About this property

Farmhouse in Tuscany for vacations with family and friends, private fenced pool

Old farmhouse whose traces are found already in 1700, immersed in the green hills of Siena, on the edge of the woods of the Naturalistic Oasis of the Tuscany Region. We are at 630 Mt of altitude with a fabulous panorama. The house is exclusively rented, no other guest will stay on the property. It is composed of two independent units but communicating to allow the stay of groups of friends or families in comfort without losing privacy.

The house is located between Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia, a crossroads and a meeting point in the heart of Tuscany for all those who love nature, literature, arts and history in an environment of perfect harmony , is located in a perfect position to visit Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Pienza, Montalcino, Cortona, San Casciano dei Bagni. Being in the south of Tuscany, you can also visit umbria and part of lazio, lake trasimeno and castiglione of the lake, town of pieve, orvieto, perugia which is only 50 minutes, Assisi to 1 hour and a 15, roma to 1 hour And 20. and many other places of timeless charm. Sarteano is only 4, 5 km away.

In the garden there is a patio with barbecue for outdoor lunches and dinners.

The structure is immersed in oak woods that border the Naturalistic oasis of the Regione Toscana Parco di Pietraporciana, it is the ideal place for those who want to relax away from the chaos of tourist paths, and for those who love nature and look for a place of peace.
For guests on request we organize dinners with cook at home with typical Tuscan products with the best wines of the area.
The owners do not live in the house, the entire property is rented to a single group.
The pool is 12x6 meters large

The hosts were super friendly and very responsive to all our requests. A great experience overall.

Beautiful setting, charming house with everything we needed. It is on a dirt road, but not too hard to navigate and the owners were upfront about it beforehand.

Amazing!!

Clean, beautiful and spacious with everything you could need for a perfect stay in Tuscany! Rafaelle and Fabiola were amazing hosts providing everything and more!! So thoughtful and generous. Great house with greater host

We rented this house in june 2023 and it was exactly as presented. The house was clean and the pool was great. The hosts were the best I have ever had. They helped us to know the surrounding area and even helped us when we had a problem with our car. I would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! Fabiola and Raffaele treated us so well, like family! Fabiola recommended two fabulous wine tastings and booked them for us. And the pastry fairy left packages! Delicious! The house is perfect, so quiet and beautiful. It was an amazing stay. We’ll book it again when we come back to Tuscany. Thank you again Fabiola and Raffaele for all you did for us!

Sarteano e fantastico!

Our hosts, Fabiola and Raffaele were so amazing and helpful. An occasional "extra something" would arrive during our stay. Very comfortable, relaxing and gorgeous Vistas. Well equipped for our 3 couples on this Tuscany vacation. Near to Sarteano for groceries and a gateway to everything else thar Tuscany has to offer. We'll be back to stay with them next year. Loved this beautiful ancient house!!! Grazie mille!!! Ciao!

Wunderbarer Platz

Genau was wir uns gewünscht haben. Viel Platz und Ruhe. Ein wunderschönes Haus. Ein grosser Garten, Pool und Tischtennis. Die Wiese sehr groß zum Ballspielen. La casa è molto pulita e ben tenuta sia all'interno che all'esterno, Raffaele e Fabiola si sono resi disponibili ogni volta che abbiamo avuto bisogno di loro e ci hanno viziato con prodotti locali. Peccato che siamo rimasti per poco tempo ma torneremo sicuramente. A presto!

Southeast of Siena …a great location

A lovely couple took care of every need. Special treats and offering of a home cooked meal from a local, plus willingness to make reservations were appreciated. House was up a long gravel road but once on main road near to amazing Tuscan towns we were looking forward to visit.

È stato un soggiorno eccezionale, dal primo all'ultimo minuto. L'ospitalità dei padroni di casa e la casa davvero full-optional ha reso il tempo ballerino di questa metà di luglio ininfluente, torneremo appena possibile! Un suggerimento, manca sul sito l'indicazione del pezzetto di strada bianca per arrivare alla casa, per noi non è stato un problema, ma potrebbe essere una sorpresa spiacevole in caso di auto particolarmente bassa.

Podere finemente ristrutturato e curato nei minimi dettagli; situato nel verde delle colline toscane, in un luogo molto incantevole e riservato. Si trova tra la Val d’Orcia e la Val di Chiana a soli 5 minuti da Sarteano e 10 minuti da Chianciano Terme. Inoltre il luogo è strategico per raggiungere Siena, Perugia e Arezzo in poco meno di un'ora e Roma in un’ora e mezza; ciò grazie all'uscita dell'autostrada A1 Chiusi-Chianciano Terme sita a circa 10 minuti dalla struttura. Gli ambienti erano puliti e confortevoli ed i proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili.

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans cette magnifique maison de pierre rénovée avec beaucoup de soin, noyée dans la verdure et accessible par un petit chemin de pierre - le lieu doit se gagner... Calme et paisible, uniquement le chant des grillons le soir, idéal pour se ressourcer hors des chemins touristiques. Nous avons été accueillis par un couple adorable, discret mais disponible, les petits plats locaux en cadeau le soir ont été fortement appréciés! Nous gardons et diffusons l'adresse, ce lieu gagne à être connu, merci pour encore à nos hôtes, nous repartons avec plein d'étoiles dans les yeux...
