Three Double Bedroom Detached Chalet, Chavannes Road, Private Parking, MultiPass

Detached chalet in a quiet cul–de–sac on the Chavannes Road. 10 min easy walk to the main piste for biking or skiing, 13 min walk to the Lac, restaurant and children's play area, 15 min walk into town. Excellent, very regular, daily bus service with a night bus on demand. If you arrive by car or prefer to hire a car you can drive to the top in a few minutes (recently extended parking) and avoid town completely. You can also bike/ski right back to the chalet if you are feeling adventurous. Great views but also very close to town. The main living accommodation is laid out over 2 floors, with an additional basement level. On the ground floor, there is a spacious entrance hall, fitted pine kitchen with open plan dining area with french doors on to the south–facing deck, and bright sunny living room with patio doors on to the west–facing deck. There is also a WC and internal access to the garage. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms (2 King and 1 Twin) 2 of which have built–in cupboards and access to the west–facing balcony with views across towards the Mt Chéry. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath, separate shower room and separate WC on this level.

Magnificent stay in Chalet Les Mûres

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chalet is very cozy, proper and extremely well assorted throughout. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again. Lovely Comfortable Chalet

This chalet was perfect for our family. It was well located for access to the Trails for MTB and walking. There is also a bus stop slightly above it within a 2 minute walk which takes you to town of up to the Chavannes if you don’t want to walk. The Chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. The chalet owner, Vicky responded immediately to any questions that we had. I would not hesitate in recommending this chalet.

The property is exactly as described. It is spacious and very well maintained. The beds are extremely comfortable with lovely linen. Towels are also supplied and end of stay cleaning is included which is a real bonus. The chalet has a very warm and welcome feel and the attention to detail is excellent. Customer service was excellent throughout booking and during our stay. Les Gets is a lovely charming village and we would definitely recommend both the property and the resort.

The description of the chalet is very accurate. It is a very homely and welcoming chalet and the attention to detail is fantastic. The welcome pack is a great addition. The chalet is in a good location and a nice quiet cul de sac. It is also very well equipped throughout. Ski bus stop is within walking distance also there is access to the piste on skis a short walk away.

Comfortable chalet in great location!

The chalet is a delight - the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Lots of books, games and films. The location is a joy, walking to the village is easy, and the local free bus helps on the way back. The views from the chalet are a joy. The owners are so helpful. Wood burning stove, great shower and comfortable bathroom. Les Gets is a super family resort and we would happily come back to the chalet in any season of the year.

Our best holiday in Les Gets in 20 years!

A beautiful chalet with stunning views - truly 'home from home'. We honestly couldn't find fault in anything, the bedrooms were a really good size (proper doubles!) and very cosy, the entire chalet (especially the kitchen) was really well equipped and modern, it was easy to park, lots of storage for skis/boots etc., and the log burner was a great bonus! Vicky made everything so easy and so welcoming, and even put a Christmas tree up for us before we arrived! We have spent the last 20 Christmases in Les Gets - and this was without a doubt the best accommodation we have found. Already re-booked for next year!

Welcoming, relaxing and ultimately homely

This is the third time I have stayed at Chalet Les Mures and it again lived up to expectations. You can tell that the owner has intended it to feel like a home from home by what is supplied. Generally in my experience of self catering accommodation I find that you tend to be short of things, especially in the kitchen but not here. If you are having an evening in with a film, then the number of DVDs is endless and will keep you going quite a while. The nightlife in the town was also excellent at this time of year with some great live bands. Another great stay!

Well equipped chalet

Great chalet with lots of crockery, cutlery etc so no need to be always washing up. A small selection of herbs, spices and tea/coffee left in the kitchen cupboard. Lots of games, DVDs and CDs, plus Sky for entertainment when you're not out and about. Chalet is located a stiff 25 minute uphill walk from Les Gets, but there is a free shuttle bus that goes past every 45 minutes until approximately 6.30pm. Worth getting the Multipass via Vicky as it's so much cheaper than buying at the main ski-lift station.

Five Star!!

Nothing negative to say! The chalet was beautiful, and Les Gets was stunning. The chalet itself is situated in a handy location which would suit those with or without a car. There is a fantastic view from the chalet of the surrounding mountains, and continuing amazing views as you walk down to the village. We found the chalet to be clean and well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed - everything from kitchen ware to being well stocked with books and DVDs. We especially enjoyed the use of the table tennis table in the garage! As first time skiers, the owners were very thoughtful in providing us with all the information we needed to hire equipment and catch the lift up the slopes - as well as restaurant suggestions! This touch definitely made the holiday stress and hassle free. The lovely bottle of wine and chocolates there to greet us was a great and welcome surprise! Skiing was fantastic, but we will be returning to this same chalet in the summer, this time to try our hands at mountain biking!

Superbe location d’été pour profiter de la montagne

Le chalet est superbe bien situé et très bien aménagé. Nous étions 5, 2 adultes et trois enfants et nous avons apprécié les espace et la décoration. Les lits sont très confortables. Les GETS sont une belle destination de vacances. Il y a énormément de choses à faire et découvrir. Nous avons séjour 2 semaines et nous avons eu peu de temps morts. Les multipass sont très pratiques et permettent de se rendre en altitude e via les télécabines et télésièges et ouvrent droit à de multiples activités et réductions. Bref ravis de notre séjour !

Beau chalet agréable et fonctionnel

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans ce chalet. Il est tout à fait conforme à la description et bien équipé. Le vrai plus est sa terrasse en bois face à la verdure et à la montagne qui n’a aucun vis à vis, contrairement à beaucoup de chalets de cette zone. Les contacts avec la propriétaire ont été faciles et réactifs. A noter que pour aller dans le centre des Gets à pied, il faut compter un bon quart d’heure à l’aller et environ une demi-heure au retour puisque la montée est raide par endroits.

We live in Perthshire and have stayed in Les Gets for many years both summer and winter. Both of our children learnt to ski here and fall off their mountain bikes with style here! The skiing and mountain biking are absolutely fantastic and we found ourselves coming back year after year. This led us to take the plunge and buy a chalet. We use it ourselves out of season but in the ski and summer seasons it is run as a business with professional changeover staff. You can expect a high level of accommodation and service and we are available throughout your stay for advice on any aspect of your holiday. We aren't tour guides but we do know the area well.

Les Gets has all the facilities of a modern ski and mountain bike resort but still retains it's mountain village charm.
Everyone is friendly and even in the busiest weeks you can always find a quiet spot.
