Ca' Leonessa is a recently (2010) restored luxury apartment located in the heart of Venice. It is a short walk from the bus and railway stations. Due to its superb location all the sites of Venice are either within walking distance or a couple of stops on the vaporetto. In the furnishing of the apartment the prime consideration has been to create a comfortable and welcoming oasis for you after a busy days sight seeing in magical Venice.

The living room (which overlooks the canal and the Campo San Barnaba) features two Natuzzi sofa's (one double sofa bed) a Linn sound system and HD television with DVD/CD player.

Both bedrooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds and have plenty of hanging/storage space in the bespoke wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a luxurious double bed with fine linens and traditional Venetian fabrics. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Both bathrooms are fully tiled with power showers.

The kitchen has been hand built and features dining for 6.

Excellent Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice. The area was great with excellent restaurants and a small market, and pharmacy around the corner. The owner and property manager were very communicative.

Location was good. We could have used more bath towels since we were there for 4 days and the bathroom drying racks didn’t work. Need to bring your own soaps and it would have been nice to have some kind of a shelf in the shower for toiletries. Lots of paint chips on the floors.

Venice stay

This property was perfect for us. Easy to get to by water bus, just a short walk from the stop. Away from the crowds but easy to access all the shops. 2 couple staying each with own bathroom perfect. Restaurants just over a bridge and the local supermarket around the corner for breakfast foods, and a little bar a stones throw away. Would highly recommend.

Lovely property in fantastic location

This property is within meters of bars, bakery, restaurants, a small supermarket, a fruit barge and is within easy walk of both the Academia and Rialto bridges. The property itself is lovely with canal views and some lovely furnishings. Communication with both owner and local agent was always very responsive and accurate. Recommendec!

Wonderful short break

Location of apartment ideal for visiting the main tourist attractions and good mix of locals and tourists around.. Apartment equipped with everything required and of high quality. Outlook over the canal was really interesting and included the famous fruit and veg barge. Wonderful baker within yards and a useful supermarket really close plus an abundance of cafes nearby. Hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Venice. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful—picturesque streets, a welcoming atmosphere, and easy access to everything we needed. There are restaurants and a grocery store very close by. The host was truly exceptional, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our stay was as smooth as possible.The home itself was lovely, though we did notice a bit of dust in the corners and around the beds. It was a minor detail that didn’t take away from the overall experience, but a little extra attention to dusting would make it even better. That said, the warmth of the host and the fantastic location made our trip truly memorable. We would certainly consider staying here again!

Great property, wonderful location!

We enjoyed our visit very much. A lovely property with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, nice bathroom and wonderful location. Our host representative was responsive and extremely helpful. Dorsoduro is quiet, full of great restaurants, a convenient grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Close to the vaporetto with easy access to airport and train station via water taxi. Two special amenities? Window screens and Sonos system! Just great!

Wonderful base for exploring Venice

We loved the unit. It provides easy access to the quieter areas & small canals of Dorsoduro, while still being close to the Grand Canal, the vaporetto, and all of the busier tourist attractions.

Fantastic location

Our family of 6 stayed here for New Years at the end of our trip to Italy. The location was great - more of a local neighborhood but walking to St Marcos square. Lots of shops and places to eat and groceries nearby. Apartment itself was good - very clean, updated bathrooms good amount of space and felt very safe. You could look out the window onto the canal and there was a fresh fruit/veggie boat right there. Host communication was wonderful and they met us on time and took us to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely flat in a wonderful location

A great place to stay in Venice. Feels like a lot of thought has gone into making the flat both stylish and homely. It's very well equipped, very clean, and both the main bed and the pull out beds were very comfortable. The aircon was The thing we really liked about the flat was the area around... Lots of good restaurants, and a decent supermarket... We liked being in a slightly less intensely touristy area but it was a walkable distance to the city centre and the Ca’ Rezzonico vaporetto stop is very close.. We'd come back :)

All the comforts of home

We stayed for 3 nights (4 adults and 1 15 year old). The apartment was exactly as described and was just the perfect size for our group. It was really hot when we were there, but the 2 A/C units were a life saver!! The location was convenient to everything, the canal market was just outside the front door, and a bakery, gelato store, and several restaurants were right around the corner. It gets a 5 star for sure!!!! Thanks Jon!
