A place to frei good and relax

A beautiful house on the edge of a small village that leaves nothing to be desired. Excursions to the area as well as beach stays complete the stay. Emannuil and Dimitris are very warm-hearted and dear landlords. We felt very welcome and comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

Nice calm place in Petrokefali's periphery

We spent a really relaxing and nice holiday (2 weeks) in Aloni House. The house is spacious for two persons with its two sleeping rooms and the its living room/kitchen area and offers two terraces and a spacious garden on top. The kitchen - we like to cook from time to time, so for us it is important :-) - is very well equipped. Emmanouil and his son Dimitris are very kind persons and brought even more fruits with them when showing up for changing a bulb (after roundabout one hour drive!), adding to the fruits in the fridge we found at our arrival. Everything in the house may be used, which we found especially generous and helpful - THANKS to our landlords again - we loved being there! only disadvantage of Aloni house: You cannot see the sea, because there are hills between the house and the sea. But we had a car (strongly recommended) and so this was only a small disadvantage ;-)

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Jugendliche) waren mit dem Ferienhaus und den Vermietern außerordentlich zufrieden. Buchung, Anreise spät abends, Übernahme und Abreise früh morgens waren denkbar unkompliziert und zuverlässig gestaltet. Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter haben uns persönlich besucht und in allem unterstützt und extra Wünsche möglich gemacht. Im Kühlschrank fanden wir Früchte und Eier als nette Geste vor, vielen Dank dafür!Das Haus selbst ist sehr solide, sauber und modern. Ein Auto kann man auf dem Grundstück abstellen, ein Tor schließt das Grundstück ab. Aller für die Selbstverpflegung erforderliche Hausrat und vieles mehr ist vorhanden, es gab keinerlei Mängel oder Einschränkungen.Die Lage ist sehr ruhig am Rande von Petrokefali. Bemerkenswert viele wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten (minoische Ausgrabungen, Klöster, Kirchen) sind in naher und nächster Umgebung vorhanden, auch zum Meer sind es nur 10 km.Wir danken Emmanouil und Dimitris nochmals für die freundliche Aufnahme und die schöne Zeit in Ihrem Haus!Volkmar Richter

Ein Traum mit Haken

Eines der besten Ferienhäuser jemals. Da könnte man es auch auf Dauer aushalten. Großzügig geschnitten, voll ausgestattet, Klimaanlage in allen Räumen. Alles top und alles funktioniert (Geschirr ist immer ein Thema). Nahe der Hauptstraße und doch ganz ruhig. Kleiner Garten, aber schön fürs Auge. Mit Rolltor gesichert. Wir waren voll begeistert. Leider gibt es einen Haken. Das Grundstück wird mit Webcams überwacht. Das verursacht bei mir ein schlechtes Gefühl. Drei davon waren ziemlich offensichtlich, aber es könnte noch mehrere geben. Eine davon schaut genau auf das Küchenfenster. Es gab keinen Hinweis vom Vermieter und es ist auch nicht zu erkennen, ob und wann diese Kameras eingeschaltet sind. Schade, keine Zukunft für uns hier. Die europäische Datenschutzverordnung sollte eigentlich auch für Griechenland gelten.

We are glad that you liked the house! The house has 1 double and 1 single camera in the outdoors. Which operate when there are no guests in the place. When guests check-in and during the stay, only the camera that looks at the grass operates to check the grass if it is watered. If you didn't want the cameras, you could tell us and you could unplug them. Without any problem. In your case, we had forgotten to unplug the double camera. If guests want to keep the cameras for security reasons, they can do so. If they don't want the cameras, they can unplug them. There is no problem.

Wunderbar!

Wir haben die Zeit im Aloni Home sehr genossen. Das schöne Haus mit Terrasse und Garten ist ideal für einen erholsamen Familienurlaub auf Kreta. Mit dem Auto, das dort wirklich empfehlenswert ist, sind der Strand und die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten bestens zu erreichen. Im Ort gibt es ein paar sehr nette Tavernen und kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Immer wieder gerne!

Un lieu enchanteur entre oliviers et montagne

Il faut s’imaginer assis sur la terrasse, elle est couverte par une large pergola, ce qui la rend fraîche au moment de la chaleur. En face se trouvent deux amples palmiers qui forment un cadre majestueux, des champs d’oliviers la bordent comme une protection, à l’horizon on aperçoit des montagnes. C’est un vrai plaisir d’y passer du temps, pour les repas, l’apéritif, lire, bavarder. La maison elle-même est spacieuse, fonctionnelle, judicieusement aménagée, offrant tout ce qui est utile pour une vie plaisante. L’emplacement pour la voiture est protégé du soleil. La route est en contrebas, séparée par un jardin, on entend à peine les rares voitures qui passent. Bakeries et supermarkets se trouvent à 10-15 minutes de voiture, à Mires ou, plus agréable, à Timbaki. Restaurants à 5-10 minutes à Sivas, le meilleur étant Sigelakis (on y a dîné 3 fois sur 5 lors du séjour). Quant aux sites antiques, aux monastères, aux petites églises avec fresques du 14ème siècle, ils sont nombreux à proximité, tout comme Matala et ses nostalgies, les plages et bords de mer. Le lien avec Dimitris a été simple, direct, et confiant. Revenir dans cette région de Crête serait pour nous revenir dans cette maison où nous avons été si bien.

