Welcome to Lot 1028 – Your Lake Kampeska Getaway!

Built in 1979 and thoughtfully renovated in 2016, this cozy, single-story cabin offers all the charm of a lake retreat with the comforts of home. Nestled on a flat, 100-foot-wide lot, there’s plenty of space to relax, play, and take in the stunning views of Lake Kampeska.

The cabin features 850 sq. ft. of updated living space, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bright sunroom, inviting living room, and stylish shiplap and vinyl plank flooring throughout. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, it comfortably sleeps 5 guests—with approval, we can accommodate up to 8.

Sleeping Arrangements:
• Primary Bedroom: Queen bed with extra room for a portable crib.
• Second Bedroom: Twin-over-full bunk bed with space for a pack-n-play or portable crib.
• A pack-n-play is available upon request. For additional guests, you’re welcome to bring an air mattress or sleeping bags—just let us know. (We provide an air pump!)

Inside Amenities:
• Fully stocked kitchen with concrete countertops, stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, and cooking essentials
• Dining area with seating for 5-6
• Washer and dryer for guest use
• Full bathroom with a walk-in shower, single sink, concrete countertop, rustic galvanized steel wainscoting, and plenty of towels (bath & beach)

Free, secure WiFi is available throughout the cabin.

Outdoor Features:
• Private dock access during the warm season (installed by May, removed late fall)
• Lakeside fire pit – perfect for evenings by the water
• Gas grill with propane provided

Pet-Friendly:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome! We allow up to 2 dogs (under 50 lbs preferred), with a one-time, nonrefundable pet fee: $100 for up to two dogs. Exceptions considered for special circumstances (like hunting dogs). Please kennel pets if left unattended, and keep them off the furniture and clean up hair—thanks for understanding!

About Lake Kampeska:

Lake Kampeska is a beautiful 5,250-acre glacial lake just northwest of Watertown, South Dakota. Known for its scenic shoreline (13.5 miles!) and artistic inspiration, it’s a hub for year-round outdoor fun—boating, fishing, biking, swimming, ice fishing, and more.

The lake is home to two state parks (Sandy Shores & Memorial Park) and one city park, plus over 15 miles of bike trails. You’ll also find two great golf courses nearby: Prairie Winds and Cattail Crossing.

We’re less than a mile from Sandy Shores State Park—perfect for launching a boat, snowmobiling, or enjoying beach time with the family.
