Jasmin House - Cottage

Old stone house, fully restored with 2 bedrooms (2 single beds each), complete bathroom, living room with fireplace, hall and living room and fully equipped kitchen with tiled stove; all rooms have oil heaters. Covered shed with barbecue and wood oven for dining and leisure, patio, old threshing floor, swimming pool (sun exposure from 8 am to 8 pm), garden and orchard, with a resting place and reading, at the top.
At the bottom of the garden is an annex (Casa do Orchard) with a 2-bed room, a living room that can be transformed into a 2-bed room, a complete bathroom with a shower. This annex is not included in the price of the main house, it is rented separately.

Fantastic house

The friendly owners welcomed us with cakes,wine and sandwiches. The house is wonderfull with a nice atmosphere near the beautifull town Coimbra. We loved to sit outside at night.

Lovely Accommodation, particularly the outside kitchen and lounge area.

The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13 motorway - the motorway is quite close to the house and you can clearly hear the cars all the time but especially at peak times so if you want total tranquility I would suggest you look elsewhere. The owners were friendly and very quick to answer our questions / emails before and during our stay. They met us to let us into the property and came to collect the keys and see us off at the end. We would definitely recommend this property.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen.Die Lage des Objektes ist einmalig.Wir waren mit dem Auto da und konnten so problemlos Ausflüge planen.Der WLAN - Empfang ist nicht in allen Räumen möglich, so konnte man mal wieder erholsamen Freizeitbeschäftigungen frönen.

Ruime privé woning

Deze woning biedt volop privacy en heeft prachtige buitenruimten met een mooie buiten-keuken met koelkast, bbq en pizza oven, en een ruime lounge hoek. Het zwembad is top met gras eromheen. De binnenwoning is sfeervol, maar druk ingericht: staat vol met stoffige prullaria, dus niet zo geschikt voor mensen met een huisstof allergie. De keuken bevat een oven en afwasmachine, maar ruikt muf.

Bauernhaus in den Weinbergen

Schönes altes Bauernhaus mit toller Außenküche auf großem Grundstück. Man ist einsam und die Nachbarn haben wir nie zu Gesicht bekommen. Allerdings gibt es in der Nähe weder Bäcker noch Geschäfte oder ein Restaurant. Mit dem Auto alles kein Problem. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht. Die Autobahn ist nah und immer leer.

Comfortable house

Friendly Reception by the ownners. There were groceries and Portugese pastries as a welcome. Nice covered outdoor kitchen. Several terraces, also with shade. You can make nice walks. Not many interesting villages nearby (besides Coimbra and Figuera). You see the A13 from the terrace, that’s a little remark. But far enough that the noise doesn’t bother. Many steps in and around the house, so not convenient for people that cannot walk well.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit Pool und großartigem Außenbereich

Die netten Vermieter empfingen uns mit portugiesischen Spezialitäten zum probieren. Das Haus ist rustikal eingerichtet, fast ein wenig zu kitschig. Besonders gefallen hat uns der überdachte Außenbereich, der mit Grill und Steinofen ausgestattet ist! Im Pool kann man sich an heißen Tagen abkühlen. Der Vermieter schickte uns sogar eine vergessene Uhr nach Deutschland zurück, vielen Dank dafür! Einzig die Betten im kleineren Schlafzimmer sollten mal ausgetauscht werden. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen!

Uma casa de campo às portas de Coimbra

A propriedade é muito agradável e bastante valorizada pelo jardim e espaço de vida exterior (alpendre, piscina, jardim, pomar). É uma casa para se viver o exterior e bem preparada para isso. O interior, sendo agradável e com o toque rústico de uma casa antiga ainda com elementos de pedra, não deixa de ser bastante escuro e por isso menos convidativo. As acessibilidades à casa são boas pela auto estrada/ SCUT (€0.75) mas ainda fica a uns bons 20 minutos de Coimbra. Infelizmente não há muito por onde passear a pé nas imediações da casa apesar de ser uma paisagem bastante cénica (recomendo a visita à bio-reserva Milvoz muito próximo). Recomendo para passar uns dias entre o campo e a cidade com o privilégio de um belo jardim e piscina.

Casa de campo

É uma propriedade muito agradável, com uma boa decoração e com muito sossego. A casa é antiga de pedra, não tivemos muita sorte porque, apanhamos temperaturas muito altas quando lá estivemos, o que fez com que a casa fosse muito quente e sem ar condicionado. Tinha sim ventoinhas, mas, coitadas não deram conta do recado, o que fez que as noites fossem muito quentes e difíceis. Mas no geral tirando uma formiga ou outra sendo cada de campo recomendo a casa...

Lamentamos a azar que tiveram no fim de semana de 40 graus, do mês de julho mais quente de sempre em Portugal. Há 20 anos que cá passamos férias de  verão e raramente tivemos de usar as ventoinhas de tecto e móveis. Como a casa é toda em pedra, é sempre muito fresca, principalmente no rés-do- chão.  Foi nosso objectivo manter a traça antiga da casa, não a desfeando com aparelhos inestéticos.

Magnifique propriété, calme etc....tout était parfait y compris l'accueil . Maison au cœur d'une vallée paisible, les propriétaires aux petits soins pour nous conseiller des balades, des restaurants....pas d'hésitation !!!!