Nettes Haus mit gepflegtem Garten

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und zwei erholsame Urlaubswochen verbracht. Alles Wesentliche ist vorhanden, das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, es gibt herrliche Zitronen vom Baum. Alle Räume sind klimatisiert, was bei Außentemperaturen von 40 Grad auch nötig war. Falls es wichtig sein sollte: Man bekommt deutsches Fernsehen über Satellit einwandfrei, wir saßen aber meistens lieber draußen auf der Terrasse und haben den Abend ausklingen lassen. Von Petrokefali kommt man mit dem Auto, das unbedingt erforderlich ist, in kurzer Zeit an diverse Strände und zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zum Essen sind wir meist in die umliegenden Orte gefahren. Dimitris und Emmanouil sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber und immer ansprechbar. Die ruhige Lage des Hauses wurde allerdings durch Bauarbeiten am Nachbargrundstück etwas beeinträchtigt.

Wunderbarer, erholsamer Kreta-Urlaub mit Kids

Am schönsten war für uns der toll angelegte Garten des Hauses. Die Jungs (6 und 8 Jahre) hatten dort genügend Platz zum Spielen und wir Erwachsene konnten in der Hängematte oder auf der Hollywoodschaukel relaxen. Im Garten gab es Orangen, Zitronen und Mandarinen und Emmanuel und sein Sohn Dimitris waren sehr gastfreundlich. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen am Dorfrand. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Strände zu entdecken und auch viele Möglichkeiten für größere und kleinere Wanderungen. Perfekt für alle, die Erholung suchen!

Schönes, geräumiges Haus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist groß, wunderbar gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet, inklusive Klimaanlage. Der Besitzer lebt im Winter hier selbst und das ist spürbar. Zur Begrüßung lag eine gut gefüllte Obstschale im Kühlschrank. Das Haus ist exakt so, wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos gezeigt. Die Terrasse ist wunderbar sonnengeschützt und bietet den ganzen Tag Schatten. Dazu eine Hängematte unter Palmendach. Der Besitzer und sein Sohn sind super nett und extrem gastfreundlich. Sie haben mir sogar ein Fahrrad hingestellt, als ich nach einem Verleih gefragt habe. Das Haus mitsamt dem schönen Garten liegt am Rand einer Nebenstraße des kleinen Dorfes Petrokefali. Zu Fuß sind drei einfache, aber gute Tavernen, ein Bäcker, Käseladen und zwei kleine Supermärkte zu erreichen. Im größeren Mires gibt es 10min entfernt große Supermärkte. Ein Auto ist zwingend notwendig, aber dann sind wesentliche Ausflugsziele im Süden der Insel gut zu erreichen. Zum Strand nach Matala z.B sind es ja 15min. Wer Ruhe sucht und Lust hat Land und Leute zu erkunden, aber auch den Strand genießen möchte ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser kennengelernt, aber dies ist das schönste.

Traumhaft schön und sehr herzlich

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Schmuckstück am südlichen Ende des Dorfes Petrokefali und all unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Der Eigentümer Emmanuel hat uns eingeladen alle Einrichtungen im Hause zu nutzen. Bei einem Besuch hat er uns frische Hühnereier und eine Pizza mitgebracht.

Une maison très confortable au sud de la Crète, entre mer et sites à visiter

Excellent accueil , très attentif et chaleureux pour ce séjour dans une maison tout confort, très bien équipée; elle est située dans un village au calme, à l'écart des foules touristiques , mais tout près de la mer et des divers sites archéologiques qui font la réputation de cette région de la Crète. Ce fut une excellente occasion de rencontrer une vraie Grèce, par l'intermédiaire du propriétaire, très disponible .

Superbe séjour dans cette maison !

Nous avons séjourné dans la maison d'Emmanuelle en août 2022 et nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location ! Tout d'abord la maison en elle-même est très fonctionnelle, spacieuse, parfaitement équipée. On s'y sent immédiatement à l'aise. Le jardin est très mignon, clôt (pratique lorsque l'on a des petits enfants) avec de la vigne, des citronniers, des herbes, un four à Pizza, etc...avec le coucher de soleil en fin de journée c'est magnifique ! La localisation est elle aussi hyper agréable puisque la maison est entourée de champs d'oliviers. Le mini centre de Petrokefali est à même pas 10 minutes à pieds. Et puis le reste de la région est magnifique, la plage à moins de 15 min en voiture. La communication avec Emmanuel et Elizabeth a été très fluide et même plus que ça puisque Emmanuel a eu la gentillesse de nous faire part de son savoir faire de cuisinier, en venant nous montrer comment faire des pizza dans son four à bois. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location, nous y avons passé 10 jours absolument merveilleux et nous y retournerons si nous en avons l'occasion !

Super netter Vermieter, reibungsloser Ablauf und ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes Haus und Grundstück. Total flexibler Vermieter, wir (2 Erwachsene & 2 Kleinkinder) konnten am letzten Tag abreisen wann wir wollten, was perfekt war, da der Flug erst am Abend ging. Vielen Dank, sehr gern wieder!!!!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Haus Aloni. Der freundliche Empfang und die Hilfsbereitschaft von Elizabeth, zur Begrüßung ein Kühlschrank mit den leckersten Früchten, die voll ausgestattete Küche, die sehr sauberen Räume und die ruhige Lage des Hauses - alles hat zum Gelingen eines erholsamen Urlaubes beigetragen. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: ein Satelit-Fernseher ist als Ausstattung ausgewiesen, wir konnte aber nur griechische Programme empfangen. W-Lan hat ausgezeichnet funktioniert. Das Haus können wir bestens weiterempfehlen.

Comfortable .clean,well situated with the most helpful agent Elli you could possibly hope for.

Set in private garden but within 5 mins walk of shops/café/restaurant this is a lovely property. About 1hour from the airport but in a rural environment it is within 10 mins of beaches and a lot of fascinating archaeological sites and within easy driving distance of many amazing mountain villages. You really need a car but all the local people we met and talked to were lovely and helpful. Ripe grapes over the carport,great selection of herbs in the garden I can't fault it, Shan and Steve Burston North Wales
