About this property

Quaint private cottage in the heart of Mandeville offers a quiet retreat.

Have the best of both worlds. Newly renovated 1100sf apartment offers a quiet peaceful retreat in the heart of Mandeville but only an hour drive to the bustling French Quarter!

Two queen bedroom cottage with a full kitchen is perfect for a weekend get away. Located close to the Tammany Trace, we offer two dedicated mountain bikes to renters to explore the beautiful northshore. We are located 10 blocks from the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Complimentary coffee service.

Explore Fountainbleu State Park, enjoy the fabulous restaurants and bars in Old Mandeville, or listen to live music at nearby Rubies Roadhouse (Friday and Saturday nights only). Guests will also enjoy the peace and quiet of the property.

We have two friendly labradors on the property. They are fenced separately and won't be in direct contact, but they are on site.

Our private fenced in yard has a plunge pool which is approximately 8’ circumstance and 2’ deep. It is for the property owners private use only. We want any parent visitor with young children to understand that this small pool is on the property. Guests can access this private yard by using the emergency exit in the kitchen, so please be aware. This pool is not for guests use.

Garbage can is located at the end of the driveway next to the cottage.

Please treat the cottage as you would your own house. If you used the kitchen please clean it and load dishes in the dishwasher and start it.
Clear out any food in the refrigerator and wipe down the counters. Please do not cut directly on the butcher black counters.
Please empty the trash before you leave and put it in the large black garbage bin at the end of the driveway. Load the dishwasher.

We had such a wonderful stay at this quaint private cottage in the heart of Mandeville. The space was incredibly clean, quiet, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing retreat. The big screen TV was perfect for unwinding at night with any streaming service we wanted, and all of the cookware and the dishwasher worked great — everything felt seamless and easy.Rebecca was so accommodating and even came out to say hello, which was such a warm touch. It was clear she would have gladly supported us with any hospitality needs, but everything was so flawless that we truly didn’t need a thing.All in all, it was a pleasant, stress-free stay, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Quiet little retreat

This cottage was a nice, quiet respite to come back to after a long day of visiting family and towns nearby. It provided everything I needed, and the bed was super comfy! It is close to shops and restaurants by the lake. Book this place!!!
