A Dream Vacation!

I cannot express enough how satisfied my family and I were with this home. The house itself is an absolute dream! From the interior design to the exterior to the amazing porches overlooking the inter coastal water! We were completed accommodated with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, beach wagon, games..you name it, and it’s available for you. I literally had zero concerns or complaints about this home. You don’t find the perfect vacation rental every day but this one is PERFECT! Kathy and Dave were extremely helpful and a delight to rent from. My family and I are already planning our next stay at this home and we hope to start a new tradition here! Thank you Kathy and Dave! You will not regret booking this home..so don’t miss out!

Fabulous Home

We had already spent a week on the beach side with a large group and were ready for some down time. This home was perfect for relaxing and taking in the magnificent views from the many porches. Walking out on the dock to watch the dolphins was a highlight. This home was super clean and beautifully appointed. The elevator came in handy for my elderly father and luggage.

Welcoming, cozy, exceptionally manicured, & picturesque come to mind to describe this oasis!

We had an amazing time!!! This home and our experience warrants a 10 Star Review! The owners were responsive the entire time but went above and beyond prior to our trip by answering all our questions, even provided current information regarding Folly Beach, boat rentals, etc. Upon arrival, the house was immaculate. Everything you could ever need during a vacation was available to include instructions for all the latest technologies. Their thoughtfulness with extra towels, instructions, updates, etc....where to go, what to do, made this trip! All eight of us enjoyed ourselves. There was some level of entertainment for everyone. From the gorgeous pool, to shuffle board, ring toss, corn hole, to fishing off the dock, we all enjoyed ourselves. This place caters to all ages from toddlers to teens to adults. Thank you so much for opening your house to us! The memories from this vacation will last forever.

Best Vacation Yet!

This is not a nicer place you could stay on Folly Beach. We absolutely loved it here. Our whole family felt right at home. Our boys loved swimming in the pool and fishing off the dock. Kathy has equipped the house with everything you need to cook a great meal or go to the beach. Every evening we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and watching the tides come in.

Beautiful Vacation Home!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Folly Beach and this house was the best part of it all! It has everything you need plus some! The house is very clean and very well stocked with beach toys and other beach necessities. The pool was perfect for us. We had 6 adults and a 14 month old. The shuffleboard game was a big hit with all of us. The decks all have something different to offer and we used them all. The owners were available for any questions we had and were very accommodating. We would highly recommend this house for your next vacation!!!

Upon retirement we built our dream home near our grandchildren. We love the outdoors and enjoy the panoramic and simply stunningly peaceful views. I have sat on the dock watching pelicans dive for fish and dolphins swim by.

Why they chose this property

Enjoy all the amenities of Folly Beach as well as downtown Charleston, a mere 20 minute drive.

We are an easy 3 minute stroll to the beach and are known for good fishing and gorgeous sunsets. The pool is our crowning touch. Fresh breezes flow from both the "river" and the ocean, and the pool is shaded in the morning and also late afternoon by the surrounding palm trees (we have 26 palms).

The private deep water dock is shared with one neighbor. Their boat is on the lift. There is plenty of room for dockage as well as dock blocks for ease of water access for kayaks and paddle boards. Do be cognizant of the strength of the tides.

We often walk to the County Park (1/4 mile) and to the pier (1.2 miles on the beach). The Folly "River" offers a delightful coastal blending of ocean and fresh waters with myriad birds and sea life.
