The 100sqm house is on one level.

Entering from the main door we find a large room that houses the living area, which gives direct access to a modern kitchen equipped in every detail.

We have three bedrooms, two of which are double and one single, and two bathrooms. The villa has central air conditioning in every room.

The house, with a modern and refined design, enjoys all the services.

Outside the villa is surrounded by a large garden with centuries-old olive trees, where you can spend the days, relaxing in the sun or enjoying the typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine.

In the beautiful Mediterranean garden, our newly built swimming pool rises majestically for EXCLUSIVE use of the villa.

With its 10mt length and 6mt width, the pool fits harmoniously into the natural context with an infinity effect that relaxes body and mind, to spend moments of pure relaxation given by the sound of the continuous flow of water.

There is only the possibility of being able to enjoy the splendid view of the centuries-old olive trees in the well-kept garden in every single part.

Wonderful opportunity to be able to enjoy wonderful walks in the neighboring area that allows you to get to the beach located just a few steps from the villa.

Spacious and modern Villa within a 15 min drive of Cefalu and with a fantastic outdoor pool and BBQ area. Really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend for families or couples looking for somewhere quiet and a bit off the beaten track. Note there is a separate charge of EUR for cleaning which is payable in cash.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Monica. The house is cool and airy and well equipped with a central air conditioning system and most windows have very effective insect screens - infact, because of this, we could leave windows open for air flow and didn't need to use the air con much. The pool and outside areas were super for sun worshipping or relaxing in the shade and we loved being so close (a few minutes walk) from the quiet, unspoilt beach (We swam in the sea every day). A car is necessary as the nearest bakery, supermarkets, restaurants, though convenient, are a short drive away. Cefalu is easy to get to by car (about 15 minute drive) and is a busy vibrant town with shops, restaurants, cafes - we visited two or three times during our week's stay. It's worth getting up early to climb le roc for the fantastic views. Palermo is just a 50 minute train ride from Cefalu and trains run regularly, so it's an easy day trip. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and easy to contact.

Cefalu break

Monica's villa is a great place for 4 adults to base themselves to enjoy the surrounding area. Pretty little Cefalu only a 10 minute drive away and bustling Palermo about an hour . The villa was well equipped and had the added benefit of a lovely pool and outside area plus a beach was only about 2 minutes walk from the place ! Would recommend.

A pool of dreams!

Whilst the house needed some attention in terms of cleanliness and amenities, the garden and pool area more than made up for it. The pool is perfect, and we had a fantastic time in it. We had a few issues in the house (lost power) and a wasp nest in the garden, and the host was quick to offer help, even though they very recently had a baby! The house is within walking distance to a beautiful rocky beach which the kids loved. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance so you do need a car to get anywhere. Beware, August is an extremely busy time in Cefalù, the beaches and car parks are super busy and it takes quite a while to drive into town. The beach near by the house is a hidden gem and therefore never busy! We loved our stay and hope to visit Sicily again in the future.

Disappointing Stay at Villa Monica

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience. We booked Villa Monica expecting a peaceful and private getaway, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.One of the biggest issues was that four gardeners arrived at 7am and stayed well into the afternoon, completely taking over the garden and pool area, making it impossible for us to use the outdoor space, which was one of reasons we chose this villa. When I raised the issue with Monica, she explained the work had been scheduled and couldn’t be changed, but there was no effort to make up for the disruption. I asked about a partial refund or a late checkout to make up for the inconvenience but neither was accommodated in a practical or helpful way. Then, on our last morning, the cleaner arrived at 7am to start cleaning the garden and stayed until we checked out — and again, we weren’t able to use the pool or outside area.On top of that, the villa itself was not very clean. It felt damp, and there was visible black mould in both the bedrooms and living room. I actually couldn’t sleep in either of the main bedrooms because it disturbed my asthma. The towels and sheets also didn’t feel fresh or properly cleaned.Overall, this stay felt far below the standard we were promised. We expected a private, comfortable space — not to be disrupted by workers and deal with cleanliness and health concerns. I wouldn’t recommend Villa Monica unless some serious improvements are made.

I was expecting your negative review, as you had warned me. The reason is clear regarding your unfair and blackmailing request to receive some money back. The issue with the gardeners who were present one morning to keep the garden tidy is not true as they were present in the early part of the morning. You raised the problem and we told you that you could use the pool area on the day of departure, which you still did not do. Your intent was to create a case for money. You forget the fact that to find the villa in order and clean, as we are used to, it requires a group of people to clean in the morning so that everything is ready by 14:00. I do not intend to respond to your other accusations as they are the result of not getting the money back with a blackmailing attitude. For the rest, the other customer reviews about Villa Monica are enough.

