Nestled in the small village of Kerréo (or Kerreau) in Pluvigner, our thatched cottage is close to the Gulf of Morbihan and the estuary of Etel. Ideal for people looking for a quiet and enchanting place. An oasis of calm and greenery for a relaxing holiday while being close to the main places of tourist attractions in Morbihan and Brittany. Our cottage is perfect for couples and / or with two young children.

This old, fully restored thatched cottage was originally used to store the cider barrels, hence the width of the front door (1.06 m) and the height of the door (1.80 m). So be careful when entering and leaving the cottage to lower your head for the older ones. It is located in the heart of the village next to the owners' house.

The cottage consists of a lounge / kitchen area, 1 bedroom upstairs (1 hotel-quality king size bed (1.80 X 2.00), 1 sofa bed 1.40 X 2.00 in the living room, bathroom with toilet, electric heating. Private garden 20 m², terrace 15 m², garden furniture, plancha, hotplates, microwave, television, internet access, parking ...

We are 20 minutes from Auray train station and 25 minutes from Lorient Lann Bihoué airport.

Enjoyable stay

We highly recommend a stay at this property. The location is peaceful and very picturesque but close enough to amenities and easy access to lovely french towns and beautiful coastlines. The property is nice and clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and so friendly.

Un petit séjour très agréable au milieu d’un jardin magnifique. La chaumière possède tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir bien. A l’abri du monde, on peut rayonner facilement entre les sites remarquables. Très bon accueil.

Très beau gîte confortable dans un environnement d exception pour les amoureux de calme et de la nature. Odette et Jean Luc (les propriétaires du gîte) sont adorables avec une présence discrète et pleines de petites attentions. Nous avons passé trois semaines de vacances ressourçantes.

Zauberhaftes Reetdachhaus

Jean-Luc und seine Frau vermieten zwei Ferienhäuser. Wir waren im kleineren, nagelneu und sehr stylish eingerichtet, mit roter Tür, herrlich kühl im inneren. Es hat einen Raum, die Schlafecke ist geschickt abgeteilt. Uns hat die Küchenzeile ohne Geschirrspüler vollkommen ausgereicht. Das Badezimmer ist dafür um so größer mit separater Toilette und 2! Waschbecken. Die letzten Stahlen der Abendsonne erwärmen die heimelige, überdachte Terasse. Wir haben gut und ruhig geschlafen, ab und zu haben die Hähne der Nachbarschaft gekräht. Jean - Luc ist ein zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Vielen Dank!

Das Ferienhaus war wunderbar sauber und besonders die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich.

Wir, mein Partner und ich, haben einen wunderschönen 10tägigen Urlaub in dem süßen Ferienhaus genossen. Ruhig gelegen, mit vielen tierischen Nachbarn, konnten wir unsere Abende auf der gemütlichen Terrasse ausklingen lassen. Jean-Luc und Odette waren sehr zuvorkommend und trotz unserem noch ausbaufähigen Französisch, verlief alles reibungslos. Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei ihnen für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt und die erholsame, friedliche Zeit im wunderschönen Morbihan.

Deux semaines très agréables à Kerreo

Très agréable séjour au calme dans cette petite chaumière bien aménagée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin fleuri avec beaucoup de goût.

A nice restful stay. Jean Luc and his wife are excellent hosts.

The cottage is VERY clean and comfortable. The cooking (self catering) side could be improved with provision of some form of "grill" and also a small deep freeze. Pity a BBQ is not considered practical due to thatched roof.

For safety reasons (thatched roof), we do not wish to put barbecue in the pergola, but a gas plancha. Recently, we have also added a mini forced air oven. Séjour fabuleux

Le gîte est dans un cadre idyllique, où les fleurs sont omniprésentes. L'endroit est encore plus beau qu'en photo !!! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par des hôtes absolument charmants et aux petits soins. Grâce à eux, nous avons découvert de bonnes tables. Au milieu de la nature, nous avons savouré le calme, passé de bons moments. Bref, un endroit à recommander sans modération. En ce qui nous concerne, vivement qu'on y retourne.
