Gorgeous, light, airy, spacious 2 bedrooms, 2 bath home that is just a 15-minute drive away from downtown Palm Springs. Sit outside in the evening and enjoy the brightest night sky you will see. You can brush up on the constellations from Orion’s Belt to the Pleiades or Seven Sisters hot blue & extremely luminous star cluster! Or enjoy the large solar heated pool and private Jacuzzi. Pool is running on salt not chlorine based filtration system.

With it's proximity to Palm Springs and other desert communities, you can find practically every activity imaginable to enjoy under the sun during gorgeous desert days! If you decide to stay home, please enjoy a patio misting system for extra hot days! Don't forget laid-back thermal hot springs resort Miracle Springs SPA that is located just around the corner. For centuries Desert Hot Springs Mineral water has been believed to have curative properties. Daily SPA pass is $14. The other attraction that awaits you is Joshua Tree National Park. The tranquility and peace of Joshua Tree National Park only 35 minutes away.

Our home offers your choice of spots for hanging out together: living area with mounted curved 66-inch TV. Or you might rather enjoy fine food and wine at the shaded dining table, surrounded by your loved ones and friends.

If you like to cook, you’ll love our fully stocked kitchen with all of your cooking pans and utensils.

With room for up to six guests, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom home will let everyone spread out. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The en suite master bathroom features a double sink vanity and a shower. In the other bedroom you'll find two twin beds, while the third room can accommodate two roll-away folding twin guest beds with mattresses.

We supply soaps, paper products, high-quality towels, linens and beach towels to all our guests.

And we make it easy to stay with us! Drive straight to the house and access it with a unique lock code that we give to you.

When you book, we will send you our mobile app with directions, lock code, and instructions. In the event you happen to have either questions or concerns during your stay a live assistance is available to address them.

It is your leisure time! You tell us what time you want to check in/out, not the other way around. Early check in and late check out are available upon request.

Terrific back yard and pool

Valerie is responsive and great to work with as a host. Back yard, hot tub and pool are wonderful. Protects against much of the local wind and concentrates the sun nicely. We felt safe here. Easy check-in and check-out.

Oasis in Desert Hot Springs

My family and I (kids - 15 and 11) had a great stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The backyard is amazing and a real treat since it was cooler than normal during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill was a bonus. We really appreciated the flexibility for late checkout since we had an evening flight. I would highly recommend to others traveling to the Palm Springs area!

Peaceful oasis

This was an ideal spot for our family long weekend. The house was spotless and well-appointed. It's a great location between PS and JT. The pool was lovely, although we could never manage to get the hot tub to work despite following the directions. We would absolutely recommend.

lovely home with amazing back yard and garden

fully equipped lovely home ..quiet location... rear yard is a park like garden setting with three large high producing orange trees. You will require your own media streaming account (one that is valid in USA) to use the TV. Owner was locally available and quickly responded to any questions.

A perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is comfortable and has everything we needed. The patio, pool, and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing which was exactly what we were looking for. This was the perfect place to spend Christmas (there was even a Christmas tree in the living room when we arrived!). Another plus, that we’ve never had but really appreciated, was the use of the garage to park the car in. The house is just as shown in the photos and the homeowner was very communicative. We would definitely recommend!

A Gem in DHS

We had the pleasure of staying at Valerie’s place for the month a month and absolutely loved it. Checkin was easy and we were always able to communicate effectively with Valerie. Our favourite of course was the backyard, I wish I could take it home! This is a true oasis, is very private and protected from the wind more than most homes would be. Kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and having a BBQ was great as we tend to grill quite a bit. Bed was super comfortable. Added bonus was the use of the garage, so convenient to park, unpack and added security. We wanted something quiet and away from city traffic. Desert Hot Springs is a low key small town that has all of the amenities yet is close enough for a short drive to major shopping and sightseeing. A stay at Valerie’s home is highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Just remember it is a 20+ minute drive into Palm Springs/palm Desert as the Valley is very stretched out. If you are looking for a retreat, peace and quiet and a gorgeous yard this is it! Thanks again Valerie and we will see you next year!

Terrific four weeks in this property.

Really enjoyed the quietness of this property and the layout of the backyard to fully enjoy the sun, shade, pool, jacuzzi and fruit trees. The extensive landscaping provides very nice protection from the wind on the days that blew. Valerie has been very responsive and easy to work with. We have already booked for a future stay.

Beautiful restful retreat

This home was even better than than it looked on line. Decor was a little quirky but in a nice way. Not a cookie cutter house. The backyard is beautiful and we loved getting in the spa and sitting in the sun in the morning. Very quiet. And spotless. Well appointed kitchen so if want to cook you will have what you need.

Awesome place in Palm springs - just perfect

This is a perfect property. Everything was in place, clean and functional. We loved the pool, hot tub/spa, extra towels, perfect backyard with lemon, oranges and grapefruit trees. Topped up with an excellent entertainment system, kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Stores, restaurants were within 2 mile distance. We brought our board games, but the home had some really good ones too. Extra beds in case, along with bedding. Very responsive host. If you are thinking, I'd say, just book it.

Family oasis

Wonderful backyard for a family with kids. The pool was always heated so we could utilize it no matter the weather. The property was very clean and slept two adults and two kids comfortably. It was nice to have a third bedroom but it seemed a bit of a waste. Would have been good to have another bed for a second couple or a desk to work remote. As jt was it wasn’t very useful. The property was great for us because we just wanted to lounge around with the kids but as others noted, this is not the place you want to be if you’re looking for the Palm Springs vibe.

Wonderful Get Away

This was a wonderful weekend getaway! Spent the majority of our time in the wonderful private backyard pool and spa that is perfect for lounging with plenty of options for shade for daytime use. The shallow lounge pool was great to cool off in and the salt water instead of chlorine was a major plus! The host was very gracious and worked with our needs for an early check in and check out.

Nice Weekend Getaway

Going into the 2nd year of the pandemic, we needed to get out of our house and have a change of scenery. This was the perfect place to do just that. The sun was out and we BBQ'd and swam in the pool all afternoon and then hung out and made drinks inside while enjoying tv in the evenings. It was perfect for us.

Relaxing 50th Birthday

My 3 close girl friends and i rented this home to celebrate a 50th birthday. We wanted a relaxing private environment with lots of sun and a saltwater pool and this visit gave us everything we were looking for! It is close to Joshua Tree so we could do some hiking and still make it back for relaxing by the pool later in the day. With the amount of cooking we did, we wished we had non-stick pans but other than that we truely had a wonderful trip!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had everything we needed and enjoyed the spa, sitting poolside for breakfast or a glass of wine, ordering local Indian food from grubhub, and watching movies in the evening in the comfortable living room area. Short 20 minute drive over to Palm Springs.
