Casa di Nonnas is a rustic farmhouse villa offering luxurious holiday rental accommodation in the Tuscan hills and comprises two buildings: the main villa and an adjacent converted barn. Please note that the two units are let together as a single rental.

The main villa's luxuriously appointed accommodation sleeps 8 and includes two king size bedrooms and one twin bedroom all of the bedrooms have en-suite. There is also a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge with use of the separate family bathroom on the same floor. The main villa also has a lounge, dining room, kitchen and utility room.

Adjacent to the main villa is the barn house which sleeps 4 and includes one double bedroom with a four poster bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. A family bathroom serves this property. The barn includes lounge, dining area and a well-equipped kitchenette.

Outside there is a stunning covered dining area which seats up to 12 people, BBQ area, and a pool bar situated at the double infinity pool

The villa is in a great location with easy access via car to Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Montecatini Terme.

Beautiful place.

Lovely place to stay. The house is comfortable and all the rooms being en suite is a great bonus. Eating outside in the evening was such a fantastic experience thanks to the wonderful view. Great trattoria in Vellano for evening meals too.

Relaxing place

As a family of 6 adults we had a very relaxing time at the villa. We loved the two pools and the beautiful view from the terasses. We had a very hot week but the house stayed relatively cool. Visits to Lucca, Montecatini and Pistoia were in reach within 30-40 minutes. A great place!

Ein schönes, landestypisches Ferienhaus. Genug Platz für eine große Familie oder zwei gemeinsam reisende Familien. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein angeschlossenes Bad. Mit den Schlafsofas in den Wohnbereichen von Haupthaus und Nebengebäude hätten bis zu 12 Personen Platz. Die Pergola im Außenbereich kann mit 3 senkrechten Markiesen so verschattet werden, dass man zu jeder Zeit draußen sitzen kann. Das eingezäunte Grundstück, eine Olivenplantage, mit Blick ins Tal ist das Beste. Der Pool mit seinen beiden Becken läd sowohl zum Relaxen als auch zum Toben ein. Immer mit einem fantastischen Blick übers Tal hinüber nach Calamari oder bergauf nach Vellano. Die Villa ist auch ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt um die anliegenden toskanischen Städte zu erkunden. Florenz und Pisa sind in etwa einer Stunde Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Der Kontakt und der Empfang vom Gastgeber waren sehr gut und unkompliziert. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Wenn man Ruhe sucht ist man hier richtig

Liegt in der Hügellandschaft mit tollem Ausblick, Natur pur. Sehr netter Empfang und super Support bei Fragen durch Marilena. Zum Essengehen und Einkaufen muss man Fahren ca. 10 min aber die Ruhe und die Lage machen das locker gut. Die Lokale in der Nähe waren alle super wenn man mal nicht selber kochen will. Gerne nochmal.

Villa Nonnas

We had a wonderfull stay at the villa Nonnas! The sceenery was fantastic. It is the place to be to relax and enjoy the nature. Although there is no Internet, we played a lot of ping-pong and swimming in the two pools was enjoyable. Of course also a lot of exploration in the neighborhood and delicious food. Now back at home in The Netherlands. When I close my eyes, I'm back at Nonnas. Thank you Maurizio for borrowing your villa for three weeks. :-)

Fabulous villa - pefect family location

We hired both vilas and were not disappointed. We ate outside most days and sat viewing the Tuscan landscape. The two infinity pools were in constant use. Thanks to Maurizio's recommendations we managed to explore much of the local area. Highly recommend Lucca and Florence. We were met by Marilena who helped make our stay go smoothly. We loved our first family holiday to Italy and much of that enjoyment stemmed from the excellent villa's we used as our base

We loved to be at Casa di Nonnas. We rented both houses from the 15th to the 22nd of July 2017. We were a family from Denmark( 6 adults and 5 children 3 to 10) The pools were great. The view fantastic. And the house is situated in a very peaceful place. There is toilet and bathroom for every single bedroom. We did not expect that! We made trips to Pisa, Lucca and Viareggio. And the small town of Pescia 10 kilometers away. We also went to the small restaurant in Vellano. ( Amasing view and very good and cheap food) Both Mauritzio Mori and Marilena were very kind and helpful, and we felt very much at home, right from the start. Great stay in a beutiful scenery

The place is most wondeful. Pictures in do not make justice to the beauty of it! Scenery is breathtaking! We spent most of our holiday swimming in the mornings and visiting several surrounding towns in the afternoons and evenings. Great location and car is a must. Garden with full of fruit trees was something we didn't expect but greeted with joy.

A fantastic Casa in the peace of the Italian hills.

A fantastic gem of a casa in a wonderful setting. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful casa. It is well equipped and very clean with plenty of space for a large family or even two family groups. We are a family of five, but all adults, so we appreciated the four double bedrooms. The bedrooms are all comfortable and having en-suite facilities in all four, and a family bedroom, is a great bonus. Although it was extremely hot whilst we were there, the casa, probably because it is old with thick walls, retained a cool interior if we kept the shutters partially closed. The main casa is an old building and there are many quirky features but this adds to the appeal. The outside table and gazebo were ideal for alfresco eating and the barbecue was good. We ate all our meals outside. The pools are fantastic! To have one infinity pool would be great, but two, and in such a wonderful setting, was just superb. The drive up from Pescia was winding with an awkward turn into the villa (which is easily overcome by following the instructions provided) and the road is obviously a well used and popular cycle route, but it is worth the drive to experience the wonderful views. I would recommend this casa to anyone wanting peace and quiet in the Italian hills and it is our hope to go back again some day.

Excellent location and villa!

We stayed here as 2 families and rented both villas. The location is stunning and the views are unbeatable. The villas are lovely too and extremely well equipped. The pools are just fantastic - we all loved them and the water temperature was perfect. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas too. Location wise, the pretty village of Vellano is 5 minutes away by car and Pescia is 15 minutes away by car. During our holiday we visited Florence, Montecatini, Collodi plus many others. If you want a chilled holiday in beautiful surroundings this is the place. The villas are up on a hillside away from any tourists which is lovely. I would also like to say how helpful Maurizio (owner) and Marilena have been. It truly was the best holiday we have had and we will definitely return. I can't recommend this place enough. It's fantastico :)

Great accommodation and location

We were very happy with the accommodation, the bedrooms were great and the two houses were perfect for 2 families. Outdoor dining was excellent and the kitchens were well equipped and the garden with fresh fruit and an amazing swimming pool with a view were the makings of a perfect Tuscany holiday. It was great to be very private but short distances to fun places to visit such as Lucca, Vellano and many others. Thanks a lot, we can only highly recommend this destiantion
