Great family home of character. My property is 75 km from Paris making it an ideal destination for a Week-End with family or friends. Between Vetheuil and Giverny, on the way Impressionist this is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Enjoy my accommodation for its exceptional view of the Seine valley, its tranquility, its rustic charm and proximity to historic sites
(Castle of La Roche Guyon Claude Monet museum, Bizy Castle). Beautiful walks in perspective.

The housewas perfect for our group of 8 persons. The kirchen was well equipped. The owners were very helpfull for any question we had! For us as group of painters 🎨 we had a perfect time!

Quirky Elegance

We unexpectedly extended out stay in France and found this charming house at the last minute. Olivia coped most professionally with our late booking, was there to welcome us, and was consistently helpful, even to the extent of phoning us when the lovely local Vet forgot to give us an essential paper for our dog's return to England. Everyone comments on the stunning location: it's simply breathtaking!

So Peaceful and great for a family

We stayed here after a very fun and hectic d day anniversary week in bayeux and it was exactly what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend this place if you are traveling with kids or two or even three small families. There are several rooms and all the beds were clean and comfortable. The house feels well loved and has plenty of homey charm. However, the view you get to enjoy from the living room ( and master bedroom) elevates the entire experience so that you feel you could almost be staying in a castle. We were traveling with three young tweens and they got to have the bedroom with the three singles which suited them perfectly and they enjoyed the “trampoline with the best view in France” (If you are traveling with someone who can’t do too many stairs there is a ground level bedroom as well). The owners communicated really well and were really nice and the little towns nearby are lovely. We walked to the town of la roche guyon several times using the little trail through the woods ( a bit steep so not recommended for tender knees). The gardens, cafes, Roman ruins and chateau are fascinating and well worth a visit. Also it is a quick drive over to Giverny. Get there early and enjoy! Many thanks Richard, Olivia and Sophie!

Exceptional view and natural setting!

We echo all the previous comments about the grandeur of the views and opportunities for indoor/outdoor living. With a large group, the ability to spread out is a real plus. We appreciated the updates, especially the kitchen, which is well-stocked, clean and extremely functional. Portions of the rest of the house could benefit from similar updates, and might be described as "rustic." We happened to stay during the hottest part of the summer. Just be aware if that is the case, there are no air conditioners or fans. All in all, we recommend this family home as a place for your family/group while in France.

Maison familiale confortable, sept chambres, trois salles de bain ou douche, cuisine neuve bien équipée, grande pièce à vivre. Machines à laver et à linge performantes. Tout fonctionne bien ! La maison d'Olivia et Richard est très bien entretenue et parfaitement fonctionnelle, la vue est splendide. Parfait pour un grand bol d'air!