Toller, entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Monica sehr genossen. Alles war sauber, die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt (fast) überall Fliegengitter an den Fenstern und es gibt eine Waschmaschine :-).Der Pool ist toll und hat den Kindern und uns Erwachsenen super gut gefallen. Der Garten ist entspannt.An den nächsten Strand geht man nur ca. 5 Minuten. Er ist sehr schön, aber es gibt dort keine Liegen oder Restaurants, dafür muss man ca. 30 Min. laufen.Cefalu ist mit dem Auto aber auch nicht weit weg, ca. 10 Min.Wir können das Haus und die Lage auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Belle maison proche de Cefalu

Propriétaire agréable et disponible.Pas de soucis pour la location, tout est très propre et fonctionnel et correspond aux photos. Belle piscine à débordement mais en Avril encore trop froide pour nager. Il y a une machine à café avec dosettes mais pas possible d'en trouver à Cefalu. La marque est : Segni d'Arte. Apparemment elles se vendent sur internet seulement. Dans la maison il y a beaucoup de prise électrique type L et nos prises de type E et F ne rentrent pas dedans. Des adaptateurs seront les bienvenus pour ne pas faire de casse ( Magasin chinois Via Roma 124 ). Voir https://particuliers.alpiq.fr/guide-energie/entretien-et-equipements/normes-types-prises-monde - Le chauffage fonctionne bien. Nous avons visité Palerme et nous y sommes allé en train et je le recommande 45 min. Visiter Messine en train est aussi possible 2H. La literie est agréable. Matériel en cuisine largement suffisant. Internet a un débit correct 20Mbits lors de notre séjour. Le petit plus dans la maison serait un lave-vaiselle mais ou le mettre ???

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen, das Haus ist sauber und die Lage am Meer sehr schön. Ohne Auto ist dieses Objekt jedoch nicht zu erreichen, für uns nicht schlimm, da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind. Einziges Manko, aus den Duschen läuft ständig das Wasser heraus, da diese undicht sind. Insgesamt können wir das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen!

Traumurlaub im September

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche und vor allem im wunderbaren Garten der Villa Monica! Über den Pool ist bereits alles gesagt worden: Ein Traum für Vielschwimmer wie wir! ( Danke auch dafür ihn so zu bauen, dass so viele der uralten Olivenbäume auf dem gesamten Grundstück erhalten blieben ). Ergänzend zum Baulärm können wir nur sagen: Das Haus nebenan ist fertig - also absolute Ruhe! Der Busverkehr zum Hotel hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört ( allerdings hat uns die Häufigkeit des Rettungswageneinsatzes zum besagten Hotel zu denken und eher Rätsel aufgegeben )… Im Haus gibt es nun Mückengitter an Fenster und Gartentür ( im Badezimmer wäre auch noch super 😉), was aber die Mücken sowieso nicht davon abgehalten hat uns draußen zu verspeisen ( also am besten wieder in den Pool springen) 🙃 Es ist aber sooo erholsam die kleinen Plagegeister nicht nachts im Schlafzimmer um die Ohren zu haben - also danke dafür! Wir hatten jedenfalls alles was wir brauchten ( die vielen Handtücher waren toll und auch in der Küche hat es uns an nichts gefehlt ), um eine herrliche Urlaubszeit zu verbringen ( inclusive der intensiven liebevollen Rundumbetreuung durch den kleinen schwarzen Kater, der sehr wohlerzogen brav draußen vor der Türe sitzen blieb ) 🐈‍⬛❤️

Une maison avec un jardin magnifique

Alors parlons tout de suite des points négatifs comme ca, ca sera fait. Si vous louez cette villa : - il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle - il faut une voiture car en dehors de Cefalù - je n'ai toujours pas compris la logique du gars qui a fait l'électricité (le bouton de droite allume la lumière de gauche lol) - si je trouve d'autres points négatifs ... je modifierai Alors les points positifs : Le jardin est juste magnifique. Les vieux oliviers, la piscine à débordement (avec les hirondelles, pigeons, tourterelles, libellules qui viennent y boire) .... Le canapé extérieur très très confortable pour faire la sieste à l'ombre d'un olivier .... hum .... génial. La maison est tout aussi géniale. La climatisation centralisée (rien à voir avec les climatisations bruyante). Très bien équipée (sauf lave vaisselle donc), machine à café, toute la vaisselle nécessaire. Très bonne literie. Wifi très efficace même dans le jardin. Portail électrique. Enfin bref, une villa exceptionnelle pour y passer des vacances ... mêmes longues (nous y sommes restés 1 mois). Schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Pool

Das Haus bietet grundsätzlich alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und der Pool wirklich einzigartig. Cefalù ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Leider wurde jedoch direkt auf dem Nachbargrundstück gebaut, was zwischen 7 Uhr morgens und 17 Uhr abends regelmäßig für erheblichen Lärm (Baggerarbeiten, Kreissäge etc.) gesorgt hat. Der Aufenthalt im Garten wurde dadurch stark beeinträchtigt. Was ebenfalls schade ist: Offenbar sind Mängel, die von Vormietern bereits im September 2020 angesprochen wurden (Türschloss im Badezimmer ausgerissen), bis heute nicht behoben worden. Daher nur drei Sterne. Ansonsten aber wirklich eine schöne Villa zu einem fairen Preis.

Séjour chez Monica

Jolie villa avec piscine pour passer un joli séjour en famille. Nous notons quand même une vaisselle très salle à notre arrivée, un barbecue laissé avec des morceaux de viande. Une très jolie piscine mais qui a vite verdie. Je pense à un entretien vite fait bien fait… Ça ne marque pas de points. Le reste est conforme à l’annonce. Les échanges avec Monica sont simples et elle est disponible.

salut, merci pour votre avis. notre piscine est toujours bien nettoyée et agencée, comme nous vous l'avons expliqué malheureusement les températures de ces jours supérieures à 40* ont légèrement modifié la couleur de l'eau. mais nous avons été immédiatement activés, il aurait été préférable de ne pas jeter de pastilles de chlore dans la piscine comme vous l'avez fait. une salutation.
