We really enjoyed our stay; the welcome from Carmine was outstanding. His availability and, above all, his recommendations were invaluable and truly enhanced our experience. The house itself lived up to the description—it was very clean and of high quality. Its location near Lucca is ideal, offering easy access to shops while still providing the peace and charm of a setting outside the city. The only minor downside was the lack of window shutters; there were only light-colored curtains that let in a lot of light, making it difficult at times for those who prefer a dark room for sleeping. Truly had such a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. We are a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 5) and this worked perfectly for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and Carmine the host was very attentive and helpful at all times. The villa is in great proximity to the main walled city of Lucca and there is plenty of space to park if you have hired cars (we had 2 cars). We all had a great time using the pool and the sunbeds and you get sun right through the day up until the evening. Would definitely recommend Carmine and this gorgeous villa.

Superb Villa under the Tuscan Sun

I just spent a couple of nights in this gorgeous villa, just 5 min drive from Lucca Old Town! The place feels homey, very comfy beds and everything you need and more than that! Gardens are well kept and everything has got the new and taken care of taste! Carmine, the host, organised for me pick up from Pisa Airport, only 25 min away! Arriving at villa, immersed in rural yet residential area, was a perfect way to start my holidays in the sunny Tuscany! Quiet area, surrounded by trees and sounds of nature. Shame I could not stay longer, but will definitely come back and make sure it’s in summer so I can also use the swimming pool! Definitely recommended and worth it!

Whether we needed recommendations or logistical help, Carmine was always ready to assist. His suggestions led us to the best day trips, restaurants, and hidden gems in the region, ensuring every day was filled with unique and memorable experiences. If we needed reservations at a popular restaurant, Carmine made them for us. When we asked about the best gelato or pastry shops, he provided insider tips that guided us to exceptional local flavors. No request was too small, and his dedication showed in the way he anticipated our needs and exceeded our expectations.Carmine also acted as a personal tour guide, sharing his favorite local spots and arranging special outings. An evening spent savoring food from a favorite restaurant was a highlight, as was the private wine tour he organized. Das Haus war perfekt für uns, sechs Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind. Alles war sehr sauber, sehr gute Handtücher und Bettwäsche, die Ausstattung war insgesamt top. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren so sauber, alles konnte super benutzt werden. Wir haben meistens selbst gekocht, der Küchenblock war einfach wunderschön und unser Zentrum.Nach dem Pool wurde täglich geschaut. Die ganze Anlage war tip top gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer Carmine reagierte immer schnell, sehr sehr nett und er war absolut hilfsbereit und konnte uns gute Tipps für Strand und Restaurants geben. Die Stadt Lucca war in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
