coastal area from the patio, villa and pool. We enjoyed using the BBQ and pizza oven and particularly loved the great local taverna in Old Skala when eating out. Quiet hillside location a short drive away from the small town of Skala. We won't forget the sound of the bells on the sheep and goats as they roamed the area surrounding the villa in the evenings! Skala was small but bustling enough to have a great atmosphere with a good choice of taverna's and shops and a great beach. We would thoroughly recommend this villa as a base for a super stay in Kefalonia. Thank you!

Villa Lemoni exceeded expectations in every way.

A villa that felt like home and was so comfortable in every way. We love cooking - and the kitchen was SO well equipped, had everything we needed and more, as well as the pizza oven and huge brick bbq and sink outside. The infinity pool was spectacular and the centre of many artistic photos! Any problems/queries were responded to quickly by both the management company and landlord. What can I say........breathtaking and amazing!

The description of the property did not do it justice at all. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left we were transfixed by the view. The villa was everything we wished for and more. The owners had gone out of their way to make the villa feel not just like a rental but a home, even down to small gadgets like the olive stoner! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was brilliant and the beds were comfortable. We had no problems with the showers and never ran out of hot water. And the aircon in every room was such a bonus. The kitchen was really well stocked with utensils and the dishwasher and washing machine were a godsend. The lounge was really comfy with big sofas and there was a big dining table and chairs if you didn’t want to eat outside. And the main focal point of the downstairs was the amount of patio doors which gave you and inside/outside experience. The pool area was to die for and the loungers and furniture was so comfy. There was a lovely big table and chairs in a covered shady area, ideal for alfresco dining. And the pool.....wow. It was amazing being in the pool looking over at the amazing view. We spent a lot of time at the villa as it was so lovely and took advantage of the outdoor bbq and even made pizzas. We found a brilliant butchers in Poras and stocked up as there is a freezer big enough for food , ice creams and ice. Even the pool towels were a lovely touch. The cleaner came twice weekly and the pool man turned up but none interfered with us. We did have some correspondence with the owners who were brilliant and dealt with a small issue immediately. They responded immediately and were so friendly. We all had a wonderful holiday, including my two grandsons age 5 and 8. This is an amazing villa, very luxurious, amazing views and so relaxing. If we come back to Kefalonia we will definitely book Villa Lemoni again. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful villa 💖

Fantastic Villa

My wife, 2 year old son and I stayed here June 2018 and we loved every second. The villa is incredible with the best view in Kefalonia and has everything you need for a great holiday. Loads of space, plenty of kitchen equipment for eating in and the infinity pool is spectacular. We loved the villa so much that we found ourselves spending a lot more time around the pool and eating in than in previous years. The villa was a little further out of town than we had anticipated but this didn't detract from our stay at all. The drive up into the mountain is a bit hair raising the 1st time but well worth it once your at the top. In total you're probably only 1km from the sea but the winding road takes 10 minutes to navigate. The villa is in such a quiet and peaceful spot that you'll be grateful for the tricky access. This was our 3rd trip to Skala, as with a small child its nice to go back to somewhere you are familiar with. We've stayed in the middle of town, up on the cliffs and now at Villa Lemoni. Villa Lemoni was definitely our favourite. If we visit Skala again we would definitely book Villa Lemoni.
