Villa Agnantio is situated in the south part of the island of Kefalonia, this newly renovated villa offers to our guests luxury accommodation with a magnificent view in the Ionian Pelagos and unique access to the crystal clear beach underneath. “Agnantio” means the place where you gaze into the infinite blue of the sea. Our guests may enjoy this privilege, while getting spoiled by the villa’s facilities and extra services. Take advantage of Villa Agnantio’s unique location and explore the rest of this magical island, while relaxing under the Mediterranean sun and rest by sipping cocktails on your own private verandah under the light of the moon.But most importantly Villa Agnantio provides to our guests the exclusivity of the magnificent Vardiola beach through a private path solely constructed for them.

Die Ausstattung und die Lage waren wie beschrieben. Ein herzlicher Empfang mit Obstkorb und Getränken. So muß ein Inselurlaub in Griechenland sein!

Bellissima villa in posizione eccellente. La terrazza ha una vista meravigliosa.

Sistemazione ideale in un posto estremamente tranquillo. Villa provvista di tutto, ben curata ed in una posizione magnifica. La terrazza che si affaccia sul mare è splendida. In un minuto a piedi si accede alla spiaggia che è praticamente privata. La gentilezza e disponibilità di Eva è unica. Consigliatissima per chi vuol godere di una vacanza vera!

One of the best

We've stayed in many villas, and this is one of the nicest. Directions to find it weren't great (we may have missed something): turn right out of airport road, and just keep going for 3-4 mins. After a garage on right, restaurant and then car hire place on left, the road bends left, go straight on here (to Avithos? beach) (there's also a right). And then after about 400m turn right signposted Vardiola Villas and just keep going. past a few houses and then those Villas (with tennis court) and bear left round the back of next pink houses. Drop down the steep hill past the new white/grey villas and your villa is in front of you through the private gate - loads of parking. Inside, villa is lovely, all you need with excellent AC in all rooms. Lovely balcony to eat. Another seating area outside bedrooms which we didn't use, and lounge area a bit lower down with bbq, beds, and other seats. Lack of pool more than made up for by the sea and sandy beach 2 mins down a steep stepped/sloped path. You can walk 10 mins along the beach (probably past some nudists!) to the main pubic beach with 2 Tavernas. I you walk back the way you drove in, it's about 15 mins walk to nearest evening restaurant (Orange Grove, recommended) and 20 mins to nearest small, but excellent supermarket). Two more restaurants a further 5 mins walk away and loads within 5 mins car journey. We hope to return!

Villa Agnantio is a family business. It is the dream of a Kefalonian couple to have a house by the sea and enjoy the most of the beauty that this island has to offer. Now it is their wish to share this privilege with guests from around the world. The family behind the Villa wants to offer to its visitors the chance to relax under the Mediterranean sun and trully have the best out of their holidays in a calm and peaceful area.

Why they chose this property

This piece of land belonged to our great-grandfather and it was passed onto every next generation along with great respect for the scenery. It was only 10 years ago that construction works began to materialize the dream for a house on this very old family land. The house was now fully renovated to meet the needs of a contemporary traveller, while it was decorated with greek artwork that reflects the Kefalonian landscapes.

What makes this property unique

The key location of the Villa, right by the shore and at the same time so close to the capital and the airport, is highly important for its convenience. However the most important characteristic of Villa Agnantio is its unique view to the Ionian Sea.
