Perfectly located up a sweet cobbled side street, in the heart of Burgau, 'Casa Lisa' invites you to instantly become a part of village life. Just 75 metres from Burgau's stunning beach & 15 meters from it's 'main square' ; it is also ideally situated. With quirky, open plan living area including a double sofa (bed), dining area for 4, large flat screen TV with smart TV subscriptions and Portuguese satelitte TV & DVD player. Breakfast bar leading through to the open plan, sociable kitchen. This property has a pellet burning stove, essential for cosy winter evenings.

The kitchen is fully stocked for easy self catering, and comprises a large fridge freezer, cooker and hob, microwave, kettle, coffee pod machine,washing machine & all crockery etc.

The double bedroom contains fitted wardrobes & a chest of draws so you may pack HEAVY if you wish ;) Super comfortable double bed, fan provided in summer or a heater, spare blankets & slippers in winter. Hair dryer and hair straighteners present. We have some feather and non feather pillow options and also a feather duvet in winter...for comfort which can be switched incase of allergy, with ample notice.

Shaded mini terraces to the front & rear of this property are maximised to allow barbecuing and dining al fresco, even in the height of summer. An outdoor storage space houses many beach toys and props, masks, snorkels, body boards etc - all are for guests use.

A spacious 5 piece bathroom, with shower, bath, toilet, sink & bidet. We provide beach & house towels for each guests, and each 7 nights a full change over of these and bedding is provided.

We have the fastest possible fiber internet runs throughout the property (1000mbps) perfect for working holidays and digital nomads. With laptop working space - either at the breakfast bar or dining table, means you will have to find a new excuse to miss your working holiday deadlines!

This apartment is fully stocked to the smallest detail to allow your family to feel at home instantly and make the most of your time in Burgau... Upon arrival you will be greeted with a taste of Portugal - A bottle of the typical Portuguese green wine, and the famous sardine pate, in addition to a refreshing selection of tea's and coffee and biscuits for your complimentary arrival drinks. There is a welcome information pack crammed with recommendations on what to see/do and where to eat/drink... & leaflets on everything the whole area has to offer so you don't miss a thing (unless you wish to) The house is stacked with DVD's, CD's, books, games, beach equipment, adaptors, battery chargers etc to help you be at home instantly.

To provide maximum flexibility to families there is 'extra beds' available at the property on request. The sofa in the living room can be made into a spacious double bed. We can also provide a travel cot and bedding on request at no extra cost. Just ask what would suit your family best.

Unique residence.

Cosy, comfortable and quaint, this well appointed cottage is equipped with all the necessary equipment for a self catering holiday with its own barbecue. It is centrally located for the many cafes, bars and restaurants and is also only a stone's throw from the lovely, sandy beach. I would highly recommend it

El alojamiento se encuentra en un entorno privilegiado. A dos pasos de la playa. Si prefieres estar más tranquilo, a cinco y diez minutos en coche encontrarás lo que buscas. Puedes pasear por los acantilados, pues hay una ruta estupenda hasta la playa de luz (5km). La casa muy bien, se corresponde con la información del anuncio. La comunicación con Lisa ha sido muy fluida.

Cosy, comfortable and quaint , it is a well appointed cottage with all the equipment needed for a self catering holiday with a barbecue. It is also ideally located for the many bars, cafes and restaurants and is only a stone's throw away from the lovely, sandy beach. I would highly recommend it!

Great house with everything you need in the middle of Burgau

We (2 adults + 2 kids) spent a great week at Lisas house. Lisa is a very nice person, communication was easy, everything was prepared etc. All you may need is in the house. There is also a nice worth to read guide made by Lisa. We would definetly recommend this place:-)

We had a great stay here and even extended our stay by 1 week, the location is fantastic and got some great winter sun, The bars in town were nice and chilled which great even though it was off season it didn't feel like a ghost town.

Lovely house in a great location.

This house had everything you could need. One of the best properties we have stayed in. It's the little things that make a difference; a very comfortable sofa and bed, very clean, good water pressure, two door keys instead of the usual one and a friendly owner who lives locally. The location is spot on. Very near everything in the heart of the village and because it's off the main roads it's quiet. Would definitely stop in this property again.

A little Gem in the heart of Burgau

Lisa is lovely and so helpful, after booking to stay at Casa Lisa I had my right knee replaced and therefore couldn't drive. Lisa organised a private transfer from the airport to Burgau and also gave a hand with our suitcases as I was on crutches. When we arrived there was a welcome pack of local wine, tea, coffee and fresh milk and water in the fridge, so we didn't have to think about getting any essentials when we arrived. The villa is exactly as the pictures show with everything there you would need from a fully equipped kitchen to all towels, including beach towels. The bed is very comfortable ensuring of a good night sleep after enjoying the delights of Burgau at night. The guide to Burgau in the villa is very comprehensive and as first time visitors to this beautiful village was a great help. Lisa popped in after a few days to see if we needed anything. The villa and Burgau seems to be in a time warp as after only being there for a couple of days we felt we had been there for weeks as it is so relaxing. As a base to get around Burgau the Casa Lisa couldn’t be more central with bars, restaurants and the beach only a few minutes’ walk, even when on crutches. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Lisa and would recommend it to anyone. Once again thank you Lisa. Huw & Jane Davies

Home from Home

Perfectly based to get around Burgau and surrounding areas. The accommodation has everything you could need for a holiday and more. Lisa has thought of everything , kitchen utensils, spices and herbs for that perfect meal. DVD's and books for a relaxing evening in. Beach mats and beach towels along with a dinghy. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa, perfect hostess. We knew we could text with a question and the answer was with us soon after.. Perfect base, with prefect facilities and a perfect host :-)

Wonderful Accommodation

We have just returned from a lovely 9 night stay at Lisa's beautiful apartment. The apartment is perfect for two people and is without doubt the most comprehensively well stocked apartment we have ever stayed in, nothing was missing I just kept on finding little gems to make life easier for us. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well situated for the beaches and all of the facilities which Burgau has to offer. Lisa is an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble thank you so much for being there.

