Villa Barbarosa has an excellent location in the heart of the Sa Talaiassa forest nature reserve, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, which is accessed through a private unpaved road, being one of the areas with the most privacy and tranquility of Formentera


It stands out for its spectacular panoramic view of the sea, the Es Cap de Barbaria Lighthouse, and Es Vedrá and Ibiza, offering the best sun and moonsets on the Island.

The interior consists of five rooms, two of them en suite, one of them with hydromassage, four have a double bed and one of them is single, all of them have air conditioning, TV, wardrobe, and mirror. Both bathrooms have double sinks.

The dining room of 45 m2 and the fully equipped kitchen connect with the solarium on the top floor, and with the main terrace, from where you can access a Chill Out with a platform, in which to contemplate the impressive views lying on a Balinese bed, and also to the garden, where the barbecue and the pool are located.

We spent 2 magical weeks at Casa Barbarosa on Formentera. Marcelo was a wonderful & caring host from the moment we booked until the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble and any minor issue (light bulbs, towels or the timings of cleaning) was quickly resolved with a smile. We would love to return to Casa Barbarosa on Formentera to enjoy this fantastic house - the sunset drinks on the roof terrace, the privacy of the whole house, the pool or the BBQ / outdoor kitchen area. Es Ram and the Migjorn beach with cocktail bars and restaurants is a 20 minute walk downhill, a little longer on the way back!!

Beautiful house in stunning setting down a track over looking bush land to the sea beyond. Lovely bedrooms, fab pool and dining areas. Marcelo was very helpful and met us all on arrival. We ordered food from FDS which was all Unpacked and easy to organise- thank you. We had organised a chef but sadly that fell through, I would recommend doing this. One thing to note is the house is at the end of a very bumpy track. Ordering taxis can be 5-55mins and most do not want to drive down the driveway. So you either wait and hope they’ll turn up or best to walk the ten mins to the end of the road and order a taxi from the main road. You can’t walk to any shops/beaches/restaurants- the only negative. Marcelo and the house are great, would recommend.

Preciosa casa en una zona privilegiada de la isla. Es una casa muy espaciosa, con amplias y distintas zonas exteriores y muy bien cuidada y mantenida, con todo el equipamiento necesario e infinidad de detalles (TV y A/C en todas las habitaciones) que hacen la estancia muy confortable y que sin duda marcan la diferencia respecto a otras casa de alquiler en Formentera. A destacar la excelente atención por parte de Marcelo, que es un gran profesional del sector.

What a perfect house for a perfect holiday

The house is literally "what you see is what you get". The pictures are stunning and it doesn't disappoint at all. Amazing views, very comfortable, with all the amenities needed. Marcelo is a perfect host, always available without being intrusive. I couldn't recommend it more, and I will for sure be back!

Espectacular. Toda la casa como las instalaciones perfectas. Marcello muy atento y poniendo todo muy fácil así como las explicaciones, está para lo que necesites. El acceso a la casa es por un camino poco asfaltado pero nada fuera de lo normal dentro de Formentera. La zona de la piscina si vas con niños muy pequeños hay que tener un poco de precaución ya que las barandas son de madera altas. Súper recomendable en todos los aspectos, tanto por vistas, como limpieza. Camas muy cómodas así como todos los utensilios de la casa en perfecto estado. Nadie cerca por lo que no molestas ni te molestan. Volveremos seguro
