Casita Mimosa is a small stone built finca providing comfortable living accommodation for two people but with modern facilities. It is located in the Campanet valley, which is a peaceful rural location ideal for complete relaxation. The house facilities include a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, fibre wi-fi internet , a TV / DVD player and air conditioning in the bedroom. There is a swimming pool set amongst the rocks and two acres of grounds comprising both a cultivated garden and a wilder more natural area leading up the hillside to reveal views across the valley.

WOW !

If your looking for seclusion, with big skies, birdsong and no passing traffic then we can highly recommend this villa. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the pool was spotlessly clean while the garden was wonderful, especially loved the view from the end of the garden. We woke up to birdsong and fell asleep to the sound of sheep bells. It was very hot during our stay, so we spent long mornings having breakfast, reading, drinking tea before heading out to some of the lovely restaurants the island has to offer for long lunches. We then spent the late afternoon around the pool and spent the evenings eating at the villa, with a drink in hand, watching the stars. The host was friendly and easy to contact and we would highly recommend you stay! You will need to hire a car to get around as it is so secluded. If our daughters allow us to come back to Mallorca without them, we would return here like a shot. jo and mark, uk.

Tranquil hideaway

We loved the peacefulness and the well appointed facilities. The house is in a very rural setting but a short car journey to Pollensa town and the delightful beaches at Puerto Pollensa. Our one disappointment was about cleanliness. The house was excellent when we arrived, but in a two week stay we expected a change of linen after one week. This only happened when I contacted the owner and even then we had to make the beds ourselves! In our many previous self catering holidays on the island we have always had someone come in half way through to vacuum, dust etc, but this did not happen here. We found it difficult to keep the place clean as there was no floor mop and no hoover provided, just a broom. Such a shame as we loved the location.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf der Finca Mimosa. Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig und abseits gelegen, umgeben von wunderschöner Natur – ideal zum Abschalten und Erholen. Der schöne, große Pool ist perfekt zum Schwimmen und der weitläufige, wilde Garten macht das Naturerlebnis komplett.Die Finca ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Hervorzuheben ist auch der unkomplizierte und freundliche Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber, der jederzeit hilfsbereit war.Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Finca de luna de miel

Absolut privat, das ganze Anwesen. Kein Teilen mit anderen Feriengästen oder gar dem Besitzer. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, alles sehr sauber, ruhig gelegen und jeden Cent wert. Sehr zu empfehlen für ein verliebtes Pärchen! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Aufenthalt war nur zu kurz. Wir werden hier ganz sicher wieder kommen. Vielen Dank G&J

Casita Mimosa

Es war ein ganz toller Aufenthalt in der Casita Mimosa. Sehr gut gepflegtes kleines Haus und außerordentlich ruhig gelegen. Leider war wegen eines Problems beim Internetbetreiber keine WLAN-Verbindung zu unseren Geräten möglich aber das lag nicht in der Verantwortung des Vermieters. Es war dann technisch halt mal „back to the roots“ und kann man überleben. Wir kommen sicher wieder. It was a really great stay at Casita Mimosa. Very well maintained small house and extraordinarily quiet location. Unfortunately, due to a problem with the internet provider, we were not able to get a Wi-Fi connection to our devices, but that was not the landlord's responsibility. It was technically "back to the roots" and you can survive. We will definitely be back.

Wunderbare Ferien im kleinen Paradies

Wir haben gerade 14 wunderbare Tage in diesem Kleinod verbracht. Casita Mimosa in den Bergen nahe Campanet ist ein besonderer friedvoller Ort, der mit viel Gespür für die Umgebung und die ursprüngliche Schönheit dieses Ortes eingerichtet und bewahrt wird. In dem kleinen Haus findet man alles, was Mensch zu einem erholsamen Urlaub benötigt, sogar eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer hilft, wenn es im Sommer sehr warm ist, einzuschlafen. Alles ist mehr als gepflegt und sauber und Mercedes kümmert sich hervorragend um diese kleine Casita. Im und am Pool lässt es sich grandios relaxen, da auch ausreichend Liegen und Schirme bereit stehen. Natürlich ist ein Auto notwendig, dann kann man in kürzester Zeit die Insel erkunden. Lieber Adrian, wir haben uns Ihrem Heim sehr wohl gefühlt und überlegen, diesen Ort vielleicht einmal im Frühjahr zu erleben. Also, von uns gibt es 5 Sterne und mindestens 2 dazu für den verläßlichen Kontakt und die gute Wegbeschreibung! Margitta und Udo Hayk

A rural oasis

Even though we had seen the photographs of Casita Mimosa prior to our arrival, we didn't really know what to expect. However, when we did arrive, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, and the property is very secluded although not isolated. The gardens are beautiful, extending up the hillside to a wooded area at the end and it is here that you can lie in the hammock looking at the stunning views across to the Tramuntana mountains. The house was larger than we imagined, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. There were days when we really couldn't imagine being anywhere else but beside the pool, so we stayed put and relaxed on the great sun beds and dined on the shaded terrace looking at the garden. Campanet is in a great location - close to Pollenca and within easy reach of the mountains and the magnificent coastline stretching down from Formentor. Mercedes and Pedro come and look after the property for the owners and they are lovely and helpful! In summary: peaceful, idyllic, oasis-like gardens and rural charm in abundance. We hope to return soon.