Perfect Place to Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Lisa's Beach House. It is in the heart of Burgau - everywhere is nearby! The accommodation is charming - clean,cosy and comfortable, with everything necessary provided for a relaxed holiday. Lisa is the perfect landlady - lovely personality, and on hand to answer any questions or sort out problems. We only had one problem - we couldn't light the oven - and Lisa was around within 10 minutes to sort it out! We love Burgau, and have been many times, and Lisa's place is up there with much more expensive places we have stayed in. We were trying to book again for this year but were seriously disappointed to find the accommodation fully booked apart for a few days here and there. Not surprised though - we're sure most guests would want to return, and would also recommend the Beach House to friends. Really pleased for Lisa - she deserves this level of success! Its Real

We returned to Burgau after 22yrs and it really hadn't changed much. What a delight Lisa's home turned out to be. We had a couple of reports that a property on Owners Direct had been a scam so where worried that this wasn't real. Well it certainly is!!! It is the most welcoming home with every thing you need for a holiday, including items for the beach. Lisa is lovely and helps with any problems or questions you have. The people in Burgau are friendly and most of the restaurants are good value and friendly. You must go to Barraca(The Hut) and Esquina. George and Julie at Brieze Bar on the slip will give you a lovely welcome, the English breakfast is great. We will definitely be back next year.

Lovely Casa Lisa

Booked Casa Lisa for a month well in advance. We were not sure what to expect as it was considerably cheaper than other villas we were considering, but the proximity of the village centre and beach swayed us. We were not disappointed!. The villa has an authentic feel, and is a real home with all the fixtures and fittings you need, The recent addition of a woodburner was great, allowing for many cosy nights in with a bottle or two of good local wine. The kitchen is well stocked and we were not short of anything we needed to do lots of home cooking and even baking during our stay, The bedroom was perfectly adequate with ample hanging space for a months worth of clothes in an enclosed wardrobe. The bed was VERY comfortable, which is not always the case when on holiday. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water, and the generously sized bathroom allowed us to "spread out" out toiletries. The lounge had British TV and a DVD player with some good DVDs and lots of quality books to read. The settee was comfortable, and with the woodburner in full flow, it was completely warm enough for the cold winter nights. The enclosed rear yard was cute with well thought out fixtures and even a small barbeque, which we used to cook some kebebs and local sausages. The villa is literally yards from the village centre with all its charm and restaurants. The owner, Lisa, is a lovely person, and always responded quickly to any concerns we had. All in all FANTASTIC value for money, Would I recommend it.......certainly Would I book again............certainly What would improve it.......a washing machine! (but we were there for a month, so a week or two's stay and it's no longer as necessary). Will be coming back for more for sure.

A Lovely Place to Stay!

Casa Lisa is a perfect little getaway ground floor apartment near to the beach in beautiful Burgau. The owner, Lisa, couldn't have more helpful and, as described in other reviews, the apartment is superbly equipped for a small family beach holiday! Loads of great eating places in the village, all checked out by Lisa and listed in her comprehensive visitor's folder. She also provides a handy welcome pack so you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine on arrival. We had a lovely week in a stunning location and couldn't have found a more delightful place to stay!

The perfect apartment!

We've stayed in many apartments in this gorgeous fishing village in the Algarve and this is without a doubt the best! Everything has been thought of and the attention to detail that Lisa has lovingly paid to this spotless property is remarkable. It's like staying in a family or friend's property with all the little useful extras, book collection, music and DVD's, and even emergency toiletries. We arrived late on a Wednesday night and were met by the owner Lisa to be handed the keys and shown around our apartment. This is the first time I've ever stayed somewhere where the owner (who we've never met before btw!) has personally left a bottle of wine, water, milk, tea, coffee and local biscuits as a welcome. Our 4yo slept like a log on the huge sofa bed - a real treat for her being in such a big bed to herself in the livingroom (all rooms have pull down blinds). She was beside herself in the morning when she discovered that the yard cupboard was an Aladdin's Cave of beach toys, water guns, body board, wind breakers, inflatable toys - you name it! We had a stupid amount of fun with the apartment's dinghy one day on Kabanos beach just around the corner too. It really helped make the holiday having everything on hand and being literally 2 minutes down some gorgeous little alley ways to the beautiful beach. There's no doubt the next time we're back in Bergau this is where we'll stay. We didn't have a car as we know the area and had friends nearby, however there is ample parking nearby. The village is easy to get to by bus in anycase, and is a perfect holiday for couples of all ages, with or without children. It may be small but in one week, we never managed to tick off all the things we wanted to do on our list or cram in all of our favourite restaurants sadly!

Romantic get away from the kids!

A lovely stay at Casa LIsa exactly what we needed,the apartment was better than we could of hoped for and the description doesn't do the accommodation justice. The owner was more than helpful and on hand if needed. Burgau is a lovely village with everything you could wish for in terms of restaurants and bars and if you want something more lively Lagos is 10 mins away in a car. I would definitely recommend staying at Casa Lisa if you want a worry free break and a chance to unwind.

A real find

Thius is an excellent holiday apartment in a modernised property in the old part of Burgau just a stones throw from the beach and plenty of good restaurants and bars. The house was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we could wish for and a few more besides! Although in the middle of the village it is a quiet location. So much better than all those modern apartments in the vast developments you normally find in holiday destinations. It is one of the better places we have found and we hope to stay there again.
