DDay beach visit.

Very quiet and peaceful. In its own grounds along with the family home. Close to Bayeaux and most of the DDay landing beaches, cemeteries and museums. The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably and safe to let children play in the grounds. We had a great holiday thanks 😊

The property was very clean and was well equipped especially the kitchen with every thing you could need, bedrooms and living room were also clean and comfortable. The property is well located central to Bayeux and Caen and ideal for visiting the D-Day beaches and museums. The property is set in a large garden which would be ideal for a family with children and is very quiet both in the day time and night.Marylène and her husband were fantastic hosts and very friendly leaving you to your own privacy after showing you around the apartment.I really enjoyed my stay at the property and would definitely book again on my next trip to Normandy

Ideal für unsere Reiseziele

Abseits vom Tourismustrubel auf einem parkähnlichen Gartengrundstück gelegen, trotzdem alle relevanten Ziele zwischen der Halbinsel Cotentin und Le Havre schnell erreichbar. Wir wollten möglichst viel von der Normandie sehen, dafür ist die Lage des Ferienhauses ideal. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, mit allen notwendigen Dingen versehen; wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Betreuung durch das sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieterehepaar war perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schöne, ländliche und ruhige Gegend mit vielen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten

Excellente localisation pour les férus d’histoire

La localisation du gite est parfaite tant pour suivre les traces de Guillaume le conquérant (Bayeux, Caen) que pour les plages du débarquement. Conseils précieux des propriétaires concernant les marchés et restaurants du coin. Accueil trés sympathique.

Rien à redire. Ils ont laissé les locaux propres. Des voyageurs aussi discrets que nous . Séjour un peu trop court pour du relationnel . Petite famille sympathique que nous accueillerons très volontiers une prochaine fois .

Les photos ne sont pas tout à fait conformes à l'annonce

Dans un parc de 1000m², établir le parking juste devant la maison, donc au minimum 3 voitures( 2 appartenant aux propriétaires plus celle du locataires). Attention pour les personnes handicapées: une marche de 30cm séparent la cuisine et toilettes salle d'eau du séjour et chambres. les pièces sont plus petites qu'il n'y parait sur les photos.

Vous avez eu une voiture ,autre que la votre, à peine une journée .Quant à la superficie du gîte, il est bien indiqué qu'il fait 70 m. carré . Le ménage n'a pas été fait .C'est incorrecte.

Alles auf auf einer Ebene und für 2 Personen groß genug. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist das Haus nicht geeignet,da sich im Flurbereich zum Wohnzimmer ein größerer Absatz befindet. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich. Nur keine Angst wegen der Sprache,es wird locker mit der Übersetzer-App gearbeitet.Wer Schlösser und Gärten mag findet in der Nähe eine große Auswahl. Meine Frau und ich haben uns in Carcagny sehr wohl gefühlt.

Country cottage in Normandy

Pleasant cottage just outside of Bayeux France that is quiet. Nice for a stay visiting Bayeux, the Normandy beach landing sites, and other local and historical sites.

Rustige landelijke omgeving, maar toch makkelijke uitvalsbasis naar de meer touristiche attracties in de omgeving. Huisje is prima, maar geen overdreven luxe. Vooral de keuken zou wat verbeterd kunnen worden.

Idyllic, peaceful, yet near to all amenities and wonderful hosts.

We stayed for a week, the property is in an idyllic spot with a huuuuge garden and everything you could need. It is only ten minutes from Bayeux which is a beautiful town with many supermarkets and shops, the light show at the cathedral is not to be missed. Marylene the owner came and met us and could not have been more helpful and charming especially with our two girls who absolutely loved our stay. We would definitely return again.

Erholsame Familienferien bei sehr netten Gastgebern

Die zwei Wochen im Häuschen auf dem großen Grundstück haben wir genossen. Alles war perfekt. Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und die Gastgeber helfen bei allen großen und kleinen Problemen. Der Weg zum Meer ist gut machbar und Bayeux eine wunderschöne Stadt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.
