Although I did not meet Diandra we did communicate easily and the apartment was left clean and tidy. I am pleased that the place was enjoyed as it is very important to me that guests have a good experience.
It is much quicker to get to the river by bus if guests prefer not to walk, the nearest bus stop or train station is only a few minutes walk from the apartment

Amazing stay
Staying at Debbie’s was wonderful! The neighborhood in Shoreditch area was perfect for us as it had so many great places to eat and explore. We enjoyed lots of markets in the area and great bars. We also had easy access to a bus stop (5 min walk away) and a tube station (7-10 min walks) depending where else in the city we needed to go to on this trip. We were amazed at what a great location this was. The place itself was beautiful and felt spacious for 4 people. Living room area was the best with giant glass windows to let the light in while we all hung around the couches. Highly highly recommend was a cozy 8 day stay for us! Would come again!

Short London Break
Great location in London with Liverpool Street station only 20 min walk and Shoreditch High Street station only 10mins walk for links into London. The flat itself is situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, we were there for 3 nights and didnt see a soul. Trendy Columbia Road just 2 mins away with nice bars, querky shops and cafes and the flower market on sunday was well worth a visit.
Debbie was a fab host and was in consent contact making sure we had everything and if we had any questions of the local area.
I would highly recommend staying at Debbies and on our next visit to London we will be looking her flat again.

the location of the apartment is good and the host is very nice. But the apartment itself is in a terrible condition and it was not cleaned properly for a very very long time.
I do not recommend this apartment to anyone who likes it remotely clean...

I am sorry that Margarete felt this way. I only wish she had let me know whilst at the apartment and I would have gone there and tried to rectify what was not cleaned. In a private message she said there was dust under the bed, the kettle had some residue in it and the toaster, toast crumbs.
The apartment does need work, the kitchen and bathroom are not great and I am in the process of organising a complete refit. It is cleaned everytime a new guest arrives but since this message I have had a deeper clean.
I have reduced my pricing quite considerably to reflect this.
I do warn guests before booking.
If you are looking for a new, pristine, immaculate apartment then this is not for you, if you are looking for somewhere in the heart of London at a very reasonable price where the aesthetics of kitchen and bathroom are not so great then this is a great place to stay

Clean and Spacious 2-BR Flat
The property was very clean. The homeowner was very pleasant and easy to work with; she had some food and other supplies available which was very nice of her. The flat was large, but old. It was great to have to much space and two bedrooms. It was somewhat convenient to the overground station (5-minute walk) and major underground station (15-minute walk). The kitchen and bathroom was old and need restoration, but they were very clean. Had a washing machine, but not a dryer. Well equipped overall, but a microwave would have been nice. It would have helped had the homeowner gone over the flat with us and showed us how to use everything. We could only find one TV channel, for example.

5-Tage Trip
Debbie als Vermieterin war wirklich zuvorkommend. Jedoch war die Wohnung in einem miserablem Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich heruntergekommen. Die Wohnung war schmutzig, dreckig an ganz vielen Stellen, Schimmel im Badezimmer, echt unakzeptierbar. In der Wohnung waren Lebensmittel verblieben, die wir nutzen konnten. Die aus dem Kühlschrank haben wir natürlich weggeschmissen. Bei beiden Betten auf dem Foto liegen die Lattenroste auf dem Boden. Unfassbar, das man si etwas zur Vermietung anbietet. Da wir mit dem Auto gekommen sind, haben wir von Debbie einen Parkplatz für 12 Pfund pro Tag angeboten bekommen, zahlbar nur in bar. Der Aufenthalt in der Stadt war wunderschön und mit den Gegebenheiten haben wir uns arrangiert.

Nous avons avec deux amis logé dans cet appartement une petite semaine autour du réveillon. L'appartement est joliement décoré (merci pour les fleurs) et bien équipé. L'emplacement au coeur du quartier de Shoreditch est tres bien. Tres belle vue sur le centre ville. Debbie nous a bien aidé. Cuisine un peu ancienne mais cela conviens bien.

Great place for a London get away
Great city views, good transport links with Old Street Underground, an eight-minute walk, and bus routes into London. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean. The owner even allowed us to use the pantry items. We arrived in London on the night of an underground strike, and the owner gave us good directions to the property and was waiting with a smile, even though we arrived late.
The area has excellent local markets; if you are there on a Sunday, you must go to Columbia Road, near the property. It is a flower market, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The local shops also have food and collectables. You can easily eat your way down the market. We came from the US, and while we couldn't take flowers back, we did bring back some great dried flowers (they are allowed into the US, with custom officer discretion).
This is a great place to stay and gives you excellent access to London. Don't let appearances deceive you.

Perfect vacation!
Right from the get-go it was super easy communicating with Debbie. She was always quick to reply and very hospitable. From the moment we arrived, the instructions were spot-on and made it easy for us to navigate.
We had a great time in London this summers, and the apartment had a big part in making it a perfect experience. It was our first vacation since Covid years and we were hoping it would be a nice place to stay and enjoy London. Would love to be back here, soon. And definitely love to stay at Debbie’s.

Really good location, and communication with host really good.
Maybe the listing could be a little clearer to highlight it's in a high-rise, as that's the only thing we weren't expecting.
Did find it also a little odd there were lots of possessions around, but maybe that's because we've never used VRBO, and didn't expect it to not be a place just for letting out
