2 double bedrooms one with shower room, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, 1 full bathroom, kitchen, lounge and downstairs WC.

This recently renovated central town house is in a fabulous location within 2 minutes walk from the River Ouse and City Centre. The interior has been furnished to a very high standard. Sky TV with Sky Sports and Tv's with Freeview in 3 bedrooms upstairs. TV in bedroom with bunkbeds has a DVD player.

This property is not suitable for Hen or Stag parties.

We had a fantastic stay! Hosts Sharron and Darron couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive.The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.It was a very short walk into the centre of York and the parking was very convenient. We were able to explore at our own leisure making it a stress free trip.

We had a great time here. We stayed with 2 children and grandparents. The house was really well located inside the city walls and so only a short walk to everything. The living room was a great size and the house was well set up with a well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended!

We have no complaints at all.The distance to every amenity is fantastic, but its so quiet and secure when you've had enough.The house itself is decorated beautifully & its got everything you want & need. We booked a short day in York to take advantage of the Christmas market. The property was very central and only a five minute walk from the centre of York and the market. The parking space was an added bonus. The property is only a 10 minute walk from the main train station. The sofas and beds were very comfortable. The property is in a very quiet location well away from any noise.

This was a lovely place for our family of five to spend two nights! Much more spacious than we anticipated. It had everything we needed except a vegetable peeler and shampoo/body wash for the shower (but the store was around the corner, so we just bought some). Would happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay in York

We had the most amazing stay in York and owe it all to our fabulous host Sharon. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this place was definitely at the top. Lovely, comfortable, short walk to the city center, and we highly recommend to anyone visiting York. Can't wait to visit again.

We are a family of 4. Two children aged 10 (girl) and boy 6. We live in Formby Liverpool. My husband is originally from York, hence our love of the beautiful city.

Why they chose this property

We have looked for the right property for over 10 years and eventually found this gem. It is situated inbetween the Bishophill area of York which is an up and coming area attracting many independent shops and restaurants and bars and the City Centre. The house is extremely comfortable. Since purchasing the property in November 2015 we have completely overhauled the property including roof, heating, electricity, kitchen, bathrooms, carpets etc etc. This property wasn't furnished with the intention of a holiday let but for a second home. Since my son has started to play cricket at weekends and we can not visit as often as usual we have decided to let the house.
